Too much angst and drama!

I'm liking this episode more because there's more character back-story. Gee, everyone has some dark twisted history. It's kinda hard to swallow that much drama.

Though, did they honestly have to add in the whole affair thing? It just makes it so much easier for Jae Hee to be eliminated. This also gives leeway to Eun Gi to get closer to Ma Ru in order to get revenge on Jae Hee. I know exactly where this is gonna go...

Jae Hee totally reminds me of Young Mi (played by Kim So Yeon) from All About Eve. However, I actually felt more for Young Mi within the first few episodes than for Jae Hee right now. I honestly think Kim So Yeon owns the role. I usually hate two-faced characters, but for some reason Young Mi really stuck to me. I can already feel the downfall for Jae Hee. She's just such a bad calculator when it comes to being two-face. The cool thing about All About Eve is that at least Young Mi still had someone that cared about her even knowing her true identity. I don't think it's the case for Jae Hee here.

Overall, Young Mi is classy, and Jae Hee is just not on the same page atm.

On a side note, I'm surprised to see the whole Princess's Man family here haha.

I'm not buying it...

I find the excessive drama overload is nauseating. I know this is a melodrama, but it's just too much.

I hate that Han Jae has underlying motives. Why do Korean dramas always (or usually) make the second female lead evil? It just bugs the living daylight out of me. It makes it so much easier for Eun Gi to get by. Ok, I know that nobody understands Eun Gi, but it's so obvious that she's just rough on the outside, and soft in the inside. She's exactly a replica of Ma Ru, except female. Guess what? This leads to double pity fest.

I don't know if it's because I'm in no mood for some pity fest. But, the characters are too 2-dimensional up to this point. I don't want the writers to shove it down my throat that I should feel sorry for our OTP, and hate the wench. I just want to feel what the characters are feeling naturally. In this case, it feels rather forced.

Up to this point, there are only two shades of characters; they are either whiny/"feel sorry for me" or spoiled. Not a good sign.

It's such a shame how the scriptwriter is trying to make it so dramatic by having the characters being in the shady grey, when in reality, good vs evil is laid out in black and white for us viewers.

P.S. What the hell? Why would Eun Gi throw her friken cell in the aquarium? Such a spoiled brat...

P.S.S. Han Jae is so blatantly typical for Korean drama characters. Not every person in the world who marries an older man for money is a coward like that. It's always the two-face-b*tch against the angel in a devil's disguise.

Why so much hate?

I understand that the characters aren't perfect, and they can be quite annoying. However, I really appreciate how each character's traits have been consistent.

And gals and guys, haven't you heard Michael Bolton's song of When a Man Loves a Woman? There aren't many people like Tae Sang in real-life, but it's believable enough.

I know many people hate Mi Do, but I somewhat understand her position. I do not side with her, but I understand her.

Also, Jae Hee doesn't deserve that much hate. He loves her... what can the guy do?

I think people are too black and white about relationships and 'love'. I know these would be considered stupid if we were to put them in reality, but love makes you do crazy things... and I think that's the whole purpose of this drama.

It's a really fun drama, I must admit. Perhaps, I enjoy watching jealousy scenes way too much more than I should haha.

I admire that these characters aren't perfect. Nonetheless, they really go for what they want. Well, except Mi Do, since she's lost. I completely understand her.

This episode was great because they didn't hide anything. I hate it when dramas prolong things, but Tae Sang let everything out pretty much to Jae Hee.

All in all, this drama shows different POV on love.

Stretchy...

I actually loved this series until the last 3 episodes aired. Starting from episode 14 and onward (till now), I thought there were way too many fillers.

The character dynamics are being rehashed. I honestly feel like the last 3 episodes could have been condensed to 1 episode.

It also seems like they've dismissed Do Jin's illness. The last time that it was prominent was when Yi Soo found out about it. After that, they just seemed to ignore it.

The addition of Colin feels out of place. Perhaps, it's just me, but I feel like it's lacking any excitement. The characters feel like they're on a stalemate.

I can already predict where the story is heading. I loved how our OTP started off, but now they've become so dull. I'd rather watch the other couples.

The development b/w Yoon and Mea Ri keeps on going around in circle. When the heck is he gonna let their love course flow?

Some of the typical Korean elements are surfacing from these last few episodes. I thought they'd be able to escape it due to the unique characters. I guess not...
