2gether The Series (2020)

J'ai découvert WIN !!!!!!!!

Bon, en ce qui concerne cette série je l'ai beaucoup apprécié, j'ai regardé cette série bien longtemps après sa sortie alors j'ai pu la binge watch dans la paix.

Tout d'abord le plot, j'ai trouvé ça un peu too much au début mais j'ai vite accroché. Le jeune Tine qui est un vrai bourreau des cœurs, LE tombeur de ces dames se retrouvant harcelé lourdement par un jeune homme et qui n'a pas d'autre choix que de demander de l'aide à la star de l'université. J'ai beaucoup aimé l'ironie de la situation dans laquelle se trouve Tine, lui qui voulait profiter de ses années à l'université pour draguer des filles et s'amuser se voit contraint d'être dans un faux couple avec un garçon.

Le groupe d'ami de Tine est mignon et son très proches les uns des autres, j'ai beaucoup aimé qu'ils lui suggèrent de draguer Sarawat pour se débarrasser de Green (même si on est d'accord qu'il y avait d'autres solutions)

J'ai beaucoup aimé Tine, je l'ai trouvé attachant et un peu maladroit sur les bords, il a une personnalité jovial et est un peu mesquin sur les bords. Je l'ai trouvé un peu naïf de ne pas remarquer que Sarawat le draguait réellement et que ça n'était pas seulement de la comédie. Au fur et à mesure que des sentiments vont naitre pour Sarawat, on peut voir que Tine est un peu perdu mais je dois sire que si il avait pu sortir avec quelqu'un d'autre que Sarawat j'aurai été ravie ! Sarawat est la définition de toxique ! Il est jaloux maladif et voit Tine comme sa propriété ! Je pense sincèrement que Tine aurait pu trouver bien mieux que lui mais ce n'est que mon avis.

Um BL bem nota 7.0

[Antes de começar já aviso que essa é apenas a minha opinião pessoal.]

Vou listar primeiro os pontos negativos desse BL:

1- O BL começou muito bem, um plot clichê de fingir ser namorado do outro por seja lá qual motivo, mas ainda dava pra passar pano por que estava divertido ver o desenvolvimento deles dois em cima disso, mas com o tempo o BL foi ficando cada vez mais maçante e tedioso. A qualidade dele simplesmente começou a despencar a partir de mais ou menos o episódio 6, (não me lembro direito mas acho que tudo começou a desandar quando eles enfim começaram a namorar de verdade) creio que a produção desse BL não soube como continuar a história com a mesma qualidade que começou, e foi tudo virando uma grande farofa confusa, aleatória e perdida. E quando digo perdida, digo que todo o plot e conceito inicial foi simplesmente jogado pra casa do c4ralh*, os personagens começaram a perder lentamente a personalidade que tinham no começo e ficar meio diferentes e até meio desinteressantes, a história não seguiu muitas das coisas que propôs, e sempre que apresentava um tema novo na história que poderia ser bem explorado, eles não desenvolviam quase nada e já enfiavam mais um outro acontecimento no meio até virar uma bola de neve sem nada realmente exclarecido, ou até mesmo, no fim, você sentia que a história dos casais nem avançou ou amadureceu em nada de um episódio para o outro. Senti que depois do ep 7 ou 8, parece que a produção só começou a inventar pretextos e cenas aleatórias só pra fazer a série durar os 13 episódios, por que cada episódio a partir desses, parecia que ficavam cada vez mais desconectados uns dos outros e que eram só episódios realmente aleatórios que não mudavam em nada na história nem nos casais, principalmente os protagonistas, que, aliás, durante 13 episódios não pareciam agir como um casal, parecia que tinham medo de serem mais íntimos ou até mesmo tocar um no outro como um casal, sei lá, segurar as mãos ou abraçar? coisas simples que faltaram bastante.
2- A produção errou demais da metade pro fim desse BL, estragou a série, por que ficava insistindo em conflitos bobos que podiam ser resolvidos com facilidade, e MUITO repetitivos, desde os eps 7/8, parece que eles só ficavam inventando de uma terceira pessoa tentar pegar um dos dois e causar ciúmes no outro, e ficou desse jeito ATÉ O FINAL DO BL, sinceramente, me deu uma preguiça tão grande por que era sempre a mesma ladainha, sempre a mesma coisa, que eu cheguei a acelerar algumas cenas de tão tediante que era. Eu tive a sensação de que realmente os produtores não tinham mais ideias e ficaram fazendo isso só pra encher linguiça e durar os malditos 13 eps.
3- O Sarawat se perdeu muito no personagem. Além de que a personalidade dele parecia até mesmo um pouco tóxica??? Um ciúmes praticamente possessivo, dizendo que o Tine PERTENCIA a ele????? Gritando com ele quando ficava com ciumes... e LITERALMENTE os únicos beijos desse BL foram forçados pelo Sarawat?? Isso me decepcionou demais. Ainda bem que ele melhorou um pouco isso, lá da metade pro final. (Diferente do Tine que continuou ciumento até o final, mas eu relevei por que entendi que era algo da personalidade dele e que ele ainda está aprendendo a lidar com esse lado dele.) As vezes Sarawat é meio tarado pelo lance de querer pegar/apertar as tetas do Tine, mas eu relevo por que é engraçado demais todas as vezes kkkkk. Mas tbm teve coisa de ele tratar o Tine como "esposa" e o BL fazer essa "brincadeira" o tempo todo, caras, PAREM de normalizar chamar o outro de esposa numa relação HOMOSSEXUAL, parem de heterossexualizar tudo, credo!! É MACHISTA E HOMOFOBICO.
4- ABSOLUTAMENTE NENHUMA relação, seja de amor, amizade ou família, foi realmente aprofundada ou levada a devida atenção nesse BL. Foi tudo tão mas tão fraco, raso, que foi esquisito de ver. Type e Man foram os piores. Man agia quase como um stalker psicopata seguindo o Type para todos os lados, como o Type se apaixonou de uma hora pra outra por alguém assim??? Eu teria é medo!! Foi basicamente como se ele tivesse forçando o Type a gostar dele. Não foi muito diferente com Mil e Phukong, onde o Phukong se apaixonou no exato segundo que viu o P'Mil??? Mas esse até dá pra passar um paninho por que poderia ser mais algo como uma admiração ou simplesmente atração que foi se desenvolvendo em algo mais, até por que, Phukong ainda é um adolescente, e muito inocente aparentemente. E diferente do Man, Phukong sabia os limites para "perseguir" o garoto que gostava e as vezes preferia até ficar apenas observando de longe. E definitivamente Phukong não forçou Mil a gostar dele, apenas pediu uma chance e foi sincero e direto o suficiente com tudo a todo momento. Sarawat foi outro que se apaixonou loucamente só por ter visto o cara UMA vez num show. E no dia seguinte tava se declarando pra deus e o mundo, sinceramente todos os personagens desse BL são muito emocionados... E outra caras.... Tine e Sarawat tem irmãos, certo??? Então por que não mostraram mais momentos deles juntos com seus irmãos? Parecia que eles mal conheciam a sua própria família, como podem ter irmãos e não serem nem um pouco próximos deles? Tentaram desenvolver o mínimo da relação deles com irmãos só pra falar q tem, mas ficou muito raso mesmo assim.
5- Eles têm química, mas não souberam traduzir ela em comportamentos de um casal. Pareciam mais apenas dois amigos que se gostavam mesmo até no fim da série. Mas tem gente que gosta de um casal sem muito mimimi e gracinha/grude, como é o meu caso, então não foi algo que me incomodou TAANTO assim.

Agora os pontos positivos desse BL:

1- Não é muito clichê se for analisar apenas pelas personalidades dos personagens. O Tine tem um jeito mais extrovertido, direto e cara de pau, (assim como o Phukong, amo) foi bom ver pelo menos um personagem que não faz cu doce igual os dos outros BLs, isso já foi um ponto muito positivo, ele teve seu momento de compreender seus sentimentos, mas depois que descobriu, conseguiu admitir isso tranquilamente e isso foi muito bom! Eu amo como ele não tem vergonha na cara pra muitas coisas, mas odeio quando ele simplesmente deixa o Sarawat chamar ele de esposa como se fosse um termo muito agradável de um homem cis ouvir. Mas apesar disso, um dos melhores e mais fortes pontos da série, é o jeito do Tine, de não levar desaforo pra casa, e de não ficar fazendo rodeios com as coisas que sente e quer falar. E mais ainda por que ele provoca o Sarawat do mesmo jeito que ele faz com ele, e não fica igual um tanso passando pano pra tudo q ele faz, nem abaixa a cabeça quando tem algum conflito com ele. Também gostei do fato de que Tine é um tipo namoradeiro, quebrou o padrão por que na maioria dos BLs o protagonista é um muleque virgemzinho tímido e inexperiente que nunca namorou. O fato do Tine ter tido várias namoradas é importante e interessante, por que ele já sabe das manhas pra flertar e inclusive ensina o Sarawat, e ainda flerta com ele!! Muito bom!!!
2- É bem engraçado, e os amigos do Tine são UMA PÉROLA INESQUECÍVEL desse BL. Muito bons, meu favorito é o Fong, o filosofo da turma.
3- Falando no Fong, gostaria de dizer que a atuação do Khaotung e do Win (Tine) foram uma das coisas que salvaram demais esse BL, eles atuaram muuuuuito bem, foi muito bom de ver as cenas deles. Frank e Drake também ajudam a fazer a série valer a pena ser vista, são perfeitos!
4- Apesar de tantos furos, roteiro fraco/confuso e coisas repetitivas e tediantes, o casal principal é fofo, e você de certa forma fica curioso pra ver como vão terminar. Os outros casais são bem "???" na minha opinião, mas com certeza são uma salvatória muito boa na série/ep pra quando o casal principal começa a cair na mesmície, por que atiça sua curiosidade num nível absurdo pra vc ver se vão ficar juntos, principalmente o casal do Drake e do Frank (Mil e Phukong).
5- Pra quem é como eu que gosta de BL onde tem um protagonista extremamente extrovertido sem nenhuma vergonha na cara que "adota" um introvertido, esse BL é uma pedida interessante.
6- Se você quer ver uma série leve e fofa, com uma pitadinha de drama, e um protagonista com uma personalidade icônica que você facilmente vai se apaixonar, uma personalidade diferente das que os protagonistas de outros BLs costumam ter e que PRINCIPALMENTE não dá a cara a tapa e se impõe quando necessário, amigos leais e engraçados e muito suportivos aos casais, um romance que vem a partir de um clichê mas que te surpreende, e um pano de fundo todo "trabalhado" em tema de música, então essa série até vale a pena. Lembrando que nenhuma proposta da série é realmente muito aprofundada ou desenvolvida, mas pra quem quer ver uma série sem muita enrolação, sem contar muita história, só assistir de boas pra passar o tempo sem pensar demais, então até que pode valer a pena sim.

Como eu sempre digo, 2gether é bom, o problema foi a produção.

HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL!!!!

Alrighty guys let me get it started, first the show started off good, the story was good, the connection was good and the chemistry was there, the acting was good, but after a few episodes in everything started going down hill. When they started dating the chemistry was lost like no tomorrow, it literally felt like they were friends, they had more chemistry when they were friends than when they were together. They were literally living together, and we did not even get to see a proper kiss or any chemistry at all. The only times they tried being "spicy", they wouldn't even show it, we were being teased. Lowkey a lot of the story was all over the place, and they kept extending it by adding unnecessary scenes, AND the side couples had more chemistry than the main couple, which says a lot, and also some of the couples formed way too fast and also out of nowhere, like Mil and Phukong, Mil kept saying how he likes him as a a brother and then at the end they're acting all lovey-dovey like what the heck??? Overall this show was not worth it, it was a hard watch, it had so much potential, but it was executed so badly, I'm honestly contemplating watching the 2nd season, but I heard it has better scenes so I'm gonna give it a try, but if you ask me, its not worth even starting this series, so unless you're into very vanilla BL with barely any chemistry then this is for you, otherwise don't recommend watching.

Totalmente superestimado, esem motivo nenhum para isso!

Já começo deixando claro que nunca fiz um review sem ver a série pelo menos 2 vezes, para me certificar de que não estou fazendo um julgamento errado, mas enfim, depois de tudo, 2 gether não me convenceu, e pior, ao rever eu consegui gostar menos do que quando vi a primeira vez! Existe uma sucessão de erros nesse roteiro que eu não consigo admitir, mesmo sabendo que é ficção, péssimas construções de personagens, atuações ruins e plots problemáticos. NUNCA vou conseguir entender o motivo pelo qual essa série é aclamada, respeito que gostou, mas minha opinião é essa.

A história já começa errada, quando cria um estereótipo para um personagem gay, fazendo com que ele pareça desesperado por um homem, e depois, sem maiores explicações nos joga que ele já tinha um namorado durante esse tempo... onde estava esse namorado enquanto Green corria atrás de Tine? E o caráter de Green é bem duvidoso se agia dessa forma, convenhamos...
Não existem histórias paralelas interessantes, isso poderia ser bom, mas nesse caso ficou ruim, pois as histórias existem, só são péssimas. Os casais secundários são totalmente desnecessários e não existe um único personagem com profundidade, com uma presença marcante.

Aí temos o clichê do cara que quer fingir ser namorado de outro. Até aí tudo bem... mas se ele era hétero, saía habitualmente com várias garotas, qual a necessidade de fingir ser gay para fugir de um gay? A lógica foi com Deus né?

Nos últimos eps geralmente colocam um certo drama para que o casal se reconcilie no final, mas vamos combinar que não funcionou dessa vez. A cena da ex namorada abraçando Sarawat e Tine olhando para sair em um choro desesperado é patética!!! primeiro pela péssima atuação do Bright, segundo pq Tine viu ele empurrando a garota, então não tinha motivo para um drama tão ridículo, poderiam ter criado uma situação mais coerente para causar o conflito.

Outro ponto péssimo é o desenvolvimento do casal. Simplesmente horrível... Era bem claro que estavam tentando forçar dois héteros a entrarem de forma forçada em um relacionamento BL (falando da atuação ruim), e os personagens, apesar de dizerem se gostar não demonstravam isso em nenhum momento, salvo em raros olhares, mas química mesmo, não vi. No final, aqueles flash backs "explicativos", o clichê da viagem universitária, os desentendimentos ridículos que se resolveriam com 5 minutos de conversa saudável, aff, MDS!!! Sem falar na possessividade, sem falar no "esposa" que me enche de raiva, sem falar nos beijos forçados. E pior de tudo é saber que foi até melhor não terem colocado cenas mais quentes, pq a novel me fez vomitar na primeira cena de sexo, que foi basicamente um 3$tup*r0.

Mais um ponto ruim: Type. Mds, que pessoa faz algo como colocar uma fita no chão delimitando o espaço para que um "amigo" fique longe do irmão? que atitude quinta série é essa? e pior, vinda de alguém que vive em busca de evolução... o cara na verdade era um escroto, não defendeu o boy dos amigos lixo dele, escolheu ir no carro do amigo, e o outro ainda quis ele depois, passo pano pra isso nunca!

Teve muito alívio cômico, ri em muitos momentos. Achei engraçado que Sarawat sempre pedia para pegar nos peitos de Tine com uma expressão bem séria, gostei das brincadeiras dos amigos até certo ponto, mas quando eles quiseram ser homofóbicos e fazer Tine "voltar a gostar de mulher" eu quase desisto de ver. Além disso, as fãs tóxicas também me incomodaram, o fato de que as atitudes de alguns personagens eram baseadas no que elas iriam pensar ou fazer principalmente.

Tem uma boa qualidade de filmografia e fotografia, a ost é boa, mas a atuação em vários momentos é ruim. Eu não assistiria essa primeira temporada de novo, vou rever a segunda e o filme e fazer o review. Também não vou dizer que quem está lendo não deve assistir, aqui expus minha opinião pessoal, portanto, veja por sua conta e risco!

Such a waste

2 BEAUTIFUL main actors (and I do mean absolutely stunning), a great storyline (even if I don't appreciate the character of green being so pushy...how many times does he need to be told NO to understand? but I get the fact that it serves the plot),
yet this series is so so soooo dull. I nearly managed to finish the first series. not sure I`m going to watch the sequels.

For the story itself: not charter development (maybe Tine understanding of his love for Sarawat can be considered somewhat of a growth).
Actually, there's a regression in Sarawat character. It is clearly told throughout the story he never had a girlfriend, his family is very much aware of it so there's no doubt about him yet at the very end they just HAD to bring a girl out of nowhere and make a stupid fake scene of first love. It makes no sense whatsoever.
The actors have some chemistry but for the series being a BL shot in 2020 it feels very childish, some of the scenes look forced... they're supposed to be adults, and they talk about contraceptive but the only 1 kissing scene look like a kiss you give to your parent when you're a 5 year old.

Secondary "couple" is ok...started sweet and then just faded.
the main antagonist (Mil) is probably one of the least attractive actors I have ever seen in my entire life... but obviously, it's a personal opinion.

Friends are cute, they give some story background but that's it.

So to sum things up, such a waste....absolutely waste.

a show that made me bawl my eyes out like a baby

Watching this show and many other BL shows really has made my heart swell in one corner but at the same time its broken my heart because I wish that boys were like Sarawat... When I first heard about this show, I didn't know that Bright was in it, I just assumed it was a random BL show that everyone was talking about and before I didn't know Bright or Win because I wasn't watching BL as much but 2gether is a beautiful comedy romance which I was forever cherish in my heart because it helped me laugh, cry and sometimes even forget.
I just hope that all of us out there find the person we are destined to be with

second rewatching made me smile & yell at the screen

You're going to watch it anyway. Nothing i saw will stop that...we can all agree the casting of supermodels works for any series.
But, my review is going to focus on the key things future BL producers can learn from. And key things future BL producers can avoid from someone who watched it twice.

The reason this gets nine out of ten starts with some of the obvious key things future BL producers can learn from this BL;
casting will get you to the table, having the two main leads almost smash or get romantic in the first episode will keep you coming back to follow the progress.

The NINE of Ten is when a show TELLS me in ALL CAPS that love is in the air and we will see the flow of it and smile each time they get closer to it. We root and we yell at the screen when small obstacles are put in the way. That is why this is a NINE here.

That is a delicate dance that most BL producers don't get, which starts off - future thing BL producers can avoid. We don't need car crashes, or a rush to the hospital scenes, or an ex-girlfriend a new character showing up to mess up the romance. The day-to-day figuring out how two people make space for a new love, open their hearts to love and the daily scenes of two people enjoying learning about each other is enough.

Leave the drama for your momma...love and dating and creating intimacy between two characters has a whole list of complications. Here we get some of that with a few doses of humor. We can always have more intimacy here and and future BLs. But I digress.

In summary,
* the story is totally unrealistic,
* the script is taped together from swisscheese,
* the chemistry between the couples is inconsistent.
* One of the main leads is just dumb and will make you yell at the screen. The dumb lead character has what I call "unnecessary drama" meltdowns that could be solved with clear communication instead of storming off into the night.

The beginning and ending are good enough to make you smile, the humor between the couples sets the right tone but it lacks intimacy.

But, hey I watched it twice...

and it is still a nine out of ten.

Not the same as in the book

I guess it's alright. The last two episodes are quite disappointing and they also stray away from the novel. I preferred they stick to the novel and just some bits not a lot! There were so many romantic moments in the novel that they didn't include in this series. In the novel, Tine's personality was explained but in the series, he just looks like a stupid, childish fool when there's so much more to him than meets the eye and the reason why Sarawat became very interested in him. I also didn't like how Pam's character changed in this series, making it look like she was a helpless girl trying to chase a love that was already lost. In the novel, she wasn't like that at all. She was supportive of Sarawat's relationship with Tine and she was an ally. I don't understand why in BL, they always do this to girls. The majority of the people watching BLs are girls BTW. So hello! We can be allies! Anyway, it's a series that gives lots of feels, and there were some funny moments as well. But if you read the novel before watching this, well, you'll be a bit disappointed. It's also too short in my opinion and some of the scenes were rushed. The OST is great though.

Well, I'm writing this review a few months after I finished watching this drama. But I have to say, I still remember the feelings I had for the first time I watched this, and the characters, and everything about this series.

This is my first ever actual BL drama, (after The Untamed). So that's why this series takes up a special place in my heart. This is actually the series that made me a BL fangirl and opened up a whole new world for me ♡‿♡. So I'll never forget how beautiful this drama is, and especially my SARAWAT & TINE. The little details were so touching to me. And I think it lived up to it's expectations. It served its purpose as a romantic, sweet & comedic series, so I don't feel the need to over-analyze the story. Also in terms of the story and plot, it's quite sweet and cute to me.

So overall I recommend this drama to anyone looking for a simple, cute story with a mix of romance and humour. And I bet these characters will stay in your heart for a long long time ♡.

[Oh and also watch Still 2gether, after you watched this one. It's the 5 special episodes we got as the sequel to the 2gether. And it is more of a chance to re-witness our Sarawat, Tine and all of the other 2gether characters that were missed from this show.]

Lighthearted; Youthful

From what I've read from other reviews, I was really hesitant to watch this since I've gotten it to the Actor Bright and Win. So, I decided to suck it up and watch this series since it would be my second BL series. After watching this series, many of the reviews that this got was just unjust since the series was pretty good and not what I had expected.

Storyline/Plot: I really like for a BL that this drama wasn't stereotypical when it comes to same sex couples. I liked the fact that both of the characters didn't start of gay but slowly developing feelings for each other. Furthermore, I liked the messaged that Sarawat had told one of the other students who was a girl and not gay/bisexual was that he didn't care about being open with his sexuality but being with the person that he loves. It meant that being homosexual was more than just a title as they both wasn't gay nor Bi. I also like how funny and comical it was since it wasn't so serious and light. The characters were great at portraying their characters as the jokes and endless flirting didn't come off as cringe nor flat. The production was good as everyone got their time to shine and it did well with the transitions from couple to couple. Which I know that many series that features many couples struggle with having a good amount of screen time.

Acting/Cast: I started watching this because of Win, but it made me realize how good Bright's acting really is. I would love to see Bright, and Win do another BL since they had really good chemistry together. I don't know their sexuality in real life but if they are not gay nor Bi, they surely made this convincing. Furthermore, I love the fact that all the other actors really got along with each other well off and on camera.

Music: I liked the music, since Win sung most of them and he is getting better at singing. Furthermore, the actors were heavily involved with the soundtrack as well.

In conclusion, this series is worth the try since it was really good in its own way. I've rewatched this drama more than 10x (not exaggerating) because it had many sweet, romantic, and funny moments that had to be rewatched. Again, the chemistry and plot were really good.

Sarawat - a star of the show

Although I did not think that finding a boyfriend (when you are a straight male) just to make a gay friend stop chasing after you makes any sense whatsoever, I quite enjoyed this drama. It started off in a weird way, but as it progressed it attracted me even more and I was curious what would happen next. The next weird thing for me was that basically everyone was considered "hot" except for Tine... though he is crazy hot.
The biggest disappointment of this show was the littlest amount of chemistry between the main characters. I know that Tine was not gay at the beginning of the show, but he eventually turned out to be interested in Sarawat, so I cannot understand why he was acting so weird when they were in a real relationship. On the other hand, the guy who played Sarawat did a great job and he made me believe that he was head over heels for Tine, but the part that S knew all this time that Green had a boyfriend and that he planned most of the things that happened was a bit creepy for me.
The music in this drama was really catchy and I still play the soundtrack over and over again. A huge plus for the actors who sung live in this show (e.g. Bright - Sarawat) and for the video on YT that proves that - the one that Sarawat recorded on his phone for the music club.

I am a big fan of Thai dramas, and this one is so good. Most of them I have seen have a very strong sexual tension aspect to them, but 2gether stays away from that and on the lighter side of romance and real issues that come with new relationships. My favorite element in this drama is how real the feeling of lack of confidence comes across. How many times do we miss out on love in real life simply because we overthink and fear rejection? How many times do we let our friends opinions influence how we think about the person we like? Ever worried about how your family will react to a new love interest? This show has the perfect mix of humor, strife, and budding romance for me. It’s also not very often that both of the male leads are this attractive. With the exception of TharnType and Win and Team in Until We Meet Again, I truly haven’t been this impressed with the casting and cute chemistry of the leads. I am currently watching Still 2gether and am excited to see how this series wraps up.
