I laugh a lot while watching

I really want to watch this one from the day I saw the poster and the list of the cast for this series. Luckily, today I found the videos of this drama? sitcom? on YouTube and started to watch it. I love the storyline and all the characters because it does reflect the real scenario in our community. Even though I only watched two episodes but I can assure this drama is good enough to make you stay until the last episode. Why? Just watch the first episode then you will know that this drama is hilarious enough. Ahhh about Lee Jin Hyuk, I never see him act before, never know that he is a very good actor! Thank you for making me laugh a lot through these hard days.

Ok. Just like everyone else, I watched this because I heard it was similar to Boy Over Flowers. I even heard that some people liked this drama more so believe me when I say I walked in with high hopes.

I just finished watching the sixth episode. Usually I wait until the end--or even after a rewatch--to do a review, but I just felt the urge to do it now. This drama is kinda cute, kinda funny, and kinda GOOD. The best thing about this drama, though, is that the characters are CHAOTIC asf. Literally, they are all a mess

I said I wouldn't spoil (and I WON'T) but I just wanna say that the antagonist female lead has me CRACKING UP. She is so fricken STRESSED with every decision the male lead makes. Don't get me wrong, I still hate her guts. The guy who is in love with her also makes me CRACK UP because he is STRESSED by the fact that she is STRESSED. Now moving onto out main male lead. My conclusion so far is that he is having an internal struggle while also living it UP in college. On one hand he's like 'I hate my family and life is one big responsibility' and on the other hand he's like 'I'm low-key looking for wifey'. Now onto the female lead: also stressed. More-so confused though. No I mean seriously, this girl is ALWAYS confused (which is such a mood) but I kind of feel bad for her. At first I hated her character because she is REALLY annoying and kinda stupid. She's starting to grow on me though. Stay tuned for updates.

Started out great, lost interest super quickly.

Overall, I didn't like this. I think maybe if it had been a mini-series I would have liked it. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes and then I ended up skipping like 75% of episodes 4-8. Then I just jumped to the last episode and watched it.
Honestly, the entire story could have been done in like 2 or 3 episodes. The rest was just boring and drawn out for drama purposes.

The characters seemed pretty flat to me, and not well-rounded from what I saw. I still don't understand the step-sister's behavior and I'm not going back to try and watch it all to figure it out. Honestly, if she doesn't have a motive from the beginning then it doesn't make sense to give her one over halfway through the series.

I'm sure some people have watched this and enjoyed it. It just wasn't a drama meant for me I guess.

Go to eat, mais avec modération, par pitié...

Ok, je sais déjà les commentaires qui vous viendront à l'esprit. "Pourquoi continue-t-il à chroniquer des dramas avec Sakurai Hinako ? Il sait très bien que ce sera au mieux un shōjo un peu niais, au pire un navet abandonné après le 1er épisode." Mais j'attends toujours à nouveau un rôle à la Janus no Kagami ou un, finalement assez drôle Flora, mais le désespoir me gagne et la mort est proche. Je suis à deux doigts de noyer mon chagrin dans cette junk food dont semble raffoler Hinako-chan.

Pourtant, au vu du cast, ça partait plutôt bien. Okazaki Sae qui avait peut-être enfin la chance d'être mise en avant autrement qu'en assistante médicale, ou en copine cool et trop Tokyo Girl, et surtout Furukawa Yuki qu'il faut absolument voir dans la série des Ishi no Mayu et ses séquelles et qui restera l'éternelle ado cool et froids d'Itazura no Kiss., le chef-d'œuvre incontesté du shōjo manga (drôle) en drama., m'ont mis l'eau à la bouche.

Mais mes espoirs ont été balayés en quelques minutes, vu l'ambiance office lady dans une start-up trop cool et kawaï des premières minutes. Du mauvais josei manga faisant la publicité éhontée des heures supplémentaires et de l'exploitation des jeunes femmes surdiplômées, reléguées dans les bureaux, à faire des photocopies et à apporter le café. Un autre temps, un autre monde... Et après une dure journée de labeur, réalisée avec le sourire de façade qui va bien et la vie sociale qui ne va pas, le seul plaisir, avant de se coucher, est un arrêt dans le fastfood du coin... pour en faire la promotion. Le premier épisode, au choix, consterne, laisse de marbre ou écœure, vu le porn food exacerbé qui dégouline des gros plans beaucoup trop longs sur les burgers. On est loin du pourtant très semblable et aussi très marketé "Go to Eat" O mimi ni aimasu. Moins sensible, moins drôle (même si c'est pas fou fou) et surtout moins original cette publicité à peine voilée pour les chaines de restaurants m'a vraiment écœuré de prime abord. Même la danse en Opening semble ridicule, si on la compare a l'Ending vitaminé de Omimi.

Alors qu'y a-t-il à garder dans ce josei qui relègue une fois de plus la femme japonaise à son destin de faire valoir pour homme ? Et ben je n'en sais rien. Simple consommatrice dans une société patriarcale juste bonne à se taire et comblant sa frustration par des plaisirs immédiats et gras, la jeune femme ne peut pas se retrouver dans cette vie. La production est fade, les scènes de bouffe ne donnent pas faim, tellement mal filmées qu'elles sont, le jeu des acteurs ne rattrape rien. Ils ne font aucun effort pour se détacher des stéréotypes. Furukawa Yuki en premier, avec un sous rôle de gars sérieux et mystérieux, bien plus crédible dans Itazura no Kiss. Pour des personnages dessinés, certains traits de caractère tout surjoués qu'ils soient passent toujours mieux. Ici, en live, on frôle une fois de plus le ridicule. C'est "sauvez par le gong" au pays des fastfoods, gênant pour sa vulgarité, son côté "c'est comme ça qu'un jeune urbain trop cool doit vivre" et sa fatuité.

Si ce manga doit être un reflet de la jeunesse d'aujourd'hui je veux rester vieux, passer mes nuits à regarder la TV plutôt que de trainer dans les chaines de restauration rapide. On y apprend tellement sur le monde dans lequel on vit. On apprend, par exemple, que même de bons acteurs doivent parfois faire un job "alimentaire" pour vivre.

"The Series that inspired Love is War "

I wasn't expecting this drama to be this good. The plot is definitely similar to the newly and well-loved "love is war" but in a more mature way. The married couple are lawyers and are in constant odd with each other, one break that will give the other the reason to divorce which ended up being funny. The show definitely displayed "lesson-learned" element in each episodes as is normal that time but is uniquely different with the narrator funnily narrating the show and the two intelligent couple still lacking in a lot of ways, people definitely need to watch this underrated good series.

Every scene is at a snail’s pace

The way the series was shot and edited makes every single thing that happens feel like it takes so long. Just a character sitting down to do something or getting up. They’re single shots and there’s no edits or cuts. You’re literally just watching the actors move in real time. Watching feels like you’re constantly waiting for something to happen, anything, but nothing does.

it is so agonizingly slow that even watching it 15% sped up still feels slow.

The actors also speak so slow that even when sped up, their speaking still sounds normal.

I watched the whole 1st episode and if you removed all of the walking, entering and exiting rooms, and adjusting themselves to sit down or stand up, the episode would be 10 or 15 minutes long. But it’s 40 minutes long.

Watching the first episode gave me bad college film flashbacks.

I liked the 1st episode

I DID like the first episode, it was fun & cute both, and the princess was NOT just a smiling doll (some review mentioned that she was and that the other story with Mookda was to be better in that respect). It was also funny when at the beginning of 2nd episode the guy found out his whole adventure (a movie-length runtime) was actually with the princess, not the maid. But 3rd episode already had them all mushy... And to watch FIFTEEN movie-length episodes? This genre is not my cup of tea... I'll try the other series, not that I think Mookda better actress but pershaps it could be funnier. We'll see if I'll drop it, too...

Lead Girl kinda....

one thing i want to say the lead star voice is so annoying and her role kinda irritated.... but i think the series is good... have to finish it but im sorry but whenever the lead girl talks irritated me.... why does all girl in Chinese voice like that... irritating!!!!


i hope they improve the way talk and their tone of voice kinda crazy!!!!

i hope it wont regret watching this!!!!

tropes' glory

Besides the ML looking good, this drama doesnt have much to offer, just a bunch of cliches from B-series movies: the love of two orphans, the big-hearted prostitute, the outcast saved by an innocent love, also a femme-fatale etc. Too many to keep track of them. Coincidences and misunderstandings keep happening... Oh, and of course we have a hero, or even two heroes, and also one dead hero - the fem cop.
It's really a dumb-trophy winning series.

Greatest Shows.

I would say, this Thai Lakorn series is good, I'd loved based on the novels/original version instead of "remake version" also those shows are good it is about that P Ekarat and P Nannarin was meeting each other in hospital in Episode 1, but P Ekarat trying to safe P Nannarin for getting kidnapped, and also long side P Nannarin and P Risa's mother has been passed away during the hospital scene. But y'all will get the point of the storyline...But P Nannarin's sister helping out of people needed and also when P Risa have a party to celebrate so people came in and come to congratulations to her that's she got it into jobsite that her dad given her.

No "shark" action

I found so many flaws in this, that i dont know where to start... First, it looks very outdated in terms of filming technique and dynamics - or lack of it, it's very slow for a revenge/ action drama. Also, the colours are dark and washed out, be it for the present or past actions. Too much time is assigned for the memories of the ML, like - we got it, let us get to the point already! Very tropey, a lot of of symbolism, but everything thrown into our face, no mystery left to keep us waiting! And, above all, veeeeerry slow pace - 20 long episodes packed with unnecessary dialogues, staring and whatnot BUT action.
Dropped and dont consider giving it a try any time soon.

Deabak Lee oppa & Kim Go Eun Unni

It's an amazing drama. There acting is so realistic. After watching Goblin I'm fan of Kim Go Eun. Her acting is very skillful. & her talking style,every expression is very realistic. LEE MIN HO is always deabak.There's nothing to say about him. He is always Skilled in his every works. Here he presents himself once again with his skillful acting. "THE KING:THE ETERNAL MONARCH" here Lee MinHo plays role as Yi Gon & he is the third Korean emperor of his generation. When he was 8 years old, his father was murdered before his eyes.Once he escapes, he sees himself propelled into a parallel world where he meets Jung Tae Eul (Kim Go Eun plays role as Jung Tae Eul). Overall it's very interesting story. I'm very excited. Almost I'm drowning in excitement.
