this is the greatest bl I've watched so far.

I recommend this bl series for you to watch, its my favorite bl and my comfort series, every episodes made me cry I love Mark giving Vee mixed signals every episodes, if only there's an awarding and the title named “BL Series With The Greatest Story Line” I'm going to vote this, the actors deserves to be famous, every character I saw in this series never made me disappointed, the director is wild, I really love this bl, I never saw a bl series with this kind of acting and story line, I love this series so much, I burst out of tears when I watched the last episode

A well written and acted series showcasing angst

I have mixed feelings about this show. There are some parts that are extremely well directed and acted and there are some that appear misplaced in the large scheme of things.

Let me start by saying that I have not seen the 4-episode original series and went through this with a fresh mind. The story is nothing new and suffers from the use of same old tropes that you see in many other BLs based on university students. But there is some enjoyment to be had because of the basic premise of the show. Mark is heart-broken due to being rejected by Bar and drinks excessively to cope with his sorrow. Vee taking pity on his state takes him home just for a drunken Mark to mistake him for Bar. Post this, Vee starts pursuing Mark who tries to keep his distance since Vee is already in a relationship.

The series moves at a constant pace where nothing seems rushed and enough time is spent on showing the heart-broken Mark, the conflicting emotions of Vee, Mark being hopeful only to have it shattered time and again. You are glued to your screen to take in all the complex emotions rising out of complicated situations. The relationship between Mark and Vee is well developed and when we reach the mandatory third-act break-up you can feel the despair of the characters. All this is possible thanks to the great acting by the 2 main leads. They look convincing in all their scenes together and there is great chemistry.

As I stated earlier, the story does suffer from age-old tropes used countless number of times on other shows that you wish and pray for something new and different. The same old misunderstanding caused by characters witnessing just a part and coming to a different conclusion just to completely shut themselves from hearing any explanations. It’s like, why have a conversation to sort things out when I can shut myself and cry endlessly in a dark room. Jealousy being a hindrance to developing relationships further only to be tossed out in the next few minutes. But what lead me scratching my head in confusion was episode 9 where we have a conflict between Vee and a completely new character. A good 30+ minutes is spent in showing something that has no bearing on the overall story and feels like a filler to increase the show's runtime.

In conclusion if you don’t mind the tropes, this series is binge-worthy where the acting of the main leads and the pure emotions they show will not disappoint.

Sympa et bien joué, mieux que la première version

Love Mechanics est le reboot en 10 épisodes de la mini-série "En of Love : Love Mechanics", elle-même série dérivée prenant place dans le même univers de "En of Love : Tossara". Les critiques étaient très négatives sur Tossara, donc c'est la seule série de l'anthologie En of Love que je n'avais pas vue, mais j'avais trouvé les deux autres plutôt sympas au vu du court format, à défaut de voler très haut.

Pour l'instant Love Mechanics, qui était donc une "side story", semble être le seul reboot tourné (à voir si cela évolue dans les prochains mois). L'histoire tourne autour de deux personnages secondaires de Tossara, Vee et Mark. Ces deux-là sont ennemis car Vee fait tout pour empêcher Mark de traîner sa face d'amoureux transi devant son ami Bar (le protagoniste de Tossara), qui est en couple depuis la fin de la première saison. Alors qu'ils sont tous deux saouls, ils couchent ensemble et c'est le démarrage de leur romance.

Les deux acteurs sont à l'aise, crédibles, ils jouent de manière relativement naturelle et juste. Les personnages évitent tout manichéisme, par exemple la petite amie de Vee n'est pas décrite comme une evil bitch qu'on a envie de claquer, au contraire elle est dépeinte de façon réaliste et sensible. Ensuite, cette romance étant plus conséquente que sa version d'origine, elle a davantage le temps de se développer, abordant différents stades d'une relation et les problèmes que l'on peut rencontrer, sans les édulcorer : la confiance, l'adultère (Vee étant déjà en couple depuis 3 ans avec une autre étudiante au début de l'histoire) etc...., tout ceci de façon assez concrète. D'ailleurs, contrairement à de nombreux BL, l'intrigue ne fait pas disparaître comme par magie l'homophobie ambiante et l'importance de l'acceptation familiale. En outre, l'histoire est suffisamment bien construite pour qu'on n'ait nul besoin de se taper les En of Love pour tout comprendre. La romance entre Vee et Mark est la seule réellement développée dans cette série (bien sûr le couple formé par Bar et Tossakan est montré, mais ils font davantage partie du décor pour donner un cadre de compréhension à Love Mechanics, puisque c'est à cause d'eux - ou grâce à eux - que Mark finit dans le lit de Vee), donc l'histoire ne s'éparpille pas dans tous les sens et évite les longueurs inutiles. Dix épisodes suffisent donc à nous raconter cette intrigue, ce qui pour moi était paradoxalement une bonne chose et une mauvaise chose en même temps. Je m'explique : autant on arrive assez vite au bout du drama, il n'y a pas vraiment de temps mort et il se passe toujours quelque chose de logique dans la mesure où le scénario se concentre sur le développement de leur romance et des obstacles qu'ils rencontrent, autant j'ai trouvé que 10 épisodes étaient un poil trop longs... En ce qui me concerne, je ne suis pas très intéressée par les hauts et les bas d'une relation. Je préfère largement les histoires qui se concentrent sur "l'avant", la tension amoureuse qui aboutit à la concrétisation et à leur prise de conscience que les sentiments sont mutuels. Cela m'a donc assez vite lassée de visionner leurs rapprochements et leurs ruptures successives, et pour en rajouter une couche j'ai trouvé que Mark était assez dur et antipathique à certains moments du drama (sans vouloir spoiler, lors d'un malentendu il va se montrer un peu trop rancunier envers Vee qui a pourtant des circonstances atténuantes dans ce cas précis). Mais ces derniers points relèvent principalement de goûts et de préférences personnelles, et les spectateurs qui s'intéressent aux difficultés d'une histoire d'amour, même quand les personnages sont clairs sur leurs sentiments, apprécieront très certainement ce BL.

En conclusion, c'était une bonne idée de remanier l'histoire d'origine et de prendre le temps de la développer. Pour ma part elle est vite oubliable, parce que je me suis un peu ennuyée à partir du 8ème épisode, mais c'est vraiment personnel et quoi qu'il en soit, ça n'enlève rien au jeu naturel des acteurs, leurs personnages sont attachants, leur romance est crédible, l'intrigue est construite intelligemment. Elle se concentre sur leur relation, du coup elle se développe de manière logique sans nous ennuyer avec des digressions inutiles. Donc même si c'est loin d'être un coup de cœur pour moi, objectivement cela reste une bonne série et je me demande ce que pourrait donner une nouvelle version de la romance de Nuea (un perso secondaire qui trouve lui aussi son bonheur dans le 3ème opus de "En of Love"). Et bien qu'elle aurait mérité d'être un chouïa plus courte puisqu'on s'intéresse uniquement à Vee et Mark, elle reste quand même agréable et sympathique à suivre.

Parecia impossível dar certo, mas deu muito certo.

Assisti aos três arcos de "En of love", confesso que o que mais gostei foi Love mechanics, e acredito que a maioria das pessoas também, visto que foi o único arco a ter uma série estendida.
Quando soube que o Studio Wabi Sabi vendeu os direitos da série para a WeTV, confesso que não entendi a lógica de gravar uma série onde seria contada a mesma história, com os mesmos atores, apenas com mais eps, que ao meu ver seriam apenas para encher linguiça. Quebrei a cara!

Primeiro gostaria de falar do roteiro, ou melhor, das minhas críticas ao roteiro. Existem duas cenas que me chamaram atenção, pois tinham acontecido de forma muito diferente na versão anterior, que são a cena do flagra que Mark dá em Vee e Ploy se beijando e a cena do aparecimento do ex de Marc. Ao meu ver isso foi um furo, mas... Sigamos.

A série tem vários clichês, e por algum motivo o roteiro foi tão bem produzido que mesmo diante dos erros dos personagens eu não pude odiá-los, o máximo que aconteceu foi eu torcer para que a pessoa mudasse a conduta, mas amando a atuação.

Algumas situações aconteceram de forma muito errada... Não tenho como passar pano. Quando Mark ficou com Vee a primeira vez, ele traiu Ploy. Ok, ele estava sendo traído, mas não sabia disso, nesse caso, a traição foi uma grave falha de caráter dele. Na mesma situação Marc não tinha condições de consentir absolutamente nada, nem mesmo reconhecia quem estava ao seu lado, e mesmo partindo dele a intenção, não era correto Vee transar com ele nessas condições por motivos óbvios.
Sobre a traição de Ploy... Foi a que mais me revoltou. Entendi o deslumbre dela por uma vida de luxo, mas é imperdoável ela simplesmente não ter terminado com Vee, aliás, a impressão que passou, foi que se Vee não tivesse descoberto a traição ela manteria os dois relacionamentos na maior cara de pau. O fato dela ter sofrido violência não apaga o erro dela.

Realmente acredito no amor que Vee sentia por Ploy. Mas o fato dele tê-la perdoado não o faz um cara legal, e sim um idiota, que foi traído e exposto a todos e insistiu em uma relação de amizade com a ex sem perceber que isso machucava Mark. Da mesma forma Mark amou Bar de forma intensa, mas em determinado momento percebeu que deveria recuar, e teve dignidade para tal.

Então, como disse inicialmente, o primeiro arco teve 4 eps, imaginei que os outros 6 incluídos seriam apenas para encher linguiça, mas quebrei a cara de novo. Fomos apresentados às famílias dos dois, e pudemos ver as diferenças, não apenas o abismo financeiro que os afastava, mas o abismo de valores. Os pais de Mark não eram ruins, ao contrário.... Eles conheciam a pobreza, e queriam apenas proteger seu filho de uma vida de privações que eles já conheciam. Talvez tenham feito isso da forma errada, mas com certeza voltaram a si. A família de Vee, apesar de humilde, acolheu o relacionamento dos dois sem maiores dramas. Como não amá-los?

Sobre os amigos de Vee, nada muito diferente da primeira temporada, mas seria muito justo que Nuea tivesse terminado acompanhando de seu par em "This is love story", afinal ele foi um fofo durante a série toda, e em troca a única coisa que recebeu foi ficar sozinho.

Sobre ost e fotografia: perfeição define.

Sobre atuação: incrível! Cada um dos atores foi feito para o papel que interpretou, e aplausos para a atuação de Yin Ana e War Wanarat, principalmente War. As emoções que eles conseguiram transmitir foram muito fortes, chorei junto com o Mark diversas vezes, como o War é expressivo, tem olhos que conseguem penetrar nossa alma e nos inserir qualquer emoção. Ele nos causa reações emocionantes.

Amo essa série, 10/10 apesar dos pequenos furos, verei ainda muitas vezes e super recomendo.

Frustrating conflicts but interesting relationship

The amount of BLs that begin with a drunken/mistaken hookup only for one of them to fall in love is a little alarming. Vee, who has a girlfriend, hooks up with Mark, who is too drunk to recognize who Vee is. Bad start.

The building of the relationship is actually pretty good in this one though, and I enjoyed it for the most part. The chemistry between the actors is great. Unfortunately, the one major conflict throughout the entire series is the conflict presented in the first episode: Vee has a girlfriend. But somehow, Mark seems to be the only one that cares about this?

I feel like this would have been better as an 8 episode series, where they could have resolved some conflicts earlier and let them be happy for a little while. It got repetitive and frustrating after awhile. Definitely an enjoyable watch, but I feel like if I was watching this weekly as it aired I would've been frustrated enough to drop it.

Я люблю Вара. На этом было бы достаточно в моем случае, но продолжим.
С "Любовь инженеров" я реально влюбилась в игру Вара. И с страницы агентства, я узнала, что будет продолжение, в виде истории пары Ви и Марка отдельно. Ждала неистово. В промежутке появился лак "Лучшая история", где многие как и я ждут продолжения, так как закончилось явно с огромным намеком на будущее. И да, я ждут какая кара постигнет деву.
И вот дождалась. В принципе, кто смотрел инженеров, тот знает немного сюжет этой пары. И казалось бы должен быть повтор, просто более расширенный, но при просмотре вышло все иначе. Да, много сцен, что мы уже видели, но много моментов сыграно по новому. досмотрела. Посмотрела 3 спешла с урезанными моментами из серий, почитала рецензии и вот я здесь. Скорее всего будут сполеры... К сожалению.
Отличие от инженеров, этот лак "дышит" психологией. Читала чей-то комм, что "ой да ладно, после одного перепихона сразу любовь" . Ну я бы так не сказала. Насчет Марка, а вот Ви - да. Для начала, у Ви нет опыта в любви и есть только одна девушка, которая только тогда с ним когда удобно ей, и отношения уже видно, что сошли на нет, только:
- я не готова говорить со всеми почему расстались и как же так я буду одна, ведь тут до жути удобный человек. Надо иметь по полной.
Так вот Ви, впервые почувствовал нежность, тепло и наслаждение от отношений. В ту самую ночь, впервые от кому то нужен и любим. Плюс образ Ви. Этот самый простой парень, хороший и добрый, который всех защищает и поддерживает.
И так сюжет, герои и психология...
Марк -Маса, мы только в конце начнем понимать его поведение "возьмите уж кто-нибудь меня". Как Вар играет, думаю не стоит про это говорить, все всё видели. Его игра лицом, это потрясающе. Веришь каждому взмаху его ресниц. Ему не надо даже слов, он все сыграет лицом. Марк - ребенок, который пытается быть взрослым, чтобы доказать отцу, что вдали и без поддержки - он выживет и будет счастлив. Отец даже грубя, пытается объяснить и наставить сына, получается плохо, так как агрессивно и просто не умеет правильно донести информацию Кажется холодным, но давайте вспомним концовку: почему папа поставил такой смайл и при этом улыбался тихо радуясь за сына? Понимаете о чем я?
Ви. Ин. Как вырос актер в актерской игре. Я чувствовала боль, когда Марк "ставил его на место". А когда овца Плой делала выбор и рассказывала почему изменяла, вы видели его глаза? Ви наивен, а еще у него огромная чувство вины из-за бедности. Он Отказывается понимать, что дело не в богатстве и что он при таких условиях вырос сам и учится в хорошем университете. Он везде и во всем чувствует свою вину - я не справился, я не смогу, так как у меня нет денег. Ещё он слишком ответственный.
Ива. Ива конечно прекрасна, но порой я ее не понимала.
Плой. О май Гад...Вот тут мой мозг покинул территорию моего черепа. Про таких я говорю: и рыбку съесть и сковороду :бип: не помыть. Если в Инженерах, вообще было непонятно с чего Ви повелся на поцелуй уже любя Марка, то тут нам раскрыли тайну, но Плой не вызывала положительных эмоций от слова совсем. Лживая, лицемерная эгоистка, манипулятор.
любимым отдушиной стал на удивление Бар. Гот мало был в кадре, но это было великолепно в плане дружбы, адекватности, взаимовыручки и поддержки. Такого друга я желаю каждому.
Сценаристу, отдельное спасибо, что впихивал пару за парой, и теперь сидишь и думаешь - я слабо по каждой отдельный лак? Ну давайте, убейте нас. Ведь тут явно прослеживалось образование еще, как минимум, три пары.
Прекрасный лакорн. Пропитан не просто историей, а жизнью. Это часть реальности многих. Чтобы подумать. Остановиться и подумать.. Отличный актерский каст, игра старшего поколения безупречна. Сюжет жизненный. Показаны разные уголки Таиланда с их условиями. Я благодарна всем и каждому, кто работал над этим проектом. Вы заставили на многое посмотреть иначе. Лишний раз подойти в близким и поговорить, говорить - это безумно важно. Быть верным себе. Счастье в мелочах.
Спасибо всем кто дочитал это полотно. Я просто под глубоким впечатлением от лакорна. Как красиво и мудро показать жизнь без психолога, надо уметь.

Stupid heart wants what it wants

I tried to watch the short version a while ago but I couldn't get through the first episode. I somehow didn't like anything about that drama. This comes out and I completely ignore it with the intention to never watch it and that's the reason I watched it.

I thought I would hate watch it but I was so wrong.

There are many messed up things with this drama. The beginning, the cheating, the bets, Vee being hurt by Ploy cheating when he cheated himself, I could go into details but I won't.

So why did I give it a high rating?

I enjoyed the mess. It was awesome.
Vee is my favorite character and I loved seeing him suffer.

Two of my favorite scenes are:
1. Ploy hugging Vee at the balcony begging him not to leave her, Vee looks towards Marks balcony and Mark just stands there watching them. That's when Vee started crying hard.
That scene lives in my mind rent free.
2. Ton comes to ask Ploy to be together again, Vee leaves them and goes to the balcony, turns towards Marks balcony only to see Nuea and Mark smiling, turns towards the door, Ploy and Ton are hugging.
Karma really said it's my time to shine.

Vee definitely suffered his share of pain for everything he did to Mark.

Mark took his revenge but in the process he hurt himself too. It starts to get obvious he loves Vee too much.

I hate cheating but the story wouldn't be so spicy without it.

The angst was so good and then the sweet moments were even better because you know what they had to go through to get there.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who likes very dramatic and messy dramas and can look past all the red flags.
Put the red glasses on and enjoy.

Angst, misunderstandings gallore but not a bad show

Too many dumb misunderstandings, petty drama, fighting over stupid reasons, out of place jealousy/making partner jealous to ''test'' them, etc etc, but it wasn't that bad.
Likely won't rewatch myself, but if I had to rewatch it I wouldn't be mad either. For people that like this show, I can get the appeal, but I hate angst and petty drama myself.

One thing that annoyed me is how everyone keep referring to Mark as if he was as trophy to be won and not a person. Granted he didn't even react to it, so hopefully it was an inaccurate translation issue.
Also the creepy possessive flirting by everyone that pursued Mark rubbed me the wrong way. Other stuff too bothered me, but not writing those.

Some good and funny scenes too, so balanced it out enough for me.

But I'd recommend this show if you like angst and melodramas. (so I'd rate it about 8/10 for a melodrama)

BL Enemies-to-lovers, a lot of angst and quite a bit of steamy and cute moments! Truly enjoyable!

The story is classic in terms of plot but manages to stay truly entertaining all along its 10 episodes. It is not innovative "per se" but it will provide you all the feels, oscillating between angsty and cute moments. Some narrative arcs are slightly less inspired, and the humour is a bit of a miss in some scenes, but those minors flaws should not prevent you to enjoy the ride!

War Wanarat Ratsameerat playing Mark was astonishing in his role. He is such a good actor, emoting so well that I was fascinated by his candid performance. His pairing with Yin Anan Wong (playing Vee) was convincing...but I think War would have chemistry with anyone as he seems so invested in the character he portrays. All the cast did a good job overall but it is clearly War who shined the most.

I found the soundtrack a bit too overpowering with numerous pop songs or ballads that were there to accentuate the storytelling but lacked subtlety and nuance in the way they were showcased. The production value was good enough but nothing remarkable.

I would recommend this to people looking for a well-acted and angsty BL enemies-to-lovers story with some hot scenes. Be mindful of the triggers as the show contains elements of non-con / dub-con relationship as well as domestic violence.

I wouldn't expect that I would watch this series, when I first found out about it I said I would watch it but then I started to doubt it. I ended up finishing it tonight and It was great. one thing that bothered me was ploy, ton, nuea. at least nuea at the end moved on. i hope I'm not the only but I really did like Vee, i heard that many didnt like his character but I did really like him not honna lie. I cried a lot when Mark and Vee broke up, I cried my HEART out but after all happy ending, and when Vee spooned Mark, I smiled widely. it was a good BL and I do recommend it but don't watch it just for fun, be ready cause there is lot coming

1. Few love scenes and too short.
2. Few Kisses
3. Episodes was too long
4. There was too much talking in the episodes. That should have been reduced. Watching became boring.
5. That Mark deleted the video evidence.
6. The Mark was too cute of the behavior. I wish he had been a bit badass/cool. The same goes for Vee.
7. The whole thing back and forth with the maincouple Mark+Vee.
8. That Vee >Mark didn't believe and trust. That was a bit annoying because it happened too often.
