Unrealistically beautiful and perfect

When I say perfect I mean it!!!! In just 2 episodes I can say that this will be my most favourite dramaaaaa everrrr

The emotions everything is soooo super good
I don't usually watch time drama but this one is different I loooovvvveeee ittttttt
Absolutely amazing , the emotions are so well delivered that within first 5 minutes of the show you'll be connected..it will feel like you are the part of the show and when they'll be happy, you'll be even more happy and when they are sad, you'll be 1000 times more sad ( this drama is going to be rollercoaster of emotions and fun)
The very 1st episode and I was hooked itsssss sooooo good

The ending of ep2 was sooooo unexpected and gooooddddd like I literally had happy and sad tears ?? I just hope it will have a happy ending and then this drama will be 10000000000000/10 for me

Its too attractive

After watching the drama the Untamed I have never thought that I will like others bromance..instead of xiao zhan and wang yibo....I thought that they were too handsome and amusing actors...and I became very obsessed with The Untamed that I can not move on from this drama...but this drama is giving me untamed vibes...I am not comparing two of them...The Untamed is oviously masterpeace...No one could beat it..but this drama is also good..It is going to nailing all of us...I think all of you guys will enjoy this drama....this is also going to be a very high rating drama....and I think you will like the chemistry of the main leads?...So guys Lets enjoy it?

A Disappointing Blend of Clichés

I approached this drama with high hopes, only to find myself immersed in a sea of clichés. It seems that every slight action or insignificant moment is accompanied by sound effects, slow motion, and excessive zooming. This excessive use of these techniques feels unnecessary. The portrayal of the female lead is another aspect that left me disappointed she appears to be limited to shallow breathing, excessive stuttering, and an inability to complete a sentence. I found myself constantly wanting to skip through these moments. Furthermore, the attempts to showcase the male lead as ruthless, the drama resorts to repetitive scenes where the male lead tries to lean on her, scaring her as if he were an ostrich buffing his feathers. The male lead does have the ability to portray a ruthless character visually. However, the execution falls short, as the drama goes to extreme lengths that feel forced and excessive.

A bit exaggerated

I admit that after watching episode 1 I was really eager to see episode 2. Episode 1 was really enough to make you key into the series but after watching episode 2 I just wanna drop it lol. the story just got boring and repetitive in episode 2, like we get the plot can you please move on.. they spent too long on scenes that didn't need to happen more than once and I really had to force myself to finish the second episode. I will not be dropping the series because honestly I think it has potential, and episode one was really good, barely had any negative comments about episode 1. I hope that the series picks up again by Episode 3.
I am really Glad I continued watching this.. so far on Episode 4 and I am enjoying it. The relationship development seems a bit slow but very reasonable and I can't wait for them to start dating haha

What's the rave about?

I am into the third episode and about to give up. It is produced in a very old Chinese style - with dim indoor lighting and rugged clothings. Realistic - yes, appealing - no. The audio recording was muffled and difficult to make out so I have to rely on the subtitles. All I see up to now was a lot of people running around, horse galloping, shouting and drum roll in an attempt to create an ambience of urgency and excitement. But the story is not developing fast enough and it is not keeping me interested.

One of the earlier reviewers advised to watch until the tenth episode into the story but I do not think I have the patience. Also a reviewer did not declare there is a spoiler in her reviews which spoil it further for me. I do not understand why it was so highly rated on mydramalist.com. It is not my cup of tea.

Unlike 'The Untamed' which I did not like it much initially, but I got to like it very quickly by the second episode.

I am going to push on for a little while. If I change my opinion about it, I would come back to correct this review.

Another disappointing series from this girl..

Another disappointing series from this girl... Not sure on how 8.6 ratijng can come... both look old.. so even the charm factor is missing and bad storyline....Stopped watching at the end of 3rd episode
Issues of this show - in the first 3 episodes, a formidable general who is feared by immortals decides to fight because she is forced into marriage..... Wow .. so what's the point of immortal world...we should call it a demon world ... So lets say its demon world and this girl who is awesome falls in love with a very weak Hero character because he can cook well and ... Give me a break... Is she an idiot that's one of the most formidable character in Immortal realm... when you say someone is God like character - please work on your script... to make them look smart... A weak hero is not your answer but someone is wise or powerful enough .. waste of money in graphics and actors compensations

The most interesting start to a romcom I've seen in a long while.

I think I'm going to love this show.

The show has already kicked off in a way I haven't seen before in similar dramas. I'm a fan of the female lead, Janice Wu, having seen her in Skate Into Love so of course I love her character already. The camera direction is also quite interesting, with direct-to-camera monologues and a nice halo effect for the cinematography.

Not to mention the story itself has started off a bit differently. It's not your typical Boy meets Girl scenario, as our leads have a history. Boy has already met Girl and they didn't end it well, so already I'm intrigued. What happened? Why did they break up? I'm reminded of one of my favourite books - Persuasion, by Jane Austen - and I'm excited to see how it all unfolds...

On hold...

I came for Steven Zhang and screenwriter Wang Xiong Cheng. I just finished Go Ahead so I was very excited to see that they had another show out there. I truly was excited seeing some of the same actors and actresses in this series but I am kicking myself after watching the first episode. I did not look to see who was cast or read the summary.

First off, I have a very bias opinion of Liang Jie. I have seen two of her dramas and her acting just annoys the heck out of me. She has the same personality, characteristic and I just can't see her improvement so therefore I'm putting this on hold. I'm so disappointed and upset because I think this series would have been up my alley but they chose the wrong actress.

Overused Genre of Xianxia gone wrong.

I'll be brief.

Don't waste your time on this drama if you're a sensitive and judgemental critic viwer like me. because stupid shows like this pulls my trigger and I was provoked.

Acting, too dramatic
plot, Stupid repetitions of everything cliche about xianxia and made it to it's worse bake up. Like, why did they fall in love again??? I don't think I know ?

The writer just wants it like that, so okey. they're pushed together to fall in love...and die and die and die again for so called dramatic love. eww.

The only reason this drama was popular was because of leads and it's already Obvious so rest my case.

I wouldn't recommend this drama to sensible Drama viewers who wants quality over famous pretty leads.. Because this is a Xianxia trash at it's best

Atualmente estou no episódio 4 e ja vou dar meu veredito
Essa série e terrível, ela tem la seus pontos positivos mas em geral e péssima
A relação do casal principal e estranha e forçada com personagens mais estereótipados que negros nos filmes dos anos 2000
Personagens pouco cativantes e desconexos, interações forçadas e situações esquisitas. Mundo fechado e monótono e personagens superficiais
Além de cenário e cinematográfia de baixo orçamento (provavelmente gastaram toda a verba alugando o carro do ai)
Comédia infanto juvenil que não combina nada com o jeito que é retratado o relacionamento dos protagonistas (o cara cuida de um patinho de chaveiro a mando do pai e ao mesmo tempo transa bêbado na casa do amigo dele???? é muito incoerente) que é tão mal dessenvolvido que parece um relacionamento pedófilo
Os diálogos são forçados e parecem que so tao ali pra explicar o óbvio e fingir aproximação do casal (que não disfarça os furos de aproximação)
As vezes da pra dar umas risadinhas, mas o fato de uma série com um humor tão bobo fazer piadas com sexo explícito me deixa muito incomodado
