I was super excited when I discovered they did a season 2, but ended up disappointed.

Korn x Knock : I feel like some of the conflict was unnecessary, like the cheating thing in Korn's case, like why? In season 1 we see all of the sh*t he goes through to get Knock and then cheats on him? Not to mention that it doesn't fit his personality. I mean they could have just done the classic misunderstanding when one of them thinks the other cheated but in reality he didn't. However, I did like that they had to get the approval of the parents, to me it made sense that they had to overcome that in order to have a "happy ever after".

Yihwa x Cho: I feel like the whole cheating thing with them was more acceptable. Why? Not because Yihwa only kissed Art, but because her reason was a bit more understandable? I mean, both her and Cho are super busy and rarely have time together. I understand that maybe because of that she would feel a bit lonely or something, and Art was with her everyday and showed her kindness (not that Cho didn't, he was a sweetheart) and she confused her feelings of being comforted for love.

Farm x Rit : I. Am. So. Mad! Why the f*ck did Farm end up with Bright?! I seriously thought that guy was ancient history after the end of season 1 when Farm took revenge on him. I was so happy when Rit appeared, because I genuinely thought that he was gonna make Farm see that it's okay to open your heart and love someone after what the stupid doctor did to him. I kept my hopes up until the end, thinking that the whole thing with Rit and Bright was gonna make Farm realize that he didn't feel anything for Bright, but for Rit. Also, Rit is an absolute angel, not only did forgive Farm for cheating on him, but also he let him go. To me, that was real love, he was soo hurt by Farm and he still put Farm's happiness above his.

In the end, it wasn't bad, but it could have been so much better if the storyline made a bit more sense in some aspects. The 1st season is better tho ????

Not a good plot! I think they ruined the story and the characters

I gave this a 7.5 because of Max and Tul because it should be like a 6, without them and their chemistry this would have been doomed. The plot is so cliché and ruins the whole story, if they wanted to make a third season, they must have gone alone with them living together, coming out to their parents and the problems of every relationship, why go into cheating and hurting each other? also, why is cheating seen as nothing serious when it drives you to lose confidence in your partner and what is a relationship without trust??

Max and Tul have such good chemistry together but I couldn't understand the need to break two strong relationships (korn/knock and yihwa/cho) with cheating following the line that all gays are cheaters and can't stay in serious relationships. In together with me yihwa was a strong female character always standing up for her friends and taking care of them and in this one she is a pushover, she doesn't know what she wants and loses all the strong qualities her character had, same with Farm making him a fuckboy sleeping with every boy he finds and hurting people to get what he wants, wasn't he hurt that the doctor did the same thing to him, why would he want to be as the one who hurt him, I think they ruined the characters.

My thoughts before and after I finished watching.

There is no spoilers in this really, but if you don't want to know the "Bad guy" I guess you could say, you may not want to read this. Just a heads up. 😁

🖤Together with Me: The Next Chapter

I'm still watching this one, though I am almost done, but I wanted to say that I don't remember watching a show where I want to bitch slap so many ppl all the time! Man, what the heck is wrong with them?

Farm: this guy turn into a piece of shit! I felt so bad for him after what happened to him, but it turns up becoming the same piece of shit as that guy! Come on!!!! Why?? What's even worse is he thinks he's not in the wrong! ARGH!!!
After Finished: Still feel the same about him, just wish he lost in the end. He should not have a happy ending. 😡

Korn: Really done fucked up, there was NO excuse for what he did, DONE! He's the 2nd one I want to bitch slap (Farm being the first if you haven't guessed. 😅 ) Thou I do have to say I do feel for him a bit, but still know he did WRONG!

Lerk [Korn's father]: What a real piece of work this so called "Father" is. I wish Korn just slapped him and then walked away from him after telling him your not my dad anymore!!
After Finished: He got a brain, Yay! 🧠

Yiwha: She was a roller coaster for me, didn't like to much at first, but then in the end liked her, she showed she was a true friend by not stopping till she got the two face in the end.... but then she turns around and does that to Cho! NO, NOPE, NOT! Just need to bitch slap her till she come back to her senses!
After Finished: She didn't do what I though, so not to bad, still was wrong, but in the end she knew. ⭐

Pete: I didn't like him from the start an then I saw why I didn't, he is a REAL PIECE OF SHIT!! Talk about bitch slapping someone, though with him I would do more just because he deserves more! He wants someone that he can NEVER have so he's got to do all that crap. He just needs to fall down a well for a few years!
After Finished: HA! you didn't get your way in the end. Once a piece of crap always a piece of crap! 😡😡😈

Art: Another one who needs to be slapped, his GF didn't deserves what he did! I am glad it didn't work out for at least one person. :D

The best one out all them is Fai!! Gotta love her!! 😍

And here I am writting another review... yes, "Together with me, New chapter", came to an end to me. I watched all the episodes from other "seasons" and I enjoyed all of them but this one man... you guys really nailed it!
In this chapter of the serie we can learn a lot from it because not everything that seems to be, is...
Firstly, I have to say that yeah, I was pretty shocked with Korn´s attitude towards Knock... to be honest right in the moment at Pete´s, I said to myself "of course not, he ain´t doing it, he is the one who´s always overthinking, overprotective, etc, so he ain´t doing it, but... yeah no possible explanation for that. I guess I can only come up with same old saying that "man are made of flesh...". Anyways, sometimes we are just too good people that we can get caught by the spider trap. I believe that this serie gives us an overview of how people can manipulate us to get what they want, how hard is to love somebody at the same time as of dealing with side problems, and specially how to forgive.

Fidelity in every relationship.

I have no finish watching this series yet but after watching TWY-S1 & Bad Romance series then now to this TWY-NC, I noticed this drama touches on reality of lives which involves on gay's relationship & even with straight couple relationship & it's dealing with fidelity issues which I guess most viewers might not like it.

In this series, we will see 3 couples involved - 2 gays couples (Knock & Korn & Farm & Dr. Bright) & 1 straight couple (Cho & Yihwa) relationship. What interest me over here is Farm & Dr. Bright relationship as if you have watched the TWY-S1 then you will see how hurt & betrayed Farm felt towards Dr. Bright where his feeling was being played & worst of all he was gang "raped" by Dr. Bright & his fellow playmates. At the series we get to see how Farm going to take revenge on Dr. Bright & let the Dr. have his dose of medicine. The only person I pity is Rit that is Farm's new, young & innocent boyfriend.

As for Knock & Korn if you have watched Bad Romance series then you will know both of them have struggled very hard to maintain their relationship & Korn has proposed to Knock too. Over here you will see how both are still struggling to hold on to their relationship as they need to get their parents approval & blessing. It's not easy for Korn to break this news to his dad since Korn's dad is not in good terms with Knock's dad & Korn's dad disapproved Korn's to turn to become a daughter.....lol
To add oil to the fire Korn has accidentally slept with his superior, Pete which brings it even harder for both Knock & Korn to maintain their relationship. I can fully understand the stress & pressure that Korn are currently facing. Knock on the other hand is very childish, immature & irresponsible to me. He should be more caring & understanding towards Korn & not keep on pressuring Korn to admit their relationship to their parents especially towards Korn's dad. Anyway Korn has no feeling towards Pete & it was just a mere accident that he slept with him.

For Cho & Yihwa case, that one if you have watched Bad Romance series then you will sure feel very sorry for Cho as he has been loving & persuading her for such a long period of time. I feel that if Yihwa does not love Cho as much as Cho loves Yihwa. She should have let Cho off earlier than dragging on this relationship for years & cause a big mess. Over here you can see the difference between Cho & Yihwa relationship compared to Knock & Korn as Yihwa has feelings towards her senior, Art. Cho deserves a better lady compared to Yihwa as from the beginning I don't see or feel any sparks or chemistry between him & Yihwa even during the Bad Romance series.

Anyway I have to finish this whole drama first before evaluating it & for sure this drama is not easy to digest compared to TharnType or 2Gather or A Tale of Thousand Stars.

TRIGGER WARNING: Cheating

I know that it is best to watch every episode prior to actually making a judgement on a series but I too could not get pass episode 8.
Max and Tul truly are great actors and their on and off screen chemistry is so palpable. Even if Knock had some weird facial reactions throughout some scenes.
Although I don't mind spoilers so I knew what to expect and that there will be cheating in this season... what actually transpired turned me off majorly.

I don't condone cheating, but I thought I could try and tolerate it for the sake of this drama. Hell how many shows have this angle? Plenty and I have no problem watching... Perhaps it's my bias and ship of Korn7Knock that made this so strange to me. I felt like I was personally wronged.

I think the first angle with Knock would have made more sense in my head, especially after the dog walking scene, but I just could not continue watching after what actually transpired. Why Korn.. whyyyy!???? We were rooting for you, WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!

That being said... I won't fully unbiasly (is that a word? ha ha) rate this series as I haven't finished it... nor do I plan on finishing it anytime soon. I satisfied myself with watching the ending clip on youtube instead to maintain my sanity LOL
The acting was on point, the chemistry was on point... the script although was fine, I still was left with so much disappointment. This is getting long... so I'll end it here.

I'll just go watch Sotus so I can feel better... ugh

A Compelling Trainwreck...

A complete mess. But a compelling and absolutely engaging one at that. This series started off strong with logical, natural plot points but delved into cheap melodrama like its prequel, Together With Me. I like how there are a lot of scenes with Korn and Knock this season as I felt that the first season didn't have enough. But I don't think that Korn and Knock are popular enough to have a fan page and to be a top trending topic on Twitter. Like what? They're not a celebrity couple. They're not famous for anything. Why do they get so much attention on social media?

I do like how the series handled coming out to one's parents. The fear of losing your parents, being disowned by your parents was portrayed quite well in this series. It's nice how they show a homophobic parent (Korn's father) who is willing to disown his son just because he is gay. It provides a different viewpoint that is more realistic. The series shows him struggling and trying to accept his son's sexuality, but that it would take time. You don't see that often in BL's. I have yet to see that personally ever since I started watching. They all either don't come out to their parents or their parents aren't shown. And if they are, the parents are supportive. On the flip side, Knock's parents were supportive. I loved how supportive they were and willing to learn about LGBT. It's kinda cute how both Knock and Korn's parents think that they want to be women just because they like guys. A lot of people probably think like that, so it was nice to see the show answer that honestly. I also liked how the series portrayed the struggle of bisexual people and the allure of a 'normal' family life since they do have a choice.

Several plot points that don't make much sense like how Jay doesn't like that Korn and Knock tells him what to do since that is his job and they are his superior. Since he worked there longer, he probably had other superiors who told him what to do. There are anti-discrimination laws in regards to employment in Thailand, so what Jay threatens to do could get him fired. So, that didn't make much sense.

I was so invested in the Knock and Korn's relationship. You get so angry at Korn for delaying coming out to his father because it's affecting his relationship with Knock. It is clear that Knock is visibly being affected with the stress of having to hide his relationship and it's taking a toll on his ability to work and yet Korn does nothing, which makes sense, but still! You get so angry! You need to believe that Korn loves his father enough to not want to cut ties with him. Not sure if the series was able to portray that fully though. Their bond could have been more fleshed out in my opinion. Also not sure why Korn and Knock would go swimming with Pete, their boss, in the first place. Why are all the older gays in this series lusting after young guys? Why are all the older gays in this series trash? Like literal trash that preys and manipulates young gays. It's disgusting and unneccessary portrayal of older gays.

Don't really cared for Yihwa's straight relationship to be honest. Only cared for the gay relationships, specifically Korn and Knock. Knock's coming-out scene! My heart was FULL! And F*CKING KORN cheating on Knock with their boss! WTF! What Korn did makes sense on paper: Korn was angry at Knock for not understanding him and he was drunk. And there was Pete, who understood him. However, was Korn drunk enough to cheat? I don't think that he was, to be honest. He only seemed buzzed. Definitely not drunk enough to lose his rational thinking. And yes, he was angry at Knock for not understanding him when it came to coming out to his father, but he wasn't angry to the point of doing something to hurt Knock. Especially for someone who is so paranoid that their partner would cheat on them. What Korn did didn't make sense. The reasons he gave to Knock when everything was revealed made no sense. And anyways, in the first place, if Cho felt weird about Pete and knew that their boss was hitting on Korn & Knock, why didn't he go to the party to make sure that Pete wouldn't hit on Korn or Knock. What a sh*tty friend!

Why the f*ck did Korn and Knock believe a word coming out of that f*cking snake, Pete's, mouth? Like literally, they cannot be that dumb! And in regards to Pete abusing his position, they trusted him as a mentor and as their superior and he broke that trust. How disgusting! Its nice seeing topics of sexual harassment at work and abusing one's power and seniority be addressed in BL's.

What is up with the excessive amount of cheater in this series?! I cannot fathom it! And from characters who would never cheat! It's out of their characters! Yihwa would never cheat, but she did. I lost all hope for Farm who did a complete 180 at the end of the first series. It's like the writers can't create compelling stories for the characters without inserting some cheap cheating drama (which are engaging and edge-of-your-seat no doubt, but still cheap). Manipulative, but it works. I got so emotionally invested in Korn and Knock's story. Absolute character assassination. I can see why people criticize this series. However, the fact that I and many others can get this emotionally invested in these characters, their lives and choices, does say something though. The fact that we get so angry when they cheat on their partner is an impressive feat in itself. I must say that I do like that they show forgiveness after cheating and not just break up forever. Everything can be solved if they just talk to one another.

The acting was on the same level of the first season. MaxTul's chemistry was undeniable no doubt and their intimate scenes were extremely hot. I felt that Tul's acting did slightly improve from Together With Me though. However, Max's acting seemed to stay the same, being unable to emote properly in emotional scenes.

Together With Me and Together With Me: The Next Chapter are similar to SOTUS and SOTUS S as their prequels focused on the chase and accepting one's feelings while in school and the sequel dealt with coming out and the work environment. On a side note, interesting that Phubet and Professor Kavitra weren't in this season at all.

Lastly, I felt that the takeaway message of this series is: Learning how to be in a relationship; what it means to be in a relationship; about compromise, priorities, being monogamous, forgiveness and sharing your life with another person.

On a final note, I hope that there will be another season of Together With Me. I thoroughly enjoyed both Together With Me and Together With Me: The Next Chapter. Yes, they both were flawed. They both started off really strong but took a dip in the second half. I would like to see the characters grow though and see their journeys progress. Hopefully it will happen though I don't think that it will as it seems that only 2 seasons are the consensus :'( MAXTUL 4EVA!

I thought I could power thru the frequent goofy sound effects & random situation comedy meets teletubby background music but the show isnt much better. The reviews mention some serious subjects will be addressed but after an hour and a half of poorly written, inane dialogue spoken at slow speed, I gave up. The characters were 1 dimensional, so I had a hard time judging their acting ability. I did laugh about how Farm grew up from the clueless innocent to the guy who looks like he needs his mother to come kick his ass ^_^
