Both drama are about a large family living in the beautiful countryside when a "scandal" about a family member erupts. Both drama are about family dynamics and bonds and how a single change can bring the family together through the effort of wanting to be there for each other especially during the hard times. Lots of funny and emotional scenes, heartwarming yet frustrating at points. Last but not least both drama deal with the issue of societal conformity and pressure.

Both drama have a strong single mother figure who does everything she can to provide for her kids and be there when in need. Marriage, marriage, marriage. You get the point. Both drama deal with marriage and creating a new family, getting in-laws and growing up from a dating couple to a married one and how marriage in general changes the dynamics of a relationship. Though Glorious Day is more family focused and Can We get Married? leans more on the romance, the feeling the both give is pretty similar.

Both drama are focusing on mother-daughter relationships and the impact of the mother's presence in their kids' life. The romance plotline is one the background. A lot of growing up and many realizations about the passage of time. And there are many similarities over how the ending was handled so if you have watched either drama you know what to expect.

Family drama with lots of ups and downs. Remarriage is theme in both drama though handled in a very different way. Where Five Enough focuses on creating a new family, Life is Beautiful is the result of it. Of course there is romantic plot in both and they both deal with past trauma issues and family dynamics.
