The story line was about 3 different couples and there different relationship problems, family acceptance and other dramas. It does tell what reality is like for couples nowdays, but for me it dragged on for agess.
to be honest i was more attracted to the supporting role's characters's relationship, every week i tuned in just to watch them. Watch this if you have a lot of time to spare and your board.

It was only a half hour show. Each episode had 4 or 5 minutes, of flashbacks. Without all the flashbacks, more of the story could have been told, characters could have been more developed.
With all the flashbacks, we are being told a few things; Possibly the writers, were too lazy to finish the story, and only went with the synopsis of each episode. Could it be the stars had other schedules and could complete all the scenes? Or did the writers and producers really not have enough confidence in the actors to fill 6 hours? If not it should not have been written.

It did get a bit draggy in the plot, mostly I am not sure what they were going for in the middle, it took from the show in my books. They left us with an ending that is questionable.... Which is why I do not have it as perfect.
Would I watch it again? Yes I would, will I review it in a blog? Yes I would Would I recommend it to people? Yes I would.

First, the negative: Mike He's line delivery only had two settings - loud and louder. It seemed he practically yelled his way through each scene. I kept wanting to tell him to lower his voice, I could hear him just fine!
But the biggest blot on this otherwise good drama was the ending. I literally scoured the internet trying to find more information to make my understanding of the ending more conclusive. No luck. Seemed like everyone else thought the ending sucked just as much as I did.
Now for the positive: Holy crap! Was that a real kiss? Double holy crap! I can't believe they actually went THERE! Finally! An Asian drama not afraid to touch the "S" word! If TW dramas are like this, I'm gonna watch more!
Seriously, the OTP had really good chemistry and I loved the scenes of them together. I've since discovered that Mike He has this way of looking at his co-lead that makes you think he both worships the ground she walks on and wants to eat her alive at the same time. It's quite a potent mix :)
My overall and rewatch ratings for this drama would've been higher if the ending had been handled differently. Since watching this drama about a year ago, I've watched quite a few more TW dramas and just yesterday finished my second Mike He drama, Devil Beside You. I'm more used to the way TW dramas characterize the female leads, and I'm adjusting to the over-acting. So I went back and skimmed through a few scenes and discovered that my initial perception of Love Keeps Going has remained the same. It's a good story with good actors and great chemistry, and I don't even dislike the final plot twist; but for the ending and Mike's shouting, this would be one of my favorite TW dramas.

GTO: New Year Special! Winter break with a hot-blooded class

One of the reasons I enjoyed the new special was for its good storyline. Being able to utilize Saejima and Ryuji in a greater role was always a hope for the series as a whole, so bringing those two in more made me appreciate the story more. Also, the story didn't fail in bringing in some rather serious issues but in a relatable way.
Of course, the cast was good as always, but I think that with the more consistent story, Onizuka and co. acted a bit better, and we finally get to see Yamamoto Yusuke and Shirota Yu used to further the plot rather than as caricatures (even if Saejima is a natural caricature).
One thing I enjoyed most about the special was its bawdier moments, which were often brought on more by misunderstandings than anything else. These parts were funny (especially the moments between Kanzaki and Fuyutsuki).
Overall, I enjoyed the New Year's special and cannot wait for the graduation special this spring. I'm certainly going to rewatch this later.

I liked the story of Devil Beside you. It wasn't perfect by a long shot, but it was engaging and fun. The OTP had lots of chemistry and hot kisses, so that was definitely a plus.
One of the best parts of the drama was when Mike He's character, Ahmon, was showing his tender side with Qi Yue. Though there were times when he overacted, those moments were when his acting ability shined, and made me a true fan of his.
I enjoyed all the secondary characters as well, and the secondary plots involving them did not feel forced or trite. Loved Ahmon's dad, he was funny.
If I have any real issue with the drama, it's in Qi Yue's character and how she's something of a pushover, but I've found that that's pretty much par-for-the-course for TW dramas. Overall, I would be willing to watch the drama again, especially to sigh of Mike He :)

I am every time amazed how good the Japanese present friendship... They do it so well, when I see a good friendship in a Korean drama, I automatically think someone Japanese works for the crew, haha~ I don't know how they do, but I always have tears in my eyes when I see these lonely souls come together and become support for each other.
I can see some parallels in this drama with "Last Friends" (which, by the way, also has Eita and Ueno Juri as leads). But the Last Friends had a darker and 'saltier' feel to it, while this one, though again sometimes sad had a brighter feel.
Many problems are raised in the show and the first one is the loneliness of a modern person. While a lot of people are around them every day, they find their piece with people whom they have never met at all, and those people understand their feelings in the 140 characters they can squeeze into Twitter update.
Or not being able to be honest with yourself in the first place. I noticed in this drama, that it became like some kind of an addiction and illness for the characters, not being honest, that is. Lying to yourself and not sharing your feelings for so long, that when you find people who will actually listen to you not matter what you say, and no matter what you confess to... you continue lying to yourself, while these people actually start understanding you better that you do it yourself...that was really touching, and very well played throughout the drama.
This will be rare of me, but I want to complain about the music. The songs were great, but the instrumental parts always dragged me out of the moment. You see, they used instrumentals from American movie "Holiday" and English movie "Love Actually". Though, I must confess they chose the best pieces of the Scores, I couldn't get into the moment and not imagine the scenes of the other movies the music sounded through, I think the Japanese have enough talented composers to take over score writing, so ganbare~
I am definitely rewatching this one, as I am a big sucker for well done friendship stories, and this drama became one of them for me.

Full of cliches and ridiculous plot lines, I can see why some people would be turned off by it. But if you have ever found yourself wishing at the end of the drama that they would have spent a little more episode time at the end showing the happy couple doing happy lovey dovey things, then this drama is for you! That's not to say this drama is also roses and being happy, but they definitely do have a lot of couple stuff that most dramas miss out on because of all of the angst.
Though, there was plenty of angst for those who like an ample dash of it in their dramas. I personally hated the entire Yoon Joo storyline, and seriously, why even make Sang Hee a character if you are just going to forget he exists after episode 8? And yes, it's true the last episode did seem a little pointless since by that point you knew how it was going to end. But when it's all said and done, this drama was a lot of fun to watch them try and work their way through the lies, and then try and figure out how to make it work once it wasn't a lie.
And, seriously. That coke kiss scene is so incredibly hot in context. I've seen the clip before and I have to say, it's not nearly as hot unless you have the episode before that with the karaoke kiss to compare it to that it becomes ridiculously hot :p Ki Joon was such a great leading male, I loved watching him. I can't believe how much I went from disliking his hair in the first episode (that man does not look good with bangs!) and hating his voice to loving him as much as I do now at the end. He was one romantic dude!
Anyway, before I make this even more unbearably long, I just want to say to give this drama a shot! You might just find out that it was worth the few days it takes to watch it :)

There are two things that are so wrong with this drama:
1. It totally sucks after about episode 10 when it just gets so repetitive.
2.Before body switch Kang Kyung Joon and after body switch Kang Kyung Joon are NOTHING alike. Which defeats the point of having a body switch storyline. Grrrrrrrrr.
The first two episodes of this were brilliant, I loved them. Shin Won Ho was brilliant, despite being a newcomer. I will deffo check out some of his other work because he's so slick and cool in this. Except he then goes and spends the rest of the series lying in bed looking pretty but not really adding to the story.
I don't know if this is just me but I found all of the other characters a bit annoying, especially Gil Da Ran. And there's nothing worse than an annoying main character. I also didn't like Suzy's character either, which makes me sad because I loved her in Dream High. Just another let down in this drama.
The ending was the worse part. This drama went from being awesome and funny in the first episodes, to bearable with some funny moments in the middle. And then just pure terrible at the end. Did the writers suddenly get ill or something? Because I cannot see how the ended up writing such crap for the last episodes. It literally makes me angry!
Overall, I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this drama. I think it's one of, if not he worst drama I've ever watched. Want my advice? Stay well away and save your time for a drama that doesn't turn to dog dodo half way through!

This drama also kind of gave me something back, that being the most beautiful unrequited love. Before my drama-addiction I used to love this theme, but in Korean Dramas it is always somewhat tainted by greed and usually just gets ugly. And that is why this drama made me finally go doki-doki (which has'nt happened ina while).

I can't really say the plot's the best I've ever seen, but it has some good points : in each episode is about the story of 2 or three of the boys, even if there is one story put in foreground. And you only have the resolution of the story put in foreground at the end of the episode.
There are always inexpected characters or situations that bump in the story when you await them the less.
About the acting, I was a bit desappointed a first (but only at first)about Wu di Wen (li Zhi Wen)...his laughing doesn't sounf natural at all, but it this the only reproach I can express. Otherwise, all the boys are so gorgeous, you can't not find one you like.
I was bewitched by the opening title...just so cool ! ( "tang" from "Go Go club"). As 3 of the four boys are from "Go Go Club", most of the ost are sung by the group. I find them good, even if it's not the best ost I've ever heard.
For the rewatch...I'm not sure...once you've seen it, it's ok, right ? I'm not part of these people who rewatch things again and again, so I can't give a proper opinion...sorry about this !
I really consider this as a very good drama, and I would advise everyone who loves romantic comedies with some chinese humour :)

From the beginning this drama draws you in. This drama made me cry my heart out (no joke I cried for hours...yeah i dramathoned this drama). The story is just amazing. Despite Kim Tak Goo facing many difficulties he always has a smile on his face, moving everyone around him. His character just captures your heart. Kim Tak Goo Fighting!!!
So if you are in the mood of watching a drama that will make you cry, smile, laugh, then I recommend you to watch this one.
This is a must see!!!

I haven't read the manga, but i love both versions of the japanese drama. It's honestly one of my all-time favorite and i found the korean version completely off.
The characters seemed like the dull version of the original, while the story felt rather stretched. The atmosphere was totally different, after a few episodes it felt like an independent drama and not even a good one.
And even if i tried not to compare, i could only save Lee Hyun Woo's acting and the hilarity of the show (again, not as dominant as in the original version).
In the end - taken alone - TTBY ranks lower than all other dramas of this genre i've watched.
