Tive uma agradável surpresa em me ver emocionada que algumas cenas, não sou do tipo que se emociona fácil, mas há tantos detalhes que me fizeram pensar em como uns tem muito e outros pouco. O que mais gostava eram as comparações que faziam da principal em ambos países, o que só reforça o que disse anteriormente.
Sobre a escritora, apenas tinha visto dois doramas dela, de fato há coisas que mudaria nos dois, mas isso só foi mais uma motivação para ver esse, já que gostei de ambos. Também gostei desse, mas como os outros, o final sendo razoavelmente feliz, não me deixou cem por cento com a sensação de fechamento. Porém não nego que gostei da maior parte do conjunto.

Why on earth did i choose such a beloved drama for my first review
I should like to state that first and foremost, for the record, that I enjoyed this drama. I feel the need to do this as earlier this evening, when I was penning my first draft, I was made aware of a peculiar scent, hitchhiking it's way on the evening breeze. Twas the cloying, acidic smell, of burning tar and pitch, that was being exuded in copious amounts, by a torch wielding mop. They were standing idle outside my home you see, fully prepared to commit my flesh to the fire, dare i say anything less than complimentary, about the show they hold so sacred.I am a reviewer however! And i shall not be cowed, i am determined to give my honest, if slightly worthless take, on this korean entertainment export, now, let's begin shall we?
Story:
The writing is very good for the most part, the setting is very unique, even when compared with some of the more outlandish dramas out there, and was undoubtedly what drew the eye of many a newcomer. The characters are also very well written, my favourites being our main protagonists rag tag band of fellow soldiers. There are some glaring issues however, the most agregious being our main antagonist, he is less an evil character, and more of a character shaped plot device, mostly there to cause trouble for our leading couple, and to set up the appropriate number of narrative roadblocks, to ensure that their story does not reach it's conclusion, before the intended episode count. Even when his motivations are explored, they are surface level, and frankly a bit ridiculous, he hates our leading man simply because the story demands it, there are worse antagonists to be sure, there are also a great many better ones however.
Acting/Cast
The best part of all in my opinion, exemplary performances are the norm here, rather than the exception, and i can't think of a single character who could've been portrayed better with a differnt casting choice. Truly the highlight for me, and while i may have some criticisms in regards to the story, i have none here, the chemistry between our leading couple is worthy of particular praise, i was only mildly surprised to learn that the actors portraying them, recently had a child together, i doubt i could resist that kind of passion either.
Music:
Very good, it's opening is definitely amongst my top 10, their use of sound to enhance certain aspects of the actors performances, is also worthy of accolades.
Rewatch value:
It didn't quite quite have the same profound effect on me that it did others, so it hasn't replaced any of my comfort drama, i will definitely watch it again at some point though.
Conclusion:
It's not perfect, despite the rabid enthusiasm of some, it suffers from a few story issues, as well as having an antagonist that's written with a weak hand, it overcomes these issues however and I'm confident in declaring it a solid experience, dont be ashamed if you don't like it though, it's definitely not for everyone.

This would possibly be my favorite drama of all time. Not only did I shed tears over this drama, but I would rewatch it so much.The storyline provides such a heart throb to viewers and explains how difficult it is to be these people, if this situation were to happen.
Having to fake it til you make it out alive, was really a playable and well thought out factor throughout. this drama. However, the love aspect would have to be the strongest thing for me yet.
From not caring much for each other to falling for each other. Then ultimately ending up with each other was the best feeling ever to witness and endure.
I feel that music-- piano is what really brought them to each other. Such a soothing play that brings back memories for both really set the mood.
Overall I give this drama a 100/100. I just love it.

Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin's performances were simply phenomenal
Sure, I'd be happy to elaborate on the acting in Crash Landing on You.Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin's performances were simply phenomenal. Their on-screen chemistry was palpable and their nuanced portrayals of their characters' emotions and struggles were truly captivating.
Son Ye-jin's portrayal of Yoon Se-ri was particularly impressive. She effortlessly conveyed Se-ri's confident and independent persona as well as her vulnerability and inner turmoil. Her emotional range was incredible, as she seamlessly transitioned between humor, sadness, and hopelessness.
Hyun Bin, on the other hand, brought a quiet intensity to the role of Ri Jeong-hyeok. His stoic demeanor belied a deep well of emotion, which he conveyed through his expressive eyes and subtle facial expressions. He was especially powerful in the later episodes, as his character faced increasingly difficult choices and situations.
The supporting cast also delivered strong performances, with each actor bringing depth and nuance to their characters. The members of the North Korean army unit, in particular, added humor and heart to the drama, making them stand out as more than just caricatures of North Korean soldiers.
Overall, the acting in Crash Landing on You was top-notch and helped to elevate the drama to new heights. Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin's chemistry and emotional performances were a major highlight of the drama, and the supporting cast also deserves recognition for their exceptional work.

Good Points (+10): A show which moved my heart despite I knew what was going to happen with outstanding acting, a very very strong female lead, interesting side characters, great character interactions, outstanding chemistry between main couple, great character development with 2nd couple, heart-wrenching scenes parallel to corresponding sound tracks, tons of emotional brain wreck powered by excellent acting and great screen grabber points at many parts of the entire drama. I don't, in the slightest, have any problem with how Korea is depicted cuz I myself know very less about it (I have seen few peeps complain). I heavily care about the character interactions which was done amazingly, even with side characters. The show tried to depict multiple themes which at few times felt kinda sudden but I liked them anyhow! Very Outstanding Show!Bad Points(-1): Clichés, unnecessary death of 2nd couple, felt just too many clichés, unnecessary content - I felt the villagers interaction to be not more than useless in later part of show (except the part where they receive Seri's Choice New Product from Seo Dan's Mom), I don't understand why Yoon Se-ri and Ri Jung Hyuk cannot live together in Seoul, I feel some parts in show were ughh kinda they could have done this different way?
Overall, in front of the good points, I can only deduct 1 point since this series is just outstanding!

This is just so perfect, from the cast to the music to the storyline everything is just so good. The chemistry between Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin is just so flawless.
Although their were some points that I think could've improved like the death of a certain character (I rlly don't wanna give spoilers) but everything was exemplary. Although some parts were cliché the actors ,the producer, the director did such a great job that they just seemed so different. Number 1 drama in my heart and I don't think anything can replace.
Now that Son Ye jin and Hyun Bin Oppa are married really hoping for a season two where they get their twins.

Forbidden Romance love story
I’m going to start off by saying that, I started this show like maybe in 2022 and then dropped it for a year- and then I realised I stopped it at like episode 13 and I was soooo close to finishing it, so I started it up again. Half of stuff that happened in the show I forgot already BUT, I really don’t understand why I dropped it when the show is actually really good?I think once the story went from North to South, it did get a little boring and it seemed like the story kept circling around the same problem- which is the brother wanting to kill Se-ri and the forbidden love between her and the North Korean guy. (Forgot his name sorry ?) But after finishing this K-Drama, I really regret dropping it mid ending, I feel like it would’ve been much more impactful and also, despite the fact that I forgot so many things when I started it again- I still cried so much ?!? ESPECIALLY WHEN THAT GUY DIED! I’m not going to reveal who (although I also forgot his name so…?) but I was so upset, literally what was the reason!!! Such a stupid and unnecessary thing honestly, that’s probably the only thing I disliked about the show- other than the fact that some things were a little dragged out.
Anyway I found out the main characters actually got married in real life and have a kid? Which makes so much sense because their chemistry was definitely chemistry-ing, such a beautiful couple!
Alright so, what I took from this is that- the show isn’t bad at all, it has a good plot and you know whats happening. I think the reason I got bored with it was because this story does really focus a lot more on the romantic aspect of the show- basically the love between Se-ri and the North Korean, and although of course there IS action BUT it is not as nearly a reoccurring thing like romance is. So much cheesiness, not just between the main characters but side characters as well.
So if you’re in a mood for a cheesy romance story which gives it a little spice because it’s forbidden…this K-Drama is for you!

Romeo and Juliet - Korea Edition
I heard great things about this drama, and it lived up to the hype!At first, I was bored by the North Korea beginning segments with Seri being there. I had to watch it in 2x speed. But things quickly started picking up around episode 10. I then felt hooked into the action, the romance, and the cast members, especially the lovable comrades. Them entering South Korea reminds me of the drama Rooftop Prince, and they had such funny cute scenes!
My favorite part of this drama is the cast. Everyone was chosen so well, with such amazing chemistry and acting skills. I also watched this after the main leads got married, but after watching it, I am not surprised they did. Their chemistry was off the charts. I was cringed by the cheese at first, but when it got to the melodrama of the romance, I could feel the love and longing seeping through their expressions. And they are such a beautiful matching couple, I just kept admiring their visuals! Seri was also surprisingly not as annoyingly damsel in distress as I thought. I wasn't a fan of her at first, but she proves herself to be very confident and smart!
My second favorite part is the music. There is some Disney magic music going on, as I felt the feels with every soundtrack playing.
The storyline was standard. It's a very interesting concept to see into North Korea and its way of life though, as fictional as it may be. The second lead couple and their story was really just filler. They didn't really link with the main couple. They also really brush by a lot of plot holes, but this drama is expected to be super unrealistic anyways, from the moment Seri crash lands in North Korea.
I'm going to miss this cast, its music, and its feels. It was unbeatable!

Spectacular
Have rewatched this so many times and can say that it is still amazing. The relationship between all character are beautifully told and acted out. Love RiRi couple so much first drama ever where I actually enjoy the whole drama barely skipping at all. Many have watched this already but in case someone haven’t prepare your tissues!The only thing I disliked was that I was hoping for a 2nd season until Netflix confirmed there will be none. However the ending is very good I just want to see more of Crash Landing On You. Also the behind the scenes are great to watch if you want to see more of the casts interactions.

Before watching this drama I didn't understand why it was so hyped. Now I do!
So, I am relatively new to kdramas, but my gosh this drama was absolutely worth the hours I spent watching it. For me there is nothing worse than getting to the end of the drama and feeling like you've just wasted 16+ hours of your life. I have no regrets after watching this!This drama was an absolute joy to watch! The action was amazing. The chemistry was swoon-worthy! The OST was mind-blowingly beautiful and the story was amazingly crafted! I was never bored watching this and I definitely recommend watching it if you haven't already.
One major thing I would like to point out is that although there are a few minor things I would've changed regarding the storyline, I have still given this a 10/10 because of a number of reasons:
1) I felt extremely satisfied after finishing the drama.
2) I connected with all the characters (even the women from the village in North Korea).
3) This drama took me on an emotional roller coaster ride
4) I believe that one thing that occurred in the second to last episode will have upset many people like me, and although I thought it didn't add anything to the drama I didn't make me like it any less.
Things I liked:
- The limited use of cliché (I know some people will argue with me here but to me it felt moderate and not too over the top or cheesy)
- The chemistry between the two leads *insert chef's kiss*
- The OST (stole the show multiple times)
- The mixing of genres (if you are looking for a pure romantic comedy then this is not for you) - I loved the romance, comedy, action and mystery aspects
- The realistic ending (the way they didn't ignore the whole premise of the show so that there would be a happy ending for the characters (not spoilers saying who)
- The cinematography and special effects - thumbs up the the incredible production crew behind this drama
- The characters and the acting behind them *insert face of awe*
- The story as a whole, the way in which everything fitted together and how I was hooked until the very end (didn't want to drop the drama at all)
Things I didn't like (as much):
- Parts of the second to last episode
- Some of the tiny parts which were a little slow for me
- When some characters were almost too "_" in order to add more comedy to the show
Overall, I loved this drama and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a rom-com with that little bit extra (action, romance and plot twists!!!
