A sweet yet frustrating story

After watching this drama, I am interested in the actor, his emotion here is so good in expressing the feeling the character carried.
The story itself is so fascinating. There are several Chinese dramas with the same concept, but, this story really makes you frustrated. It looks like there is no way to change fate even you came back to the past and change the past again and again. What makes me upset about this drama is the ending. How come is the lead comes back like that without an explanation about what really happened in the past? After all that frustrating sacrifices? I really hope there is an extra episode or what to that.

FINDING THIS GEM MADE MY 2022.

found this drama on tiktok, found that the drama is quite interesting and fresh from the small clip which is why I went to watch it.
usually I don't make an effort to write reviews for dramas bec its so troublesome and I often forget my password but I went to the extent of resetting my password just to get my thoughts out here. I have a HUGE post drama depression after finishing the series in one shot haha less than a day. I even fucked up my sleep schedule just to watch it.

not the typical Chinese school romance drama. was expecting the typical plot but the plot twists always got me on my edge. the romantic scenes were not to cringe and forced. I really liked that the female lead is independent but also shows her weakness in front of the ML ( but not in a cringe way!) so that he can protect her. usually female leads are always portrayed as weaklings that just need a lot of help and attention , it gets really cringe and I will end up disliking the drama but the romance here is ?❤️ to die for. No words need to be said, they did not confess early on in the drama but their love can be seen through their actions and interactions with one another which I really really appreciate. i think this drama is good for people who hate cringe scenes. idk why but I feel that this drama is sooo underrated it makes me so sad.. when I searched for best cdrama online 2022, this did not appear on the list. EASILY TOP among the cdramas I watched. almost as good as 暗格里的秘密.

in2022, I lowkey lost hope in crdramas because the typical and popular ones I saw did not peaked my interest. but this one did. I will rewatch it again and again.

BEST ML AND FL ❤️❤️❤️❤️ can rly see their character development throughout the series

also I cried a lot throughout the series I feel like it rly tugged my heart, I could not get over how it ended w 24 short eps. rly excited for the movie tho

Magnificent love story, to discover if you are not afraid to cry

A beautiful (and quite painfull) drama, moving, in a time travel-school setting.

The actors are remarkable (really!! I have become a die-hard fan of Qu Chu Xiao (ML) and Zhang Jia Ning (FL) whom I discovered in this series), but the secondary actors are also all very talented .

The story is well written, intriguing, mysterious, tragically romantic. The production, lively, without downtime, with magnificent images, it maintains the suspense, heightens the emotions.
The OSTs are also very effective and beautiful.

My only downside for this great series, the too hasty ending: the viewer who suffered with Lin Bei Xing for so many episodes, who loves Zhang Wan Sen so much, dreams of seeing them reunited and happy. The end suggests it, but it's still a little frustrating after so much suffering and so much hope.

It's a moving series, whose characters will be remembered for a long time...

Très beau (et assez painfull) drama, émouvant, dans un cadre Time travel-scolaire.

Les acteurs sont remarquables (vraiment !! je suis devenue une die-hard fan de Qu Chu Xiao (ML) et de Zhang Jia Ning (FL) que j'ai découvert dans cette série), mais les acteurs secondaires sont également tous très talentueux.

L'histoire est bien écrite, intrigante, mystérieuse, tragiquement romantique. La réalisation, vive, sans temps mort, avec des images magnifiques, elle soutient le suspens, avive les émotions. Les OST sont également très efficaces et belles.

Mon seul bémol pour cette série géniale, la fin trop hâtive : le spectateur qui a souffert avec Lin Bei Xing pendant tant d'épisodes, qui aime tellement Zhang Wan Sen, rêve de les voir réunis et heureux. La fin le laisse supposer, mais cela reste un peu frustrant après tant de souffrance et tant d'espoir.

C'est une série émouvante, dont les personnages resteront dans les mémoires longtemps...

You'll never regret watching this... <3

Accidently found this in the recommendation list of Someday or One Day drama. This one is time travel as well but a bit different taste than Xiang Jian Ni. I fell head over heel for Qu Chu Xiao in this drama. I first noticed him in Bloody Romance. He rarely smile there but in here, the shy version of Qu Chu Xiao is just so O.M.G!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I did watch Wandering Earth for second time earlier this drama because of Three Body effect. I admire his acting in that movie as well. Too bad he's not in Wandering Earth 2.

Okay, let's get back to the drama. The time travel plot is a bit unimpressed for me. But main part of the story is not about time-travel. So, it's still ok. The real part that stole my heart is Qu Chu Xiao's smile, and of cuz the romance between main leads and also their friendships. Everyone plays the main roles as their part of the story. That's one of the fact that I love about this drama too.

The bad point of this drama is just time-travel plot. I'm totally unimpressed with that one. Well as I say above, since this is not that important you can over watch it.

The good points are sweet love between 2 main leads. And the friendships between all the young casts. It's so beautiful. And another fact that cannot left out in good point list is the Sound Track of this drama. As for me, I love every single track of this drama. Still repeat and listening to this day. And the last one is of cuz QU CHU XIAO's smile. O.M.G I still can't get this out of my mind yet. Ha ha ha. Just kidding. ^^


For overall, I might says you'll never regret watching this drama.

Such a tremendous feeling when watching this lovely series.

Start this drama after a long hiatus, and it is worth it. Binge this drama (24 episodes) within 2 days.

I must say that this drama overall is so good. Love the characters development. Love the storyline. Love the cinematography. OST is a bonus point. Although 2022 just started a month ago, I must say that this drama is added to my top 3.

I just love both leads. From my point of view, Bei Xing and Wan Sen characters developed well. From clingy girl to someone you can rely on. From shy boy to someone that can express himself and protect his girl. Loving their relationship. Oh yes, "I like you" will be a meaningful phrase for me after watching this series. Will appreciate the phrase, too valuable.

Great Casting!

When I started the drama, I thought it was going to be a light rom-com, this is not. It’s a melodrama with some light tones here and there. With that said, this was an unexpected drama for me. I love the overall message of the drama and the plot was different for me. I’ve seen a few dramas where you re-live the day over and over, but this one seem to have a hidden message.

The casting was REALLY good. I’m so surprised the cast was a little older. The FL, Jia Ning
is 33 and the ML is Chu Xiao is 27 which is so refreshing! C dramas are notorious for casting super young, and super pretty actors. I believe by casting older actors, it really made a difference in chemistry between the two leads and they look young regardless.

The soundtrack is really good with catching tunes. That was a surprise for me. I really enjoy the emotional ballad and it heighten my watching experience.

The drama is about the FL trying to save the ML from being killed. She doesn’t know why or when, but she knows when she fails, she resets and the whole process begins again.

There are two factors that go into the drama, the time travel and the resetting of time. I enjoyed the first half of the drama, because that is the light hearted moments. It’s when the FL is very protective of the ML and she kind of follows him around. I laughed and thought it was SUPER cute. I also loved the way Chu Xiao played his role, he was very adorable and easy to watch.

The mysterious element for me was something I was half hearted into. I was curious to when and why he would die, but every time the story would reset, I would think, oh no, what does the FL have to do now to save him? It got a little trying at times. Some people will love this because it builds up the story and it’s a little melodramatic.

Not everything is what it seems and so that was interesting too. You never know what the FL will learn every time she resets and during the whole process, she forms this bond with the ML, which is the perfect romantic element I loved watching.

Overall, it’s very moving drama, not as light-hearted as I wanted, but it does make you somewhat emotional in a good way.

Altered my brain Chemistry.

I finished watching this a week ago, and not a second has gone by where I haven't thought about this show. This show has INFILTRATED my regularly scheduled daydreams because it is so perfect. All I want is a world where Wan Sen and Bei Xing are happy. I want nothing else in life. This is the con of open endings. I can not WAIT for the movie to come out because I need to know if Bei Xing succeeded.

The show continues to shine outside of our main couple as Bei Xing and Wan Sen both manage to create wholesome friendships with the other characters. Gao Ge, Chao Yang, and Mai zi are amazing support characters, and I love how each of them manages to find their way back to each other even in the original timeline. I think what makes this drama even more satisfying is that Bei Xing realizes her worth outside of Zhan Yu and how the drama even takes it further to where Zhan Yu begins to chase her. Nothing has been as satisfying as watching him soften up to Bei XIng and pine for her the way she pined for him originally. I also love that his affection for her wasn't just jealousy or possession, it was true admiration and affection for Bei Xing.

Wan Sen's character is also just everything. The character writing was so beautiful. In every timeline, all he cared about was Bei Xing, and being her guardian angel. I'm so glad Bei Xing came to love him and cherish him... I just hop the movie makes answers reveals the answers I so desperately seek.

Well thought time slip romance

So okay. It has been a challenge to find a decent drama after watching Happiness kdrama.
And this one, what a surprise! Very decent indeed.

My favorites time-slip romance school has always been Someday Or One Day. However, this is has now been a dearest.

Angst and emotions from the cast delivered throughout their character like folk tales. Everyone standout most astoundingly. The Cinematography sparkled like gem and nothing is exaggerated out of the proportion. Even the OST fit each frame which deepens the shades of emotions in each scenes.

The story is not just about how Lin Bei Xing found her calling of this time travel bliss. It is also about how she was able to gamble it all at a cost, of her already broken heart. Sad Boy Zhang Wan Sen, is one to tell his tale. His dynamic was too suppressed but felt sweet and romantics. Both characters are oozing with this new star crossed lover universe that defying gravity. How they stare, spoke, and gesture at each other are organically mesmerizing.

Each episode has unique ideas. And it feels like watching series instead of a continuing story. Time slip is tough topics because it clashes fantasies. This drama may took the science fiction particles well-thought.

Lin Bei Xing character is fast thinking and never hesitated. She is brave and yet regretful once she act out by the spurs of the moment. That is kind of what heroin is made these days. Her poker face is just like a snowpiercer stabbing young Zhang Wan Sen affections towards her.

This is definitely different and very colorful drama. Hopefully others would get the excitement too.

One of my favorite drama!!!

I like how the story is so much interesting and not really easy to guess unlike other typical chinese drama. The background music/ost also always matches the scene it make me feel more attached into the drama scene. This drama has a lot of funny scene, but not lack of sad scene... i didn't expect it to have so many sad and depressing scene when i first watch the trailer. I thought it would be just a cute rom com drama. But this one is kinda different, and the actors acting is just perfect!!! they really show their emotion so well in each scene! I highly recommend this drama! I wish there could be another seasonㅠㅠ

I am not a big fan of time travel dramas but this one surprised me. Lin Bei Xing inexplicably travels back in time after breaking up with her fiancé. Thinking that this was her chance for a re-do, she jumps at the opportunity to alter her future fate so that she will end up with Zhan Yu. Coincidentally, Bei Xing was brought back into an alternate universe where a stranger dies by apparent suicide. Each instance of her time travel seems to end at this point and after subsequent visit back to the past or alternate universe, Bei Xing gets to know that stranger before his death.

Unbeknownst to Bei Xing, the stranger is a schoolmate of hers, Wan Sen, who has been in love with her for ages, but was too timid to approach her and can only look at her from afar. Bei Xing does not realize that Wan Sen has been by her side, protecting her while she was oblivious with her obsession with Zhan Yu. This drama is about letting go of the past, and you cannot change the future by spending your time wallowing in regrets. This show is bittersweet and give poignant reminders that we must live life to the fullest before it's too late.

Time travel story where a man completely written by a woman

I was completely blind when i first watched this drama. I didn't know the genre, casts, and i even haven't read the blurb. When i watched the first episode i feel like want to drop it because of the FL's behavior, just by the half of the first episode i learnt that this drama told about time travel and it was holding me to keep watching the drama, oh and also because i could see that there's development in FL's behavior. And i have no regret finishing the drama.

Technically, the story wasn't perfect. The story has many things unexplained, like who was actually made the FL went to the parallel universe, why at some points when the FL deleted the messages she couldn't go to the past, or the condition of ZWS in the main universe. Oh and i also felt a bit draggy when the drama went to the point where the characters graduated, but it's really just for a brief moment and when i finished watched the drama i could figure out that the moment represented a calm before the storm, the bridging of the story to meet the real conflict. For me, the overall story was still really good, beautiful, and made me cry my eyes out:).

I love the tone of the drama. The editing and visuals that this drama displayed were really pretty. The OSTs also are really pleasing to hear. And the acting of the casts were really good. i could hardly felt the cringe moments throughout the drama. some people said that they can't really tell the differences between the present day and the past because the obvious thing that drama showed to differentiate the past and present was the phone , but i didn't find that disturbing (it might be because i was already really hook up to the story:)).

P.s. it's been a long time since i felt really afraid to watch the last few episodes of a drama.

A must watch drama… Super highly recommended

I do not have much expectation to begin with when i came through the title of this drama and also the list of the actors/actresses. However, the storyline and the acting of the ML and FL blown me up. If you have watch the Taiwanese drama SOMEDAY OR ONE DAY, then you will definitely like this drama too.

I’m surprised that this drama have such Low viewing rate.

Lin Bei Xing, an "experienced girl" who is about to enter her 30s, missed out on achieving her dream of love as her boyfriend, Zhan Yu, breaks the contract, and her life and work have become a mess. However, not sure if this is God playing tricks on her, Lin Bei Xing returned to the age of eighteen. The third year of high school is a nightmare, but Lin Bei Xing decided to retake the college entrance examination and get rid of Zhan Yu, to live anew for herself. However, Lin Bei Xing's sweet dream was dashed by a boy called Zhang Wan Sen. The accidental encounter of Zhang Wan Sen after the college entrance examination became the switch to end Lin Bei Xing's time and space journey.
