Opposites Attract similar to ISWAK or A Love So Beautiful
Likes: The sinuous Tendo and his suppressed emotions and desires. The adorable Sakura who wears her heart on her sleeve. The dynamic between the two.Dislikes: Like with most dramas, the fainting/near death incidents are worthy of multiple eye rolls, although I get why they are in so many dramas...I just wish they can do it a bit more realistically. I mean, how many people really faint from a cold?
I'm a sucker for these opposites attract type of dramas where the ML is an intelligent nonchalant type who warms up when a bubbly bright FL enters into his life. What I really liked about this drama was that Sato Takeru and Kamishiraishi Mone really sold me on their characters, especially KM. KM really seemed like this adorable clueless girl who keeps getting herself into trouble. I mean, we've seen this kind of female character so many times, but some actresses tend to be a little over the top...a bit too dumb to be real, but I didn't feel that way so much with KM.
And Sato....he has this sultry vibe that's a bit exciting. He has this way of delivering lines that would usually be too cheesy into words that make your heart skip a beat. And his barely there restraint when it came to Sakura would just suck me in like a vortex.
If you liked ISWAK or ALSB, I would recommend checking this drama out.

Cute Story
This was such a cute Drama to watch. It short so it makes it easy to knock out in just a day or two of binge watching. Overall the story line was very cute and it gave me that sweet sweet serotonin we are all searching for. As someone who works in electrophysiology I really appreciated the accuracy of the patient illnesses and treatments. Some are a little far fetched but it was enough that I did not have to suspend by disbelief. As for the acting the actors seemed very into their parts. Although I wish the male lead's role had more sustenance to it so that he didn't seem overly stoic. Up until the last few episodes I might even go as far as to compare the role to that of Kristen Stewart's in Twilight. Often times the second hand embarrassment from how cringey the female lead was too much to bear without pausing or looking away.
I liked the music, although I'm pretty sure it was just two songs ( or maybe even one and its just the instrumental version ad the version with words and i never noticed until the last episode). Would have been nice to have more variety in the soundtrack.
Would i rewatch this?
Simple answer, yes. Thus far, there has only been one asian drama that i knew right after watching it the first time that I would rewatch it. This is not that drama. However, i would not be against rewatching it. It is not the type of show I am adamant about rewatching, but if i needed something to cheer me up or to fill the void I would have no problem putting this on. I guess in a few words it is just a comforting show.

After watching a lot of dramas with a lot of complicated twists and turns in its plot, I was looking for something light but sweet. And luckily, someone from MDL posted this on the feed and stumbled upon it. Wasn't really expecting much from this drama because 1.) not really familiar with it 2.) not familiar also with jdrama that much, i have only watched a few so far 3.) i don't know the actors 4.) well, it only has 10.5 episodes. Can't really expect a lot from that.
It started quite okay. Honestly, I thought it was gonna be another "They kissed Again" adaptation. But it was somewhat different. The more I watched, the more I got hooked. The plot was light but not too light that it gets boring for the viewers. There was also enough cliches which is my guilty pleasures in dramas especially romcoms. And what surprised me the most is that, despite the age gap of the leads, I really liked their chemistry together (just a back story, not really fan of age gaps hehe. it's more of a personal preference).
I'm really thankful that I stumbled upon this drama. Really really nice. It brightened up my week :)
I guess now unto the next drama <3

Not enough to redeem the tired plot devices
Standard innocent girl and jerk guy. Girl falls for guy and dedicates her life to becoming a nurse and finding him. She goes to a nursing school that apparently churns out incompetent nurses that are unable to fulfill even simple duties. She gets a job. Guy is a doctor there. He calls her an idiot repeatedly. She loves him more for it.Soon they are dating for reasons that are mostly unclear but basically she's nice to patients and is observant which comes in handy. Still guy appears to be in pain when he's with her and repeatedly calls her idiot.
There's a secondary romance between an incompetent guy from the same school as hero girl. It makes no sense, there's no chemistry and it adds nothing.
Girl goes away for a year which takes up five minutes, then they get married. He calls her an idiot during the wedding. Apparently its now a term of endearment though he still appears pained to even talk to her.
Yes, this is a common trope but if I didn't know better I'd say this is a satirical attempt to bring a merciful end to this archetype. But no, it's just not all that good.

A rom com
Its a sweet story of a devil doctor and hero cute nurse who tamed him.Good points: Episode length is short; acting, production are good and story flow is smooth. There are good things to learn about life from this drama. The professional difficulties of doctors and nurses are also highlighted. Its a nice tribute to health professional showing how hard they work.
Bad point: Bit childish. I dont understand that why heroine always have to go abroad to study or do something. It has become a cliché in romance dramas.
Overall, a good drama.

Need a medical drama with fluffy love then add this to your watchlist
"Koi Wa Tsuzuku Yo Doko Made Mo" starts off with the meeting of our two characters Sakura Nanase and Tendo Kairi. Sakura instantly has a crush on the brilliant and apparently friendly doctor and sets her goal to become a nurse so that she can get closer to Kairi. After 5 years of wait she meets cardiologist Tendo Kairi. But his personality changed, it is way different, he's known as 'Devil' in the whole hospital. This was shocking for Sakura. But Sakura Nanase actively pursues Kairi. The medical incidents provide a slice of life. Although the secondhand embarrassment upsets me little bit but lessenes as the story progressed. The co workers provide a friendly environment in the hospital. The interactions with the patients were satisfactory. You'll keep smiling through the journey of icy cold devil falling in love with our 'warrior'. The sweetness will make your tooth ache. The supporting cast did a decent job. Tendo Ryuko leaves a mark with her quirky character. Kisugi Koichi ,another cardiologist although had a crush on Sakura helped her throughout. You can witness how Kairi and Sakura finally falls in love and reciprocates afterwards. After stressful or unsatisfying dramas refresh yourself by watching this sweet, fluffy romantic medical dorama.

If you want romance with the mix of medical contents, this is one of the best out there!
I cannot believe how good this drama is! I just randomly watched this because it was trending in facebook and because I am a student nurse. Also, I was a sucker of Mischievous Kiss, It Started With a Kiss, and Playful Kiss, I was told that they were somehow similar to this one. And yes, similar to the part where in the female lead pursue the male lead. But this is in depth when it comes to medical contents. I learn a lot, as a nursing student. All medical dramas focused on doctors alone, but what I love most in this one is that they also focused on nurses. And how they conveyed that nurses does not work FOR doctors but nurses work WITH doctors.Sato Takeru is the best! He suit the character. The female lead also. They have chemistry! So much kilig with this one!
It was so good that I finished watching it in one sitting. This is highly recommended!

The acting I have to say was exceptional. Parts where it needed to be serious was serious, parts that was supposed to be emotional made me cry and most importantly...........parts that were supposed to be cringe were cringe as heck but was the type of cringe that made me want to keep watching. The cringe that made me jump up and squeal like crazy. Luved that feeling so much :) Which is one of the main reasons I enjoyed this drama more than other japanese dramas bc other ones are way out of my level of cringe that I can't even watch it lmao. haaaahhah..........
The highlights were definitely the main leads. Nananse.......she honestly suited this role so well. A bubbly and kind nurse who falls for a cold devil, but kindhearted doctor. HAHAAHAH..........but they match each other so well. Tendo honestly nailed his role. I felt like he controlled the whole vibe of the drama. OMG.....especially the cringe scenes........he somehow makes it so......idk how to describe it (this is mainly bc of his incredibly sexy glare...hahaha). If I was to say it........it would be "spicy cringe". A cringe where you jump all over the place, squeal and scream but just wanna keep watching just like when you eat something deliciously spicy. Hahaha.........anyways. love this drama. definitely worth the watch #covoid19times
