This was one of my favorite dramas. I found both of the lead characters to be funny. The one character that I found irritating, was the ex girlfriend. There were several side characters in this drama that made this fun..secretary Kim and the manager/friend and the main characters brother. They all helped this to be a delightful drama. There are some great kissing scenes in this drama, in my opinion. I liked that the main male lead wasn't wishy washy like in so many other dramas. When you decide you like a girl, let the world know.

To me, Faith felt like a wonderful combination of a great RPG video game and an old anime called Fushigi Yugi. There were times when the show dragged, as pointed out numerous times in other reviews, but for the most part, this drama was really great to watch.

This was my first "historical", and I use the word loosely because I understand that this is by no means a real historical, in that there is time travel and magic. The time travel aspect isn't really unique, especially with the recent crop of dramas this year utilizing it. However, the magic was a first for me, though I wish they had handled it better, or maybe utilized an explanation a little bit more. No one in the present seemed to be aware that magic ever existed, even when Eui Seon seemed to know a lot about Choi Young from her history books. You'd think that he could control lightning magic would have been a prominent focus.

The cast in this show was just amazing, seriously. Though, as it is my goal to someday have Lee Min Ho's babies, I may be a little biased. I had never even heard of Kim Hee Sun before this, and her acting in Faith has me interested in looking up her past dramas. I can't believe it's been 6 years since she has acted! The supporting cast was also a delight to watch, especially Dae Man, who I am glad we finally got a bit of his backstory later on in the drama. I kept wishing they'd tell us how he came to find Choi Young! I loved Lee Philip in Secret Garden, and I wish he had a bigger role in this drama, though I understand his eye surgery issues may have had a part in that. My main complaint on the cast probably lies more with the script than the actor himself. The King was just so whiny! I understand the idea that Kings are humans too, and I get how they tried to humanize him, but sometimes I just wanted to hit him over the head and tell him to man up already!

I make myself wait a day after finishing something before writing a review, because sometimes, you're just too close to it to accurately describe how you are feeling. And usually by that time, I have forgotten all about the music. But this show had such great music, it stuck with me. It really fit the tone of each scene remarkably well.

If you want something with lots of action, a sweet romance story (with next to zero PDA), and lots of kidnapping, murder, attempted murder, poisoning, subterfuge and court intrigue, then this is the drama for you! The romance remains the key plot point for the drama, so you have to like love stories or I think you might be rather bored by all of the posturing and pursuit of Eui Seon's heart.

Went in not expecting a whole lot but came out feeling refreshed & happy!

Totally enjoyed this one despite having reservations about the female lead. Both Oguri Shun & Ishihara Satomi did an amazing job in this Drama.

Rich Man Poor Woman was cute, funny, sweet & extremely endearing with a great score & OST. It's one of those Dramas that re-uses the same songs throughout & I know some may not like that but personally I feel it binds everything together thus helping maintain the mood. I think for me; that's what really made this Drama stick in my mind.

Plenty of problems. Typical Japanese style non-romantic kisses; random jumps in the story, not really anything earth-shatteringly new either as far as story goes & plot holes the size of mountains but somehow I just don't care one iota!

Definitely recommended if you're feeling a bit down, tired or sick.

What to say, what to say..wow, this drama was long. 45 eps...that's crazy. But watching them went by soooo fast. I didn't even realize it when I got to the last episode. The story is great!! It has romance, and a lot of that cliche drama stuff, but also a strong story line about family. The cast was phenomenal. I have to take my hat off for the lady who plays Hyun Soo's mom, and the Grandfather especially. They both had parts in the drama that were specifically designed to let them shine, and they did. Jung In is probably the most adorable lead actress ever, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that she calls Hyun Soo OPPA!!! Not many lead females call their love interest Oppa!!! It was great. I wasn't the biggest fan of the music at first, but as the drama continued on, it grew on me. I wouldn't rewatch this drama, just because it was sooooo long, and there are always new dramas to look forward to, but that doesn't mean this drama wasn't good. It was sweet, funny, romantic, and a family drama that will warm hearts.

Super Rookie is one of those dramas you need a reason to keep watching midway through- either you fell in love with a character, or you have to see the end. Complete with fan service, idols, comedy and a little corporate deviancy; Super Rookie will keep you entertained (for the most part) and has a feel good ending.
I watched super rookie for Eric (why else) and honestly even when the plot bored me, when there were too many long pauses accompanied by the ost music, I still fangirled over Eric’s face and beautiful body. Even though the majority of my time was spent fangirl squealing there were other good parts too. Episode 1-9 there is a good amount of fanservice of eric and oh ji ho (another lovely specimen) for us ladies. The story line is an original one that hasn’t been overused, you know Kang Ho’s secret could get out at anytime so the story increased the feeling of constant suspense. Funny supporting characters were well developed as Kang Ho’s friends and truly brought out the funny moments (to be honest, the brother is a show stealer). I loved that Kang Ho was the peoples man, and like naruto (I am watching that right now too) most people who met him, loved him and found they were fast friends.
What I didn’t like was the antagonist roles. There were so many antagonists it was really hard to keep rooting for the main character. The Lee Bong Sam character constantly completed actions that seemed to conflict with his character, I think the writers were trying to show his development but the actor didn’t bring that out very well. The executives who hated Kang Ho were just plain annoying especially with their fake laugh, but you do not know who is the most evil until the very end.
I love Han Ga In, but I didn’t love her role. In super Rookie she pulled an ugly duckling to swan move, which I found unrealistic mainly because of the seemingly 200% expansion of her wardrobe. Speaking of wardrobe I HATED that Kang Ho through the whole drama wore the same suits, oh that ground my gears so bad!! Poor Eric had the absolutely worst wardrobe I have ever seen for a lead male character in any kdrama and it really made me long for the days of Spy Mung Wol. Eric wasn’t the only culprit, most of the “corporate” suiting looked like poorly fitted 30’s gangster suits with none of the swag. Idk why but aside from the clothes everyones hair styling (except Han Ga In) was really bad too.
This is a good watch if you are just finishing a really serious drama or a super funny drama. Although his acting talent was still budding; Eric will keep you engaged as Kang Ho who is naive, yet street smart, good at everything except staying awake on the job, and you really do begin to hope he succeeds. This has got family drama elements, preached against all odds you too can succeed, and has light enough romance that tweens could watch no problem. Yes I got bored in the middle but that’s what fast forward is for, plus the pay off at the end was good.

Where do I begin? This drama covers so many different bases in one: single motherhood, affairs, contract relationships, family, betrayal, lies, and so much more. The plot although it started off a bit slow just snowballed from there. The last two episodes though just really boggled my mind with how many emotions I went through: I literally cried, I lauged, I smiled, got angry, was nervous, and excited. The ending as well had to be one of the best I've ever seen in a drama.

The bad points: The fashion and wardrobe of the characters at times was pretty horrendous, but otherwise there weren't really any.

The acting was one of the best I've ever seen, and I only really didn't care for the chracter of Kiri who was Kaoru's friend. Kiri could be such a B at times, but you couldn't help feeling sorry for her lonliness.

Music was okay, but got a bit repetive hence the lower score.

Will I watch this drama again? Definitely -it has gone to classic status in my drama portfolio. I can almost completely assure you that this drama will leave you with a fuzzy happy feeling at it's end and that you won't regret watching it!

This drama drew me in from the very beginning. Though it's only the second drama I've completed so far, it's really different from anything I would have expected of an Asian drama.

For once, romance is not the focal point of the plot--and that is actually really refreshing. The writers did an excellent job of keeping the story moving throughout all 28 episodes and kept me interested the entire time.

The acting is superb. And I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. Even the characters that I didn't like that much/didn't think were as well acted as compared to the rest of the characters still gave unbelievable performances.

I'm not a person that is easily moved to tears, but I cried my heart out throughout a number of the episodes leading to the conclusion and almost died of emotion during the last episode.

The music wasn't as distracting as it usually is in dramas--which is nice. The songs were good and subtle, and the ones sung by the characters in the actual drama were well done.

My only small, itsy bitsy complaint is that occasionally the chemistry between the two romantic leads seemed a bit flat sometimes. But, only sometimes. And my disappointment in that aspect was overshadowed by every other detail within the drama.

I only have one thing to say to those of you sitting on the fence about this drama: watch it. I highly doubt you will regret it. It is a masterpiece of acting, script-writing, and cinematography and I can't think of any better way I would have spent the 30+ hours I spent watching Bridal Mask.

This review may contain spoilers
I'm writing this right after watching the last episode... I've been repeating the last scene for more than an hour now nonstop... Let me just say that I'm deeply in love with this drama, I'm so in love and attached to the point my heart hurts now that it's finished...

Story: The story from the start to the end never ever failed me, the more you watch the more you WANT MORE !! It's the kind of story that touches your heart continuously and keeps your mind busy all the time. This drama is really special and unique, it so different from other dramas that I've watched before. My favorite theme is "revenge" and I have watched so many revenge dramas but they are absolutely nothing like this one. I would gladly explain why I loved the story so much but that would mean mentioning spoilers so I'll just say this "when you watch you'll understand why this drama is one of the best".

Acting: UHM TAE WOONG no matter what I say about him it won't do this guy any JUSTICE !! I loved his character the most he has done an amazing job and gave me an unforgettable performance. What makes this drama even more special is that EVERYONE did a WONDERFUL job and I do mean it when I say EVERYONE (guest characters, supportive characters and main characters they all did great). For once it's not only the main characters that shined others did shine too, each character managed to grab my attention not just the main ones. The characters in this drama are the most complex characters I have ever seen, you don't know who to hate and who to sympathize with, who is the victim and who is the devil.

Music: I loved the OST of this drama, it went so well with the story. The music contributed so much in the story it made it more real and intense. I loved 2 songs the 1st one is "Don't Love Me" (Saranghi Marayo) Sang by Uhm Tae Woong and the 2nd one I don't know what is the name of it so here is the link to it: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RJa1zpHSPQ&feature=relmfu).

Rewatch Value: I think I would watch it again I'm even thinking of watching the Japanese remake of it (and I'm no a person who would watch remakes but in this case I will). However, since TD is a mystery drama it might not be a rewatchable drama to some of you (cus the mystery part will be gone).

OVERALL: The Devil in one word? a MASTERPIECE. To everyone who hasn't seen this drama yet, what are you waiting for?? start watching it now... FYI this drama is the 1st K drama that got adopted into J drama (it was always the other way around Koreans adopting Japanese mangas/animes/dramas) but in this case no and that says a lot doesn't it?

This drama had the whole package for me personally. This drama in my opinion was excellent but with a few errors. I couldn't belive when I first watched it how similar my life was with the main character(not the rich thing though:D). She has an autistic younger brother like myself so she is very helpful to him. I realised that this had to be believable and it really was. The autistic boys acting was spot on and she really did care for him thorughout the story. But anyways back to the drama. The drama was fresh for me as I've never seen a drama with so many elements to it.It is very complex at times and you find yourself stuck to your computer screen. The acting is incredible and the way the bad girl(Moon Chae Won)is able to act so innocent and so evil at the same time is really incredible.A few flaws with it is the length although time passes quickly in the drama you may find yourself a few times screaming at a character to think for a second. But overall it isn't boring. And finally the chemistry between Han Hyo Joo and Lee Seung Ki is brilliant. I would definetly give this drama a ten out of ten and reccommend it for everyone!!

This is a great drama for those who want something a little calmer to watch, with a solid plot, a good sense of humour, a good dose of friendship mixed in & without blood, gore or organs.

I got a very peaceful feeling while watching it & the score is also fantastic. I especially love the opening sequence.

Eita's acting is very good in this one; I feel it really shows off how versatile an actor he can actually be. Could have done with a tiny bit more development but overall worth watching. :)

Unique, hilarious and oh-so-refreshing.

That's the best way to describe this sitcom. I have to say though, after reading the synopsis and hearing there would be constant flashbacks in this story my expectations weren't too high but after completing it, I can finally say that it genuinely blew me away.

Let me start by saying the flashbacks were never annoying and I realized after a couple of episodes that I thoroughly enjoyed them and they were essentially the entire backbone of the story. There was just SO MUCH going on in this sitcom. It truly has every little good bit of every good drama I've seen. It's fun. It's witty....and a bit insane (lol). But don't let those crazy/slapstick comedy moments fool you. There is so much more to this story than that. It's a sitcom about the strength (and craziness) of family, the unbreakable bond between friends and the courage it takes to take a chance at love. I felt like each scene of this sitcom was a piece of a puzzle and as the story progressed the pieces that once seemed to never fit together, finally combine to make a simplistic yet beautiful picture of how an average family and an average group of friends handle both the expected and unexpected moments in life. The small moments the characters shared with each other created the biggest impact on me. I found those sweet and simple scenes to be the most captivating moments of the entire story.

The cast behind this sitcom is the absolute best. Really. You can't get much better than this. Every single one them managed to create their own story in their own unique, quirky way and it just worked. I laughed, I loved and I cried for all their troubles and woes. They made it seem so easy, pulling off the Busan dialect, acting like crazy loons and yet it all felt so real and genuine. As if I was watching a documentary about the lives of these people in Busan and not some Korean sitcom. The fact that it was so relate-able to so many generations of youths is another plus. You cannot go through this sitcom without ever saying the words, "Dude, I'm just like that!" or "Omg...I know someone who does the same thing!" It's just so relate-able and I think that's what makes this thing so popular. Yoon Hae and Shi Won's young, naive, and crazy love has truly left a deep impression on me. Seo In Guk was FANTASTIC in his role as Yoon Jae and not to go too much into the deep end here, but this guy really knows how to put emotion behind his words. He's angsty, passionate and not to mention hilarious (much like the rest of his crazy friends) and the best thing about it is that it NEVER gets too cheesy or overbearing. Eunji also blew me away with her acting skills. She truly is wise beyond her.... what is this....19 years?! She's only 19?! No way. I would never have guessed, with her flawless acting. One other thing to note here about the characters: THOSE PARENTS! In most drama/sitcoms I have a tendency to overlook these insignificant people, but Shi Won's parents were just so gosh darn lovable! The constant curses and arguing were just so entertaining to me. Some might find this a bit over the top, but I like the way the writers stuck to their gut with these characters and weren't afraid to make them loud and proud. They were such a hoot and I will continue to love them forever! :3

Ah, the music. Well, if you're the type to get so caught up in the story like I was, you most likely won't notice, BUT the music is just fantastic! As a sitcom with many flashbacks to the 90's, it is only appropriate to put in music from the 90's. YES, THAT'S RIGHT! Throwback songs from the 90's! Ah, how I wish I could go back to those times~

This also seems like the first show I've come across in a while, that I wouldn't mind coming back to again. It's just that good! I have a feeling I'll be missing this show and it's characters fairly soon. I don't think I'll see another drama/sitcom as genius and entertaining as this for a while. So it worth a re-watch? Uhhh...HECK YES! :D

Wow. This is by far one of the longest reviews I've written so far (which should tell you something about this sitcom *wink wink hint hint nudge nudge*). So if you've made it this far, I thank you for bearing with me. *highfive* :) This is the point where I should exit outta here with something fun, I guess....hmmmm.

*sheep baaahha* :D

What do you get when you mix Police Academy and Fujigaya Taisuke? The fun that is Beginners!, that's for certain.

Although this drama was on my watch list long before it premiered, I wasn't expecting much. I thought it would be okay and possibly pretty funny. It was both of those things, yet it was much more.

Beginners!, for me, dove deeper than your typical do-your-best, slice-of-life type drama. It included each and every characters quirks and fears; in other words, it gives us the motivations and objectives of each character in full view (even if that reveal is step by step, episode by episode).

Storywise, it was fairly general, but the acting made up for that in my opinion. My favorites in the drama (not that I'm biased) were Taipi and Hiromitsu. They were both strong and had the most convincing characters in the show.

I also felt that Gouriki Ayame's performance as Hiro, though stilted at times, was much more likeable than say her performance in Asuko March! She did have very good chemistry with Fujigaya, at any rate.

I can't complain about the music. Wannabe by Kis-My-Ft2 is a great song for this drama, and it is always stuck in my head.

Overall, Beginners! comes out with a lot of plucky, heart-warming moments (and even a little romance). It's also just a lot of fun.

I just rewatched this spontaneously. I didn't think I would, but I really wanted to see something with Hwang Jung Min in it. He's so great, he takes a simple guy and infuses him with life. The drama has a slow start, but really starts picking up halfway through. And you can see the cast improve throughout the drama. Really a cute story.

Skip Beat! is one of my favorite anime/manga that's why I was really nervous for this one. I was afraid that it wouldn't give justice to the manga, but I was so glad that it turned out to be good.

The story was still the same with a little bit alterations here and there. One of these is the importance they gave to Mr. Du, Dun He Lian's manager. His character is a truly likable one. He supports his talent in everything and, of course, even Gong Xi. He is amusing because he is the one who always teases Lian and the one who, in a way, became a bridge for them to get closer. In this adaptation, Lian is kinder, though his professional aura is still there. In addition, they threw two characters who are for laughs, but I think they should not have added them because they're just flat characters.

The ending is left open, inviting questions, but I guess it's because the manga was (and still is) ongoing, However, I think it's wrapped up nicely that it isn't irritating that it left the viewer to his imagination of what could have happened to the characters.

There might be exaggerated scenes, but remember that this is adapted from a manga. The scenes aren't even that exaggerated compared to its original source. Anyway, I just wished that they animated the "animated" parts better, like the Gong Xi demons, because they may make some cringe.

With regards to the acting, in my opinion, Siwon and Donghae did a good job portraying Dun He Lian and Bu Po Shang, respectively. I wasn't really expecting much from them since I only saw them as singers and dancers of Super Junior (I love them, BTW), so I was surprised of the act they did. Though Siwon didn't show a menacing or scary enough Lian, at least he managed to deliver the emotions well. Donghae, with all his adorableness, showed a truly likable Shang because of his portrayal, though I thought he didn't have that much air of pride as he should have had. Anyway, it's such a shame that it is obvious that their voices are dubbed.

Ivy Chen, on the other hand, portrayed Gong Xi well, but I feel like it being a live action made it difficult to show fully how and who her character is. Also, she had some expressions which looked unnatural... or quite not right. Another notable character is Qin, who was portrayed very well by Bai Bianca. Her interactions with Gong Xi was pleasant to see because their friendship was clearly seen.

Of course, there is Mr. Du as well. Part of why his character became likable is, of course, because of the actor. The child who acted as Marie was good, as well! The other casts did acceptable to good jobs.

I love all the songs in this drama. The opening is catchy and is giving a good vibe, exactly like a good beginning. The ending song gives me a nostalgic feeling, just the right emotion I feel whenever something is coming to a close. The other insert songs and some instrumentals are placed just at the right moments to enhance the feels of the scenes.

In all honesty, I couldn't remember how many times I've re-watched this series already. I guess I've really became attached to it. Anyway, perhaps this is good to re-watch whenever one just want to feel good or stare at the handsomeness of Siwon and Donghae.

This is fun to watch, especially if you are able to disregard the exaggerations and some poor animation.

I recommend this to:
- those who want some lighthearted/rom-com shows
- fans of Skip Beat! ('cause you may want to give this a try)
- fans of Super Junior (particularly of Siwon and Donghae)

I really liked it. It tackled some real raw life issues that happen like Family, Love, Life and Work. It shows everyone has problems and friendship can work through it. They had a lot of interesting characters too. Each of them had unique problems. Its all very interesting. However, they had so many love triangles it was hard to keep up with who loved who. I was getting ready to write down the whole love web. I still liked it. I cried a lot. I felt their pain and I was able to relate to them. I could look at their lives and see I had the same problems. It made me feel better about those problems too.
