When the present is just as troubling as the past

Oh my God this drama is everything!!
I've shouted at the tv, shook my head at the leads and their 'what is it are you doing', replayed a passionate kiss a few times and questioned decision makings too when things barely goes their way. We have a famous painter whose also a doting mother and and the woman who plays a big part of her past; a shelf of her former self seeking revenge. There is the typical do as I say Mother in Law/ judgmental Sis in law and both with their issues that you can't help but feel that oh I get it/fight or flight)And let's not forget the husbands. You have a husband who loves his wife, an abusive lawyer husband and a reckless husband with amnesia, I called just about everything in this revenge story but something dawned on me while watching episode 15; That this may well be Hae won revenge all along and how'd i missed it.
Because of the heavy drama revenge storyline, I did not expect a plot twist but I did expect someone dying or getting hurt badly in this one. I'd say this one is worth the watch.

The worst kdrama I ever saw

The worst at every level. Two psycho women manipulating a poor chap who lost his memories from an accident .
Horribly boring. The story is bad, except the poor man suffering from amnesia and the physiologist, all the characters are horrible. Manipulating, mean , nothing positive. I did hate everything in this serie, it was so boring I jumped from the episode 6 to the last and I even did not finish it. It shows the non problems of very rich people trying to abuse poor ones. Some of the poors are as horrible as the riches. Sixteen episode for something you can tell in 4, strongly painful. I could not bear that. I can like slow story but here ? it's not about being slow it's about being empty. There is no story. Story is ugly, characters are ugly, even the kids. Everything is sordid, seedy.

slow drama with poor chemistry

Despite my rating, I am going to finish this drama (fast forwarding at times), just to see how it ends. Because, let's be honest, dramas about cheating are some of the most watched genres.

CONS:
- no chemistry between the leads
- that drab green coat. It is as if Hae Won has nothing else to wear except that. Glad to be finally rid of it at ep 9. Didn't like the actress in Hospital Playlist, and nothing has changed after seeing her here.
- the actress portraying Hee Joo. Her voice when she speaks to her in-laws sounds like she is trying hard to come off as a nice person. She smiles at the most inopportune times. The role is conflicting because one moment she is angered that these 2 people from her past might disrupt her perfect life. And yet, she keeps putting herself into situations that would require her to have interactions with them.
- too many unnecessary characters. Hee Joo's mom and grandfather, Hae Won's brother and the creepy old lady who keeps calling him a murderer, the bartender, the billiard hall owner and his daughter Joo Yong.
- the disrespectful son and daughter of Hee Joo, both of whom need to be taken down a peg or two
- the unreasonable plot wherein Hee Joo stayed for several years in Ireland and lived with her boy toy while raising their baby, all while she was married

PROS
- none actually. Just feel that the only one who can act among the leads are the two guys.

So, just like Penthouse season 3, this is just something I have to finish which is why I am still watching it. LOL
