Impressing

I have to say that I was really impressed by this episode.

As he learns about his disease, the music playing isn't one of "how sad" but more one of "how scary". It's actually quite a stressful OST.

I like the fact that he hears about his disease alone, not with his family, and it's his choice to say it or not to say it to other people. So right now he's not telling. In the first half, it feels like it's not real to him. He even plans on going to an onsen, which are good for your health, maybe hoping it will solve the problem.

I told you my one of my previous reviews that MH is really good at portraying fear. Well this episode is really a good example of that. You can really see the panic growing stronger within the episode. Fist is the look on his face when he finally can open his bottle of tea , next is when he calls his father, then during the dinner with Megu and the FMACouple,

So I'm really glad he has someone like Megu. Even though I'd say it's a bit convenient to make her a nurse...but well...That hug scene was really touching, I think that's the first time I almost cried in this drama.

The scene of bargaining with the doctor was really well done. I like that there is no music, no crying and no "it's unfair, I'm so young". It's actually quite realistic. He tries to be strong, to smile (even though he snaps). You can see the anger, the fear, and the saddness even without any pitiful crying. Just because MH is really such a good actor. When he discribe how worthless he is while smiling, I really thought I was going to cry.

No, when I cried is at the end of the episode when he eat his chicken and his panic burst out. It's really a moving scene, and the acting is really, really impressive. What''s even more moving is that it's the fear that makes him cry, not the self-pity.

So, for the acting, I give the episode a 10.
