El Sanador (2014)

Really enjoyed this addictive show.
Pretty much had everything. Suspense, excitement, comedy, romance, thrills and fights.
Although I do have to confess, it reminds me of many shows rolled into one, still I enjoyed it a lot. (Sorry to say but I am a little partial to the hero, I have liked all his dramas, as an innocent, sweet, loveable but strong character)
I liked all the character development. And welcomed that it did not have heart wrenching heart burning scenes and people. Pretty much had likeable characters, except for our good ol baddie who wasnt that hateful either.
all episodes had enough gripping power to avoid the FF button, each ending with a strong cliff hanger. ( I have decided to end an episode in the middle, as usually the ending makes you want to keep watching, and we all have to sleep and work!) I was a bit dissapointed with the rushed ending.
Overall an interesting watch, wont mind watching again sometimes.

I'm kind of upset I didn't like this drama more. Maybe it's just not my type of genre . But I think the issue with me is that I had seen the high ratings and reviews and expected way too much from this drama. I felt like most of the time I was confused with who was who to concentrate on the actual storyline.

Plot was interesting though. I don't watch much action/drama type dramas. It's a little bit of a cliché. Typical people knew each other in the past, were separated for certain reasons, and are reconnected 20+ years later. The way it was played out wasn't too bad, can somewhat be realistic.

Cast, for the most part I loved. Especially Chang Wook. He played the Healer really well in my opinion. Yet he was able to play such an adorable office worker at the same time. He was fun to watch in this drama. Park min Young was great too, I already like her acting. Them together, chemistry wise, was perfect. As the episodes went on I just wanted to watch those two and forget about the plot.
Supporting cast, there was a lot..But the main supporting cast was a joy to watch. The Ajumma, Moon Ho, Dae Yong, and the cyber detective helped make this drama better. (especially the cyber detective towards the end!) Also, Chang Wook did an amazing job with all the fighting/stunt scenes. I'm not sure how much he did but everything looked very realistic and I loved how the camera angles were used!

Music I really didn't care for. The ending song always just sounded cheesy to me but instrumental, it was nice on the ears. But nothing really stood out to me.

Overall it was a good drama. I'm only disappointed with how things ended. A lot of points in the drama were left unanswered or they were answered in a low-key type way to give the viewer I guess a little bit of satisfaction but never really addressed them fully. So much happened in this drama maybe some things could've been left out to talk more about other things but in the end everything did make sense. (which may contradict what I'm saying but after finishing this drama I understood how everything was planned out) I just would've liked to see..more? I felt like the ending happened so quick that it didn't feel like a final so I'm left feeling a little sad with that.

I'm not 100% sure if i'll ever come back to watch this again. It was a good drama don't get me wrong and I would recommend people watch this but, It wasn't exactly my cup of tea. I might just come back to watch Chang Wook's scenes because they were A+

Oh My God, I am speechless, this series made me hooked from the first episode. The story is brilliant and unexpected. I won't even mention on how handsome Ji Chang Wook is, but the acting is superb, the action is also good! This series is really one of a kind, comparable with Signal.

I don't know why i only watch it now.. haha silly me. Luckily i decided to watch this, coz i read the rating is not good so i judge it, but now i watch it and omg, i dunno what's the heck is wrong with the rating? The story is good! I laughed, i cried, i worried, etc. It has a good plot, haiz! I am gonna miss this drama! I have binge watched it for two days hahaha, I am gonna watch it again, yes! it's that good! Very recommended!

I LOVE ALL THE ACTORS HERE! They have their own story and backgrounds, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THERE IS NO STUPID FLASHBACKS hahaha! I just hate flashbacks just to fill airtime, but this one doesn't have it and I LIKE IT!

Yes, i am gonna edit my other drama's review coz this one is perfect and not comparable to other drama! Thank you healer, u have kept me entertained!!

There was never a dull moment in any episode. I think I even watched 6 episodes in one sitting. That is how good it was. I never knew who Ji Chang Wook was until I watched this drama, I was impressed with his acting and I love how he becomes the confident Healer. How the story unfolded was just right. It did not drag at all. The romance factor was realistic, none of this rich and poor girl/guy thing. It is a breath of fresh air from the other Korean dramas that I have seen. Now, this is worth watching, compared to that dumb Heirs that I just watched (yep I am still mad!).

EVERGREEN ACTION ROMANTIC DRAMA

The story runs in two different timelines present with 1980's flashbacks. a group of five college friends used to battle against the severely restricted freedom of press in 1980s South Korea., but their close friendship ended in betrayal and an unsolved crime way that has been passed down to their future generations. The story revolves around secrets from the past of a group of friends, that not only affect the cast of characters in the present, but also the political situation of the country and their children. Sometimes the story runs in parallel with past and present events linked up. As the characters dig up the secrets, they realise what they are really dealing with. The drama is fast, it makes you want to see what’s next and Ji Chang Wook's cool action scenes that always maintain the high level of excitement in each episode which makes every episode cool. It presents a well-rounded story with action-rom- Mystery, the action sequences and the mystery angle of the plot get your emotions roaring, the romance makes your heart pounding. The main leads are Jung Hoo (Ji Chang Wook) , Moon Ho (Yoo Ji Tae) and Ji Ahn (Park Min Young) as the actors convey their vulnerability flawlessly. Absolutely amazing acting from the three lead stars, Excellent OST with outstanding cinematography.

Healer entered as Action-romance drama but dealt with all sub-plots perfectly thanks to writers, actors, and directors took a decently engaging plot and executed it with care, transforming it into an incredibly engaging viewer experience.

- Everything about the drama just fits together to take the audience on a journey of action, thrills, heartbreak, and love. I guarantee that once you begin the series, you will be unable to stop, It is a drama worth every minute of your time. The action scenes were top class. But if you are not a fan of stunts..You could just skip those scenes. But definitely give it a try to those action scenes :)

Amazing story which can be seen through watching the drama. The actors fully embrace their characters and portray them in the best way possible. Ji Chang Wook is an amazing actor and dare I say one of the best actors Korea could offer. The story gives you mixture of the past and how the past has impacted the lives of the character in the present which is the writer's have done an amazing job on. The drama is mixed with comedy and amazing action scenes that are a must watch. The romance and action are the delight of the show as well as the character development that lets the viewers develop their own feelings and embrace the protagonist as well.
