The ML gave me serious bi/gay vibes. He was straight. Love this kind of ML's.

I might just have a thing for dramas where the ML tries to kill the FL before falling in love with her. 

Presented as a playboy, but not a playboy and not in the usual "no longer a playboy for the FL" type of stories. He was somehow the biggest womaniser who seemed to have no respect for woman, and yet the most respectful man, not just in comparison to this drama, but respectful in comparison to just about every drama I've watched.

The ML was annoyingly goofy but serious. The way he speaks and carries himself is like that of a typical bad guy, which he was at some point, before the events of the drama. But he was the typical good guy with characteristics of his former "evil" self.

I feel like it is rare to have an ML like the ML in this drama for a historical drama.. He was everything that you'd find in a typical second lead mixed into one, in the best way possible.

The ML seemed more girly than the FL and and loved the relationship dynamic between the two. 

He was also definitely gay for the FL.
