Such a fun romp.
Such a fun romp!.Maybe it is just very silly and something to watch only when you are dodging the real world. Howevere once I had watched the first few episodea I was desperate to see how it ended. The ending was always going to be a bit disappointing in a drama such as this but actually I did not feel let down.
Took me ages to watch as finding the last few episodes of the drama was very difficult. when i did find it it took over a month to download! Perseverance was rewarded.
Thank you so much.

Park Hae Jin! Unexpectedly Good for a First Timer like me
This was the first show of Park Hae Jin I've watched and his acting was basically what made this show to my like. His serious expressions transforming with his excellent comedic timing turned many scenes into pure hilariousness. I enjoyed some of them so much that I've been going back and rewatching for the last two days.I also liked the bromance a lot. I like how the Hallyu star Hyung didnt take this tough secret agent very seriously and vice versa. It was a lot of fun.
It felt like main actress and main actor werent in tune in the beginning tbh and I still cant say they were great together, but I appreciated the casting nevertheless. They looked real, I liked their relationship and I like how unexpected this kind of romantic relationship between these two people both for the viewers and characters as well.
I feel like Man to Man is very underappreciated. It truly gave me DoTS feelings. I'll be watching rest of PHJ's work in no time and will be looking forward to his future projects.

Detail:
This is a fun spy drama, Park Hae Jin is good as always and he's supported by a strong cast as well throughout. Park Sung-Woong plays the comedic element fantastically well. Good to see another drama with Chae Jung-Ahn as well, having seen her in only a couple of dramas so far such as Suits, it was fun trying to figure her character out.
The story has a number of twists and turns, nothing too earth shattering - good enough it's a change in gear for the story, but not so earth shattering that it ruins future re-watches, I think i'd enjoy a second watch nearly as much as the first even knowing all the twists.
For me the last few minutes are where the drama forgets to put a nice full stop on its ending - the *story* is ended, everything concluded in whatever way it concludes - but I just didn't get the closure I wanted for the main characters at the end, made even worse because they appeared to actually be setting it up for a nice final scene and then just didn't!
Music - nothing earth shattering but a couple of tracks stood out and I found myself humming them to myself while not watching the drama so not bad either :)
Worth a watch imho!

This could have been oh so much better
By now, we've seen so many FBI/CIA/NIS/Spy/Ghost movies and series that it's really hard to take this Drama seriously. They completely missed the mark here. It could have been so great if Everyone was completely oblivious that K was an agent (a ghost at that) and we (the viewers) were the only ones in-on-it... but no... Everyone and their mother in this drama knows NIS agents, ghost agents that are supposed to be "Secret" agents.
If this is fake then it's hard to sit through and believe the rest. The beginning had something, but it's all downhill from there and the ending isn't great either.
I should have dropped this by the middle (ep 7~8 ish) but like a fool I stuck to it only to be disappointed and regret having pushed through to the end. Oh well, win some and lose some.

What made it harder to watch is the leading lady Kim Min Jung - there is just something about her that is annoying like Choi Kang Hee (that's why I could not finish the Queen of Mystery). This is just a matter of personal preference.

I really loooked forward to see Park Sung Woong in a different role other than the villian and he didn't disappoint! I loved his character, although Yeo Woon-gwang can be a brat. I loved the bromance between Yeo Woong-wang and Kim Seol-woo[. I wished there were more scenes between them. I was pleasantly surprised at Jeong Man-sik's acting and character. I loved how his character just randomly popped out of the blue with all these different identities!
I really looked forward to Park Hae-jin's character but there was just something.. missing. His acting was a bit flat at times but overall it was good. I found Kim Min-jung's character the most irritating. I tried to like the character but she was just to irritating. It felt like she was an irritating side character that was getting way too much screen time. I could sympathise with the character at certain times but it felt like the character was too underdeveloped and naive. I liked some of the romantic scenes between Kim Seol-wool and Cha Do-ha. But it sometimes felt like the romance and action scenes didn't work together as fluently.
The soundtrack was kind of a let down. The music sometimes didn't fit the scene.
That's my two cents on this drama. I really tried my hardest to like this drama, because I hate leaving a drama unfinished, but there was just too many stuff that bothered me.

Action scsnes are cool only when you don't know what's next
So far its the coolest action romance i have seen. Its a must watch for drama lovers. Acting is on point. Storyline is too cool to handle. Actors seem to be made for their respective roles. I feel this drama isn't lacking in any aspect. Even the villians are doing their jobs the best. Chemistry between the three leads is just out of the world. I have still many episodes left to be watched but i m totally enjoying it.For a fact i am not much fan of action dramas because they all seem the same. But this one seems to have a completely different storyline. Once in a while even action heros/ secret agents have their hearts beating faster than usual and they sometimes go out of their way to save someone.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
So much potential
Premise was great, execution was meh. I really liked the three main actors; Park Sung Wong as the pampered action star Woong Gwang was excellent, and the bromance between him and agent K (played by the very suave Park Hai Jin) was pretty funny. Kim Min Jung as Cha Do Ha was endearing as a fan turned confidante with the older action star, who came off as kind of a father figure. But Agent K was a terrible spy, with pretty much everyone on to his spy status, but tromping in and out of his spy hideout, the whole secret agent idea did not seem very secret. The romance between Agent K and Do Ha fell flat as well. As many reviews have stated, there was very little chemistry between K and Do Ha, and the rationale for the romance was kind of flimsy. I think it would have been good to lean further into her conman upbringing and her suspicions of Agent K. He apparently used romantic entanglements with gullible women to achieve previous missions; Do Ha's street smarts and quick wit should set her apart and explain his attraction to her.
I dropped it because the plot was getting very repetitive. The spy missions were not that intriguing and I lost interest by the third mission.
Individually, I did enjoy the three main actors and hope to see them in other roles.
