  • Está bien no estar bien

    1. Está bien no estar bien

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    10

Don't skip out on this masterpiece because it's labeled mainstream! When things are mainstream, it doesn't always mean it's cliche. Instead, it signifies as powerful and moving and this series proves that.

  • A Tale of a Thousand Stars

    2. A Tale of a Thousand Stars

    Thai Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    10

A touching and inspirational tale which can pack a suspenseful thrill as well. Delves into the topics of self-discovery, passion, sacrifices, and humility. There's romance, but it was like dessert while the plot was the main course!

  • Por Siempre No. 1

    3. Por Siempre No. 1

    Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes

    10

Rewatched this four times. It's literally THAT good! Also, it made me realize there are good BL series out there and I have broadened my genre since then so 100% worth watching!

  • We Best Love: El Sub-campeón Contraataca

    4. We Best Love: El Sub-campeón Contraataca

    Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes

    10

Continuation of We Best Love Season 1 and I rewatched this twice! Even though there are misunderstandings and miscommunication, it is solved and still very sweet

  • Thirty But Seventeen

    5. Thirty But Seventeen

    Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes

    10

If you're looking for romantic comedy, this is perfect! I was a bit wary since Viki originals can sometimes be cringy or cliche, but this series had perfect comedy and got me laughing

  • Bromance

    6. Bromance

    Taiwanese Drama - 2015, 18 episodes

    10

Rewatched this series four times and every time I saw it again, I discovered new and interesting moments! Even though it's a cross-dressing genre, the main female and male lead are open minded about LGBT+ and it's very welcoming so 100% recommend

  • Suspicious Partner

    7. Suspicious Partner

    Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes

    10

Hilarious, actors had great chemistry, and it has the ability to make you sit on the edge of your seat. I'm not a fan of action or thriller, but this series had me hooked! Also, I love lawyer settings so this was just perfect

  • A Korean Odyssey

    8. A Korean Odyssey

    Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes

    9.5

Has a bittersweet ending, but I loved the music, acting, plot, and camera work!

  • Mr. Heart

    9. Mr. Heart

    Korean Movie - 2020

    10

I love secret pinning so this was a cute movie to watch! I actually smiled throughout most of the scenes and the acting is well executed

  • Kill Me, Heal Me

    10. Kill Me, Heal Me

    Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes

    10

The acting is 10/10 and it heavily focuses on the theme / message about not giving up and finding a purpose in living. Emotional and made me cry because of the character's struggles, but there's a happy ending so don't worry!

  • To The Beautiful You

    11. To The Beautiful You

    Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes

    8.5

I loved the manga and reread it multiple times. Although the acting could have been better, I still suggest watching it if you were a fan of the manga like me

  • The Beauty Inside

    12. The Beauty Inside

    Korean Movie - 2015

    10

I love how their romance goes beyond just a heterosexual boundary. Towards the end Yi Soo is seen kissing and smiling as the many different appearances Woo Jin held approached her. It gave so much representation to pansexual and demisexual folks who fall for the person / soul instead of gender / sex or appearance. I don't want to necessarily put a label on their relationship since this movie is about loving who you are, but it was still touching to know love was able to transcend beyond gender, age, and language barriers.

  • Un lugar en tu corazón

    13. Un lugar en tu corazón

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    9.5

I honestly watched this for the female lead because she's too adorable and makes you want to hug her character! You can't hate her and the chemistry between her and the male lead is perfect

  • HIStory3: Trapped

    14. HIStory3: Trapped

    Taiwanese Special - 2019, 20 episodes

    8.0

Although I do like the main couple, the side couple really made me smile stupidly and had me replaying scenes just to watch them again

  • Koe Koi

    15. Koe Koi

    Japanese Drama - 2016, 12 episodes

    10

It's a simple and straightforward love story and I preferred this series adaption over the webtoon because it was carried out so well. The acting is great and I expected worst, but there's no awkward movements and the male lead did well even with a paper bag over him!
