He is so fairy. The acting of all casts are great. The childhood of 2 main characters are revealed in the episode and poor Shi Ying has bad step-mom. Don’t know why she hates him and has hostility on him that much

How it all begin

Great setup of the storyline, the younger cast had a great introductory set but I can sense that we are onto an epic story.

Wow!! the entrance of Shi Ying!Xiao Zhan is really like an immortal god!!The CGI is sooo good!! Just from the 1st episode, you will be hooked in the story because it's not they typical xian xia storyline. It's refreshing to see.

I am impressed with graphics of the sand monster, looks good so far. Shi Ying looks like a celestial being with his jade umbrella.

Flower Power

It starts quite charmingly with interesting young characters. The emperor is a nasty piece of work who is quick to punish. Sadly the female lead grows up too quickly and seems to have had a personality transplant along the line.

I was impressed from the first moment.So vivid. The landscape seems from the heavens…Exciting from the first time-the mirror girl was very beautiful.I love the scene of horse riding of the heroine-red exquisitely decorated outfit.Amazing scene of Shi Ying first encounter—-stunning!

Stunning start!

I love the beautiful desert scene, and the writers know what they are doing because I greatly disliked the bad gal as I should. The set up is fast, but with only 40 eps it is understandable. I also can't wait to get to the real stuff.

Great beginning! I found the special effects very very well done. The child actors are good and cute! The pace is fast and the story is captivating.

A visual feast

I am not big on Xianxia.But this pilot episode is solid.A lot of petty humans are dissing the female lead in the comments section here and if the looks of the lead matters to you because you think you are better-looking then happy gloating. Just know that you are being judged for your shallow principles.Xiao Zhan looks ethereal here. The child actors who play the main leads are also very excellent. I binged all 4 episodes in one night.

Sweet meet cute!

Shi Ying and Ren Min meet in the episode and establish great atmosphere. Shi Ying floating down with his umbrella is so enchanting.

Strong first episode.

This is an episode that sets up the rest of the series. You will see the two characters as children… in a setting where looks are deceiving. Their first encounter sets up their fate. It’s kind of amazing.
