The chinese movie is lower budget but has more of a survival theme.

Both of the movies are of historical genre and are about pirates in Joseon dynasty. If you have enjoyed watching The Pirates: Goblin Flag you will obviously like watching the movie 'The Pirates'.

Ok pirates is not a space adventure but it gave me the same feelings, mix of comedy, action of course the cast and cameos too. A good time though both plot can go a bit off track sometimes still enjoyable either way.
