BLs in an Office/Professional Setting

Most office/profession setting romances also take their characters into the home sphere.

Since BL comes from yaoi and a lot of (particularly third wave) yaoi manga was set in an office, there’s a lot more of this style BL than most think. Just because the mass BL producer, Thailand, tends to eschew an office setting doesn’t mean the other countries feel the same. 

In fact, I would go so far as to call the office Japan’s favorite setting for BL.
