"I Hear Your Voice" is a really hard drama for me to review, since it's one of those dramas you really can't describe. So I'm just going to go right on ahead.
Story: The writer also wrote "Dream High", which was definitely well written but the actors weren't all that great. A few episodes in, it was really obvious that the writer was the same because- while the plot was completely different- the story was told with a ton of heart. The writer very obviously loved each and every character here and really fleshed them all out. I also feel like the writer has improved from her "Dream High" days, because the character arcs weren't so drastic here like they were in DH. The characters here moved along their little paths in subtle ways, becoming better people but still retaining their original selves. I especially loved Do Yeon's character arc because it really hit you in the heart. She started out a bitchy, arrogant girl and finally became a character you could love and respect. To be completely honest, by the end of the drama there really weren't any characters you actively hated. There were some you found pitiful, but everyone had their reasons for doing with they did and they all suffered the consequences of their actions. I kind of wish that Kwan Woo and Soo Ha had more scenes together, because they could have had an awesome bromance, but I did love the relationship they already had with each other. Another thing that I loved about this drama was the relationship between Kwan Woo and Hye Sung. Kwan Woo inspired Hye Sung to become a better lawyer and start trusting in her defendants, and they're the textbook example of a "what could have been" couple. As far as shortcomings go, they're all pretty much related to the courtroom stuff. For instance, there's only three lawyers, one judge and two prosecutors throughout this entire drama. The courtroom scenes were unrealistic and if I were a lawyer/ someone in the field, I would probably hate how that world is portrayed in this drama.
Acting: Lee Bo Young was really good and had cute chemistry with Lee Jong Suk despite their huge age gap. Yoon Sang Hyun was great and I adored Choi Sung Joon. Everyone worked well within their roles.
Music: 2013 seems to be the year of great drama OSTs for me. I loved "Echo" to bits and pieces. All the other songs were used well and really fit the overall themes of this drama.
Rewatch Value: Of course, the second time you watch it won't be the same, but there are some parts that are worth the rewatch.
Overall: I know this is a bit last-minute, but I really have to commend "I Hear Your Voice" for coming up with such a clever title. The titular "voice" is different for each and every character. For Soo Ha, it's people's thoughts, for Hye Sung it's hearing and believing in her defendant's words and I don't want to give away Kwon Woo's because it's such a spoiler. Unlike other dramas, the title isn't just there on a surface level, but it really touches each and every facet of the drama, which just shows how much thought was put into it.

this show is a really fun watch. i greatly enjoyed the missions and the folks from cyrano. that's why it gets a 7.

the story of the OTP was very poorly developed. the 2nd lead got way more attention. it really seemed that with writers got to the home stretch and realized "oh crap! we've got 2 episodes left. we have to wrap this up!!!" and so it ended in a big steaming pile of WTF which would have ruined the whole thing. watch the 1st 14 episodes, they are very entertaining.

Well, I must say that I'm kind of scared to watch dramas that are really famous.. Just 'cause sometimes I get really disappointed at it. But with this was the opposite. The story is the same you find in so many dramas: a contract marriage, but what makes this drama so remarkable is the way that it flows. You can feel the chemistry between the leads since the beginning, they're so cute together that you start to wish to have one relationship just like them (or that's only me wishing it ;S).. The second leads are really good too; there are so many dramas that you start to dislike those people so much, 'cause every time they are really evil.. the best of this drama is that we don't have it!! Well, this drama was one of the best that I've ever watched. You have romance, comedy, drama and cuteness mixed very well and wonderfully executed. It's definitely a must watch drama.

This has a huge group of talented young people. If they are all truly playing the instruments and singing, then they deserve props for that. I'm not a big fan of high school dramas, but I have watched a few. This puts most of them to shame in the music department. The story is pretty typical for a high school drama...bullies, childhood traumas, first love, etc. However, it was directed like a musical and I enjoyed that. I can't post about the parts I liked, because we aren't supposed to post spoilers. Bummer!!! ;-)

Ha Yeon Soo as Se Yi and Da Hee as NaNa were my favorites. However, I liked all the actors and I thought they all did an excellent job.

The music is outstanding!!! You should watch this drama for that alone.

I will probably rewatch this at some point.

I recommend this drama for all ages.

nothing special or unique about this drama. Like really. It got so slow and boring half way that I wanted to drop it. I actually thought that it would end up being one of my favs. But no.. it only got worse.

STORY-6. Nothing interesting about this story. I don't feel the chemistry been the main characters at all. The love story even faded away at the end. Sun Woo and Nana's relationship never developed either. Just ridiculous. Se Yi should have also broke off ties with Sun Woo so he could have known earlier that she rejects him. He already had a feeling. .. just needed it to be confirmed. This story just got slow and draggy for me. I just like how the friendship was made and how they bonded. And Nana's backup story as well. I wished she got together with Sun Woo. And Se Yi really annoyed me :/

ACTING/CAST-8 I actually like the cast. Not the acting that much, but I love the cast. Da Hee and Ha Yeon Soo are rookies, so their acting wasn't quite good. I like Kang Ha Neuls acting though. Sometimes, I just couldn't feels their emotions. Especially Ha Yeon Soo... Seol Chan was alright. Not too bad.

MUSIC-10 The only thing I loved about this drama us the Music. I love their OSTs.

REWATCH VALUE-4. I would never ever re watch this unless I want to hear good music and see how awesome Nana is over again. This was a waste of my time. Sorry Monstar fans.

As I'm sure anyone reading the reviews for this drama can tell, many people are incredibly passionate about I Hear Your Voice... and with very good reason. Not only is the story really unique and well written, but the actors (ALL of them) have done such an amazing job that you don't see the actor anymore, just the character.

Nearly every episode flows perfectly and most left me in denial that I had to wait a week for the next set. However, that's the genius of the writer and, to her, I give props. This is the third drama/movie of hers that I've watched and I loved them all.

I have to put an entire paragraph here on the acting. I expected to see good acting from many of the cast members, most are very respected and experienced. What surprised me the most was the acting ability of Lee Jong Suk. I've recently watched School 2013 and knew the kid had talent, but I never would have guessed he was this good. He made me laugh at his goofiness, smile when he was happy, and just cry my eyes out when he hurt. No matter how well written a story may be, if you don't get the right actors, it will never work. This choice, for this role, could not have been any better. As much as his acting ability left me breathless, he wasn't the only standout. Several episodes I had to give the best acting award to Jung Woong In, Yoon Sang Hyun and Lee Da Hee. Both very experienced actors that pulled even more out of their bag of tricks in this drama. The versatility of all the main and supporting cast was excellent. FYI, Jung Woong In was made for evil roles! That man can be downright scary as hell.

I can tell you I will be watching this again and not only for the feel good moments. Just like owning your favorite books to re-read over and over, I'll be enjoying this drama for years to come.

This drama was amazing! I didn't get bored once... That is... till the last episode. I don't The ending didn't seem right! The whole last episode wasn't very good for me because they didn't focus enough on the couple! It just didn't seem complete when he wiped her tears... It wasn't... right. Also I was upset at what they did with Kim NaNa... WHY DIDN'T SHE END UP WITH HIM? >:\ He was such a jerk earlier and they didn't even make it right! I just think the ending was way to rushed. Anybody agree? But other than that this drama is an amazing watch and I loved every minute of it... ^_^ Also I got teary eyed when he put the picture she gave him in a frame... That... Touched my heart. I have to say. Just little things like that are the reason I watch dramas!

Heartbreaking romance at its best!

I totally recommend this drama. I've been looking for a drama which tears me apart but has a smooth finish. This one was absolutly worth my time. It is full of emotions, full of questionable problems. You can easily put yourself into the protagonist's shoes without slipping out of them ;)

I personally recommend this drama to those who are true believers in love and that, no matter what happens, love can happen anytime, anywhere even though we are practically talking about a couple who are as different as the European culture in comparison with the Asian culture.
This drama found a great mix of setting up tension in helpless moments and the way of finding solutions. Everything seems just so right and understandable in its own way. People might think that finding normal solutions might be easy, but as the short summary above explains 'He travels 300 years into the future of modern Seoul...'; having a valuable and meaningful ending in these time machine series is pretty difficult and I met so many weird endings who didn't really make sense to me before.

This drama totally rocked and still rocks my world. I watched it 3 times already and I recommend it to everyone.

The acting is marvellous. I'm kind of disappointed though that the main actress only had supporting roles before, because her work was amazing. She always made me feel sorry for her in any situation, independent from the man who is not your typical modern man.

This serie has its own magic and you defenietly can't compare it to others simply because the main couple catches your heart in a blink!

Well, I actually came across this show after a close friend recommended it to me. At first glance, it was like this show would be just like other generic school-theme dramas, so I didn't have any expectations at all.

After I finish watching this drama, I'd dare to say it is THE BEST school drama ever made in Japan, if not the best ever made by ANY country. Only one show is good enough to be apple-to-apple comparison with it, namely Kinpachi-sensei (though I just watch one season, the 6th). Both are equally excellent, but for those cannot stand very numerous episode you will most likely end up not liking Kinpachi (it has 23 episodes@ 1 hour!)

OK, let go to the review. It tackles current issues of middle school students in Japan (as well as in my country, actually), including free (minor) sex, freedom of speech, mental age, and even at one episode it involves bullying. Seems unremarkable, isn't it? Unlike many others that trying so hard to agitate audiences' feelings by bombarding them with cliches, Suzuki Sensei comes out naturally. Everything in this drama looks so naturally, from the ambient, dialogues, responses, and even every students...everyone of them looks just come out of reality. Just like what your middle school classmates do in real life, if you had experienced one.

Everything in this drama is also in gray zone, not in black neither white zone of morality, which I really like. Perhaps the most ground-breaking feature of the drama is its way to deliver its message to the masses. Like I mentioned before, this drama does not rely on overused cliches- something like the teacher saying moral message very straightly and everyone cries all the sudden. Middle school kids need logical explanations, and this drama provides and delivers it in good manners. You might be offended by opinions by characters (usually by Mr. Suzuki himself) in this drama, but that's what this drama made for. You will see, the students are becoming more and more open-minded to criticism and others' opinion, and eventually gradually become better person.

Technical-wise, this drama also triumphantly awesome. Hasegawa portrays Mr. Suzuki, the imperfect but smart teacher very well. In fact, this is his best performance so far. The kids are also very well picked. It's not surprising many of the Suzuki alumni become involved in many good coming-of-age shows like this. I'm hoping the kids get their well-deserved breaks, since they are really good. I also enjoy the opening, as well as its soundtrack. They really represent what this drama is all about.

If you identify yourself as a J-drama enthusiast, I urge you to watch this drama. Finally, all of those explanation enough to warrant this show a must watch.

When I first saw the trailer for this drama, I felt a little skeptical. Aside from it's gumiho plot, I thought this drama would be one of those boring, cheesy dramas. I had no idea I would like it so much! I initially wanted to watch it just for the singers that were in it (especially Woohyun! and his romance with Hyomin!) and for the fact that it was short.
The story was fantastic! No plot holes, and the pace was perfect! The drama explained MiJin's situation in excellent detail and the director went as far as to make us, the audience, understand her a lot better and even pity her. The pace of the drama was neither too fast or too slow, which is what I love most! I loved the humor, and the romance was just right. The director became unpredictable throughout the movie as well; I was surprised at some events. Even though most of it was portrayed as a comedy, I also found myself on the verge of tears of sadness as well!
The cast was just amazing. The women were beautiful, and the men looked gorgeous as well (especially the lead male, Woohyun, and Sunggyu!!!) Most of them had great acting skills (I think the newbies could do better with more practice); MiJin's crying was amazing, I always find actors and actresses amazing when they can cry on cue because not many can do that! They either use eye drops or fake cry.
I loved the music! I could recognize songs from B1A4 and Infinite too! I loved being able to sing along to them! They definitely fit the mood of the scenes in the drama! One thing I'm baffled about during the drama, however, is that one scene where Woohyun "sings." I know he can clearly sing (since he's a SINGER) but the producers decided to play the original back track instead...anyway...
I would definitely rewatch this! It was so fun, I loved it all the way! (I don't usually rate things 10 out of 10 so 9 is pretty high!)

Honestly this drama was great, just plain fantastic. I watched this because I heard Jung Kyung Ho was in it, but stayed because after the first episode it just made me want to watch it some more.

I didn't think I'd be able to finish all 20 episodes and even thought about dropping it. But each episode intrigued me and forced me to keep on watching, it's the kind of drama that makes you hooked just like that. The plot is really great and the characters are even better.

The one thing that's really unique about this drama, is that it keeps you guessing. From the first episode all the way to the last, you never know what's going to happen next. You don't know who the good guy is or who the bad guy is. You don't know if you're rooting for the wrong team or the right one.

And it has everything a thriller needs; from violence to drugs to gorgeous guys in suits (and gorgeous guys out of suits kekeke..). It's a drama worth watching and if you haven't watched it yet, what are you waiting for?!

I have to say, this is the first drama that I watch without skipping or ffw over the boring parts... It's full of action, and even if repetitive at times (hospitals again and again, or the car accidents ) they did use these repetitions wisely to underline the effects of the time/history changes.

I did love the characters, not so much the cast, except the main protagonist. She was the only one really acting there.

I did not love the music... After watching more than 10 dramas it does feel all the same, I can't tell the difference between the music of one drama to the other.
