Worth Watching!

Honestly the reviews about the drama were very negative but my mum and I loved it. Yes its long but its because they actually developed the story at the right pace and did not rush it. I read a comment where they also complained about the main actress acting but honestly there was nothing wrong with it zijin has been someone who is used to holding her pain and smiling through it all...the trauma of what she went through before she entered the palace made her like that that's why she always has the same expression. And can we talk about how handsome the male lead was in the drama, he left no crumbs.

Any way....ignore the negative reviews and watch it yourself and judge for yourself. I am very glad i watched it and I don't regret it one bit, I laughed, cried and loved the twist in the story.

I think it's one of the best dramas of 2022. I really like. I really liked the story, especially the way it was handled. I really liked the actors. Especially Wu Jin Yan. He's a very, very good player. Experienced too. It plays fluently. Of course it's not just him. All the players are very, very good, I have not seen a faltering player. The cast is well chosen. I can say they are perfect. Based on such a food event, many other subjects such as palace life, those who rise from the bottom to the top, those who cannot attract each other, jealousy, intrigues, games, fight for the throne, secret issues are also covered. It's mixed. It's set up very nicely. In the meantime, we got to know the historical Chinese dishes. We have also seen the diversity, meticulousness and selectivity of the palace cuisine. In my opinion, a lot of food was shown and it seems that the courtiers ate too much. I didn't find it normal. I think there is not that much. Disappointed..

I didn't like how the plot started in this series, it's so shallow, also the things they argue about are stupid, they kneel and beg for mercy and forgiveness in every single thing they do, WTF, it's too much, maybe it's how they behaved in that period of time, but I can't stand it, getting punished and humiliated for no reason is unfair.... and everyone is trying to win and succeed, a lot of jealousy, hateful, intrigues.. elct..

I'm disappointed how I thought this drama would be a master piece.....
It's pure slavery...

I will drop the drama.

To be fare the cinema graphics were perfect and the cooking part is great, I liked it.

For sure try first you may like the drama.
