Great episode

Holy shit, Bae Sung Woo is an out of this world INSANELY TALENTED actor! WOW! He deserves an Academy (or is it Grammy?) Award for his performance in this drama. Mind blown!

Also, honestly, if the situation for Korean police is really this bad they should go on strike, just for a day. Just don’t show up to work. When people call 119 for help and no one answers or shows up let’s see if they learn to appreciate them more. Too bad it would take many civilian lives lost to prove that point and, really, they’re so stubborn and ridiculous they’d probably focus on putting that blame on them anyway. Let the cops start quitting in mass though. Then maybe the corrupt higher ups, Internal Affairs and Prosecutors would start acting right, and also rewrite the dang police manual.

I also wonder how often these situations really occur here in the US. How many times are officers used as scapegoats, especially with the “Black Lives Matter” movement now prevalent. I’m a black woman who hates to see any injustice and quite frankly I don’t trust the media at all, especially here where tabloids constantly publish anything without verifying facts and constantly gets away with it. Especially here where the news is also skewed, manipulated and used to steer public opinion where they want. I’ve seen cases where I’ve doubted the validity of the reported cases of police violence against blacks in the news and it infuriates me because those cases simply make things harder for the real cases of police brutality to be treated justly. I’ve also seen far too often cases where officers clearly were in the wrong and extremely unjust but got of with just a slap on the wrist. These things all happen here just like it does in Korea. The difference is that police here are protected while, from this drama, it seems Korean police are not at all whatsoever.

Sang Soo finally is finally acting mature. LOL. It’s like once he feels secure about something he can relax and focus on his personal growth . He’s a little slow on the uptake at times but at least he learns and improves and he has the biggest and purest heart, without question. If anyone can break down Jeong Oh’s walls it’s him. He just barges in anyway. LOL

However, I feel that if she’d left too soon, before she fully let him in, they wouldn’t have lasted. She’d put those walls right back up while she was away. So I’m happy she’s staying a while first.

Everyone else is still amazing as always. This show is freakin fantastic.

Oh! FYI - it looks like season 2 is set to air in 2021! Yay!
