The story line is so sad.

at the start of the drama it seems like it will be a happy ending but unfortunately it’s not. Yu zhan died at the end and leaves xue rong alone. I rlly hope the drama is longer. like at least give a better ending. i personally really wish it’s a happy ending. They gone through so much hardships and in the end there’s still no happy ending. The ending is very heart touching. I wouldn’t rewatch it becoz it will give me the sad vibes again. I hope there’s a sequel to it tho. but after all it’s a great drama. but i just can’t believe the amount of tears i’ve dropped on the ending :((

Loving it so far.

I can't believe people are really giving up on this drama, this drama is one of the best drama I have ever seen, I don't like romantic dramas, but this one is exception.
The storyline, Iooks perfect to me atleast. acting was perfect by all the casts, the only thing is their voices doesn't match well with their character.
The drama looks like it was produced on high budget, unlike that legend of Fei. Surprises coming after one another. I started to watch this only for Marius cheng but I loved it at the end. This drama is hella underrated, PLS WATCH THIS DRAMA

Main cast awesome, maintains the right balance of plot and romance(for me who prefers no romance, it wasnt intolerable). Love Jiang Shao (dubious douchebag in 2nd episode but after that 100/100 man.) Main couple very cute and plot has an interesting amount of twists and turns. Only thing, the younger sister has taken up the role of the awful naive ignorant 'cutesy' female protagonist that are so prominent in these dramas. She's so irritating and entitled- but the rest of the show is worth it. Costumes are gorgeous and characters easy to love. Definitely recommend.
EDIT: Okay so ep 11-12 she's honestly so much better and i can fully enjoy the drama. From brat to a honestly very lovely thoughtful person when it comes to Jiang Shao. Im very pleasantly surprised. Main couple is lagging a bit so skipping those parts but still definitely recommend.

Two sisters, whom fall in love with different men.

If you like two main female leads whom are related and tells the story of not one, but two female leads than this is definitely for you.

Story/plot: The plot was okay, their was things that could've been better, for example the ending. The ending did not make any sense what's so ever. It was even dragged out when Fu Jin Zhan (FL) went to go find Jing shao (ML) because she was bored being the empress. Also, it took long for the Fu Yu Zhan (FL) to finally marry Xue Rong (ML).

Acting/cast: This is my second drama with Aariflee as the main lead, since I had seen him in empress in china and his acting is good. So, I decided to give this drama a try. I liked that they couples were paired nicely due to their personalities. Yu Zhan and Xue Rong was both witty, so that made them a good couple. While, Jin Zhan and Jing Shao were both playful/childlike and were good at martial arts. Which is why both couples were intrigued by their partners. Furthermore, their wasn't any power imbalances or anything. Both women were strong female leads and were not weak. However, the only issue I had with Jin Zhan was she came off as annoying sometimes and Yu Zhan would constantly hide her feeling for Xue Rong numerus times.

In conclusion: this was a good drama and the first were it had two main female leads. It was very good but the ending is a complete let down for 40 episodes. However, it was good in the beginning half at the least. Would I re-watch??? Yes!

Very watchable drama - good refreshing story line not dull and de je vue

I loves the main characters, especially Zoey Meng and Aarif Rahman. They have charisma and click well
Zoey Meng's role in the drama is well portrayed as a beautiful and intelligent noble lady. She thinks of others before self and even in sorrow when she missed marrying her beloved she can put it aside to help the prince gains his rightful throne.

Never a dull moment to watch as the story unfolds.

Would love to see Zoey Meng and Aarif Rahman together in future dramas. They look great together - a very matching couple. I have become their loyal fans!
