Very similar in the topic discussed - love or money
- Both leads are willing to let go of their fortune for love
- Both parents of the the leads disprove of their relationship
- The Heirs doesn't have the betrayal aspect of the story
- Both female leads reject the money offered by the parents of the male leads - they have a similar personality, both kind-hearted
- The Heirs is more fluff less dark

Both show the dynamic between rich and poor. The heirs has Kim Tan the arrogant male lead who's kinda mysterious, he has a poor gf aka the FL. Here we have a poor male lead with a secret and his rich female lead. Romance, high school, classism, bullying. Mix The Heirs and Elite and you got Hierarchy.
Okay, so the plot obviously varies. But, in short, I find them similar because of the love triangle. And, how the two male leads have constant fights for the female lead. The second lead in Extraordinary you will often remind you of Choi Young Do (after like 6-7 episodes, till the plot unfolds layer by layer), so, the second lead syndrome is real, bro.
Gives off a similar vibe.
One thing you should know is that Extraordinary You is low-key a satire of typical Korean Romantic comedies, like, let's say Boys over flowers, or The Heirs itself. Yet, as the story proceeds, you start seeing SOME of the cliché Rom-com stuff (like a love triangle and etc) blossom among the main characters of the show (not the comic in the show), which is ironic.

I know that those two dramas have very different plots but there's still something similar about them: the main female character because they both are nice girls interested just in work (they have many jobs) and not in romantic life (they don't really show their true feelings) also they both have a family member with disabilities (Eun Sang's mother/ Eun Sung's brother) and, what a coincidence, their names sound similar. ^^
