Where they diverge is in the area of personal love life and its complexity for anyone over the age of 40+. DA has mature romance scenes and story-line of yearning love. Both expose the competing medical goals: $$ or patients ~

Both protagonists are strong and skilled doctors who go against the rules of the hospital to save patients. There are a lot of people against them.
