ML has the most amazing character development from start to finish.

This a "good ol' hero gets strong" kind of story.

Beware the snakes, so many snakes, they are on the good side but still so damn many snakes

Just fun, simply fun from start to finish. I couldn't find a single plot hole and I tried. Light on the romance but nobody should watch it for that.

So much plot, enough plot to fill 2 shows. 

Expert production. The OST, the cinematography, the costumes, the lighting. Even the foreign actors were decent. 

ALOT of politics, like ALOT but its to be expected. 

ML is indestructible 

Strong, smart and meticulous female lead with a big heart. 

Cheeky, opinionated SMART considerate ML - An awesome husband for all intense purposes except one or 2 things but nobody is perfect plus he is a fictional character. 

Best female lead in a CDrama ever!!!

ML was cute but not the best actor - luckily the plot, CGI and Fuzi and his crew made this awesome.

FL is cool calm and collected. She is very much a big picture kind of person. 

Scheming since its a harem drama. ML is everything that a husband should be. He takes care of his children and family but he can't stand the schemes so the concubines are ignored until he gets his second wife who couldn't care less about said schemes as long as everything is running well.

Terrible CGI, most compelling villain and great story.

Start from the middle with this one because it so slow
