This show is long since it tries to tell from the beginning on how the two main characters met. It may be boring in the first 20 episodes, it gives details on the events and I think it will be better if it does not include Bai Feng Jiu's narration and acting when she is in form of fox, which is the part I dislike most about this show.
The main characters , the supporting characters are interesting. There are quite a number of funny, witty quotes that make my days.
There are cute , sweet and sad moments, story is something different in the world of deity.
My favorite part is the story of Aranya dream, it is made perfect, Feng Jiu knows Xi Ze is Di Jun (which is different from novel). They both are the perfect choice to portray these characters. In fact, I am still not tired of rewatching episodes 20 -last episodes

Loved This Version Of Story For Little Red Fox & Imperial lord.

I started watched this right after Eternal Love. I wasn't a big fan of the ending these two got over there and am glad that this sequel was made.

If you watch it right after Eternal Love, right off the bat, you'll notice the difference in production, some of the central cast members, and character behaviors. Bai Feng Jiu from Eternal Love was a bit more mature compared to this one. But that stopped bothering me once we see her turn into a fox, she is so damn adorable. The male lead is of course gorgeous, however his appearance in the Eternal Love was a bit better, in terms of styling, the hair, the outfits, the colors in this one took some time getting used to.

I was hoping to see Mo Yuan/Ye Hua, but that didn't happen. At first, I thought that they didn't exist in this universe but they do they are just never seen.

This is one of the shows where the female lead falls first and falls very hard, whereas the Male lead takes forever to notice her affection. While he is not one of those who falls harder but he wasn't able to figure out his feelings on his own, his friends had to prompt him and tell him about all FL has done for him. Anyways, once he decides to pursue the FL, he is all in. That's what matters.

You will regret ..if you miss it!

To tell you all truth Even though I love drama I won't watch it second time or no more.. But I lost the count I watch this drama... Mainly I start to watch it for Emperor Dong Hua.. His silvery hair.

Story line is prefect .. But why did u stop with 57 chapter... After long struggle they got happy endings.. It would be better if their some chaps about their love life..

Also the supporting character... Si Ming ....Lian song....Cheng yu ... Amazing ... Their role and they perfectly did their role.. May be we can say the role is characterized for them.

Sobre algumas cenas e o episodio final.

Eu não vou mentir, esperava mais da historia ficou uns pontos soltos tipo; por que a rainha dos demonios era má? por que ela queria destruir tudo? ficou faltando contar essa parte da historia. outro ponto foi os três episodios finais, não tinha necessidade fazer aquela mudança no final do drama, eles já tinham passado muito tempo separados, ela simplesmente fugir, esconder que tava gravida e ainda ser super fria com ele, foi muito desnecessario. Agora a historia foi muito boa, as osts estavam perfeitas, o elenco é incrivel e a atuação tava impecavel. Não posso negar que o final do jeito que eu queria, eles dois juntos e com um filho, o problema mesmo foi só algumas cenas mau resolvidas...

Beautiful, Magical, Touching

A really really beautiful story. I laughed, I smiled, I cried, and I was enchanted by this magical and mysterious world. But more than anything I was moved by Dong Hua and Feng Jiu's powerful and enduring love that was able to overcome fate and brought them together across three different lives. Everything was perfect. Gao Weiguang and Dilraba Dilmurat's performances were spectacular. I absolutely adore these two.

One thing that particularly impressed me is the backdrops. Every scene was like a painting. Compared to other dramas like this the effects were done exceptionally well. I highly recommend watching this. You won't be disappointed!

No complains here. I mean yes I was waiting for this abit too long. And the genre is abit outdate for the trend now. But if you like the Eternal Love/ or Love and Destiny... then you will like this too. Nothing is wrong with soapy drama. It is well done for its kind. The script is enjoyable and it doesn’t have a drag-on moment (not to the point where I stop watching). I still think Love and Destiny is the best version of the peach blossom story. The Pillow story is just more of the story the couple but it doesn’t really continue to their storyline in Eternal love. But you get more details and more complete story of the couple.
Anyways I dont have much to say but it is enjoyable.

One of the best drama I've seen so far

Okay just as you may know this is the second drama of eternal love. But the story itself evolve around
Feng Qiu and Dong Hua. The reason I watch this because I really like eternal love and I love Feng Qiu and Dong Hua 😍. The plot is very similiar to eternal love. But there are several things that also different. I thought I can't see Bai Qian again but you know what she show up. And also the fox is really cute. SERIOUSLY YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED. The only thing that I didn't like is why the plot is very similiar to eternal love if it could be different it would be a lot wonderful.

Chemistry is on point!!!

I honestly enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. The chemistry between the two leads is on fire!!! I've gone back and rewatched my favorite parts about 3 times now. They did a real good job!! Some of the side characters are super annoying, but I just skip past those parts when I'm rewatching. Like the daughter of his friend really needs to get her crap together. She annoyed me the most. My only complaint is that I needed ALOT more of the end. I want more than just a few confirmed minutes of happiness. Don't know why they did that when the show was already 56 episodes. Add one more for closure! Lol. I highly suggest watching, it's super worth it!

The drama was very well written with multiple story/plots inserted that were paid off.

Not particularly interested in Chinese Fantasies & haven't seen Eternal love from 2017 to understand the context of this drama as many characters were carried over, in some cases their personalities do differ slightly.

It does fall into the drama-sque scene, as the heroine over time is able to whittle down the the male lead's cold emotion-less heart over centuries of time and turned him into love sap.

Jumping from one story to another you had to remember certain key points, which they pay off, which was very considerate not to leave the viewer hanging, and gave a sense of closure to the story.

Maybe the only thing missing was going abit more into Bai Feng Jiu's ancestral powers/background and her fox powers, which they basically held off to the very end, given that they basically have access to fate, and all sorts of knowledge, something like this should've been known or documented.

If the author's goal was to make Bai Feng Jiu the key to Dong Hua's unlocking heart, and the key to solving his problems, they accomplished that. Dilraba plays Bai Feng Jiu's role well into the context of the story defined/time/societal role, it does not show case her wide range of talent as her previous work, but she shines as the main character.

Novel aslinya indah. Castingnya, terutama chemestry antara Dilireba & Vengo natural banget... Seandainya film nya sesuai novelnya, tidak ada penambahan scene pesanan untuk Ji heng (sebagai selir Wan & happy ending dengan Xiao Yan), hanya gara gara dia pengin memerankan Bai Feng Jiu tapi ditolak netizen, jadi cari cara, nambahin cerita & merubah karakter Ji heng seenaknya dia... ataupun karakternya tetap antagonis, tidak dibikin menjadi wanita yang perlu dikasihani/korban.. aku beri nilai 10. Tapi gara gara Ji heng memaksakan diri muncul lebih sering, tidak sesuai dengan novelnya, jadi kecewa...
