I don't get why some ppl gave up on this drama?! I started it few days back and finally caught up with everyone and finished it today. It was really good better than what I've expected !! Let me just say this "Missing You is a drama that you'd appreciate for the acting more than the story".

Story:
it was a good melodrama not the best but it's good, at the beginning you would "think" the story will take on a certain path but then BAM everything changes the whole story change !! and that's what I loved the most not the story itself but the way it changed.

Acting: IT'S THE REASON I KEPT WATCHING
It was BEYOND WORDS !! I was amazed/stunned by their level of acting hmmm let's see who shall I begin with... definitely Yoo Seung Ho !! I already liked this guy but I never knew his talent could extend to that level I can't even find words good enough to praise his performance he is the BEST THING in this drama without "Harry" this drama wouldn't have been as intense and interesting. Harry is one of the best characters I have ever seen I'll never forget those expressions of his. My 2nd surprise was Micky I was never a fan of him and I never liked his acting (to those of you who think the same of him as me I think you should watch this drama cus you'll change your mind like I did) he was really amazing he showed me some really good acting skills and I enjoyed his character enjoyed watching him and I look forward to his upcoming dramas. Last but not least Yoon Eun Hye she proved that she's a talented actress she's not just good in romcom only she can pull off such a complex sad agonist character like Lee Su Yeon I praise her for that and I'm so happy she chose melo (as a first timer in this genre she did good very proud of her).

Music:
The OST's were good the songs went well with the story... my favorite one was (Just Look at You) I can't stop listening to it's a very beautiful song with beautiful lyrics.

Rewatch:
It's not a re-watchable drama even for those who re-watch stuff but I might go back and watch Harry's scenes (Yoo Seung Ho's character) yes !! that's how good he was.

Overall:
Missing You is a sad heavy drama that's true and it's not one of the best melodramas out there but it's certainly is the best in terms of acting/performance and that alone is more than enough reason for you to watch. There are many good stories out there but not so many with OUTSTANDING performance like this one not so many with unforgettable characters such as Harry he's the reason I gave this drama 8 (Can you believe the whole drama turned out to be so good solely because of Yoo Seung Ho (Harry)??) AMAZING really.

This drama is seriously great! I loved every minute of it, there was not a single bit that I found boring or uninteresting. The story line was just too great. Everything flowed well so perfectly! All different genres fit in together so perfectly. This drama literally has everything from: comedy, romance, tragedy, action, suspense etc and the list can go on from a-z.

Also all the actors were so great! Each and every one of them portrayed their characters so well. Really hats off to all of them, they all did a great job! There was not a single actor, in my opinion, who didn't portray their characters well or didn't do a good job. Seriously it was amazing!

About the music what can i say. All the songs are so great! I really love the OST of this drama. My favourite sound track would definitely have to be Suddenly sang by Kim Bo Kyung. That song is just too great! And I think I have played it sooo much I got the lyrics memorised xD

When it comes to rewatching this drama I would definitely do so, but I think I wouldn't be able to handle all the feelings I went through while watching it the first time round. Seriously you should have seen me. I looked like a mess haha (my mum thought I was gone mad or something)

But yeah overall this drama is just perfect! So i just had to give it a perfect score xD It is definitely one of my favourite dramas. The only criticism I have is that the last episode seemed a bit too rushed because it did lack some minor details. I won't mention what those minor details are because then it will become a bit of a spoiler. So if you want to know what those are then i suggest you watch this drama :p

Hwang Jung-Eum stars as Jung Man-Ok who is a plain Jane and a black belt martial artists with a major interest in fashion. Her introductions to Kpop stars Tae-Ik (Min-Woo) and Kang-Hwi (Ki-Woong)were nothing short of dramatic but funny, to say the least. Let's get this out there, we ALL hated No Min Woo's hair in this one! (He's still so HOT and multi-talented!) Moving on, but we all loved the adorable Park Ki-Woong! When it comes to couple preference I secretly shipped Man-Ok and Kang-Hwi together. Here everyone has a sob-story that will melt your heart and make it impossible to choose. I hope you enjoy the 32 episode journey and get the love match that you hoped for.

Ok this was RLY good. I enjoyed every minute of it. I think that my biggest grip is that they could have used the supernatural powers a little more. But I can even overlook that.

The acting was amazing. I enjoyed the chemistry b/t the 2 leads. I also enjoyed the fact that they didn't over or under act their parts individually. The supporting roles were played exceptionally well & not a single 1 was unnecessary.

The fact that they were able 2 explain Eun Soo's trip 100 yrs further back into the past, & it actually made sense made this the best time travel drama of the yr 4 me. The others were a little weak in that area.

I rly enjoyed watching this & will re-watch it in the future. I suggest that if ur looking 4 a drama that is exciting & has an ending that will make u happy; then watch this drama. The characters will draw u in & the writers have made sure that u won't be disappointed @ any point throughout the drama.

Now 2 gush about Lee Min Ho, & be a total fangirl. OMG he killed me! I know he is a good actor, but damn! I fell in love w/ him again. I can't wait 4 him 2 do a new drama, b/c I just don't think I can live w/o him right now.....LOL! OK I just had 2 let that out.

Serial! Watch this drama not just for the eye-candy, but b/c it will draw u in & not leave u wanting. ENJOY!

First things first kim bum gave me butterflies. His jealous emotions were on point. The show was just alright. Dr ban seok was just so hilarious with his expressions while his girlfriend was over the top and alil annoying. So there was no clear ending to me like who got married or hooked up. Its fun to watch

This drama got my attention because of Ikuta Toma. But in the end I get to love all the characters.
This drama is about Jotaro, who struggles in Tokyo because of job and unsteady life. He then decides to take a job in local revitalization team in Shimanto, small town in Kyushu. It really sounds boring. But the true is, that this drama is really nice, relaxing and somehow touching. It's not forced and the storyline is progressing in good pace. We can see the beautiful nature of Shimanto, the river and the bridge. We can see local elderly people and local problems. Somehow it is nearer to common people's hearts. It's not a flashy story about Tokyo, that's why I liked it a lot.
So we have Jotaro, who can't find his way of life. Kahori, the doctor who has another dream. The mysterious Morishita, nurse with a dark past. Hiroki, whose past is always chasing him. Junichi, who never stepped outsite of his beloved town and Sayori, who is not really living a happy married life. This drama is simple, but great. Not to mention the greatest opening song in the universe sung by main cast :)

This was truly one of those dramas I really had been looking forward to watching, after hearing they would pair up Yoon Eun Hye and Yoochun. To me it sounded like the recipe for success. I know many has looked forward to it just as me. However, if you plan on watching it, make sure your hopes are not up too high.

When I think about the story itself, it is actually not that bad, it has potential, but somehow the execution of it misses that uphm! that is needed. It is definitely a tearjerker, but if there is something like 'too much of the good thing' then that might be it in this case. There is a LOT of crying in this drama, even for a melodrama.

All though the drama for me started off really good, it just went downhill, the more episodes that aired. The first episodes are really well played out by the child actors, and to be honest for me in some ways, they out shined their seniors. Especially, Yeo Jin Goo impressed me with his version of younger Jung Woo. I really am going to look forward to his progress in the acting industry.

Regarding the first part of my assumed dream-paring.
I must say that Yoochun does definitely not disappoint in this drama with his acting. I really like his portrayal of Jung Woo, but unfortunally I miss some chemistry between him and Eun Hye.
When it comes to Eun Hye, who happens to be one of my favorite actresses, I can not help but feel a bit disappointed... I did not feel excited about her acting at all in this drama. Not happy to admit that, being her fan, but hopefully she can come back strong in her next drama.

The music in this drama, some of it was good, some bad, nothing outstanding. My favorite song was probably 'Reminds Me of You' with Byul and Shorry.

Obviously, this drama really has no rewatch value to me, except for maybe the first 3-4 episodes. But, overall I think it is still an okay drama. However it is also still a drama that does not make me the least bit excited.

I am actually glad this drama is over, I would really not survive if it got more extension.

This drama started magically, I mean it, when I watching the first 2 episodes I was weeping from the cuteness ad genius acting of the child actors. It will be very rude of me not to mention that I fell for Yeo JinGoo... totally and forever. That boy is not acting, he is actually living every damn second of his role. There are so many moments I would like to highlight in his acting, but this particular part I must write here: the part when we are shown the children holding each other's bloody hands and their faces were shown so scared and alarmed, and then suddenly the separation of hands... and JongWoo's face at the scene in front of his eyes... I was honestly hyperventilating from tears, as I couldn't take the beauty and genius acting, but at the same time the heaviness of the scene... one of the most memorable scenes in my dramalife.

As I discovered throughout this drama, I am not a fan of melodramas and get bored or long revenge stories, I, of course, kept coming back, as the acting, the set-up, the aura of the drama were dragging me in (tell me, if you were me, would you be so cold hearted and leave Yoochun and Yoo SeungHo hanging? you wouldn't, especially when they were doing a great job).

I must say Yoochun's JongWoo is a really great character, whom I came to love with all my heart. And the interesting fact I noted, that Yoochun had paid a lot of attention how Yoo JinGoo had played JongWoo, and was actually not creating an adult version, but continuing from where JinGoo had left JongWoo. And I really admire that fact, that made me love Yoochun more as a n actor. I must say this is his best role yet.
Can't say anything more than neutral about adult SooYeon, though I love-love-love Yoon EunHee, her SooYeon was boring to me, I saw strength in her only in the last episode for a couple of minutes, the other times, she was either supported either by Harry, or JongWoo... nothing like her child version who went after the boy she loved and got kidnapped with him.
I cannot also leave SeungHo's Harry. Though, of course, not my favourite character in the drama (duh), he did a splendid job! There was not a second I didn't believe his Harry, not a single tear, which went unnoticed, bravo~

The music was ok, nothing to scream about, I have downloaded only one song from the OST, which is rare for me, well, MBC can't create awesome OSTs every time...

About rewatch value... I'll come back, I think, BUT only for the first 3 episodes and the last part of the last episode... I am done with it.

I finished this drama special last night (this morning) at around 1:00 am. There was so much adrenaline pumping through me that I wanted to write my review right then, but at the same time I had to digest this masterpiece for a while first. Because this is a masterpiece, and here's why.

First, I will say that if you like Kdramas, this one is absolutely unique in the entire genre. I've seen over 100 and nothing even seems to have been made on the same planet as this. So it definitely has the uniqueness factor - check.

Secondly, because it was a special rather than a full drama, it has a nice short run time of only 8 episodes, so it is great for those with ADHD or who like Kdramas but not the fact that they tend to be so long. Actually, my only real complaint about this drama is that there isn't more of it!

Of course, the first two positive things I've said about this drama are just shallow fluff and not really the reasons I called it a masterpiece. But they are good reasons that I think this is the ultimate drama for introducing noobs to Kdramas (particularly American noobs as those are the kind I know best).

But now on to the real meat of the matter -- why is this a masterpiece, and not just a Korean masterpiece, but possibly a masterpiece of television, period?

1. VISUALS! Did I say visuals? Oh, and visuals. This is one of the most singularly beautiful (and eerie) things I've ever watched. The PD is Kim Yong Soo and going foward I will watch anything he directs (he directed Equator Man, which while it has its plot flaws, no one can deny its cinematography is stunning). Every camera shot is perfectly framed for maximum visual and emotional impact. At times it felt more like watching a series of paintings or artistic photographs pass by rather than film. The visual harmony between the stark modern architecture, the snow, the shadows and even the physical characteristics of the actors themselves and how they are framed in each and every shot demonstrates tremendous forethought and superior aesthetic awareness. I could have watched this drama with the sound and subs off and still enjoyed it; that's how beautiful it is.

2. Acting. Considering the youth of this cast, the acting was quite good, and this drama could not have been pulled off without their sublime efforts because the claustrophobic, character-driven nature of this drama requires great acting. I read on Dramabeans that when the kids were cast that the writer cared more about physical type (because the visuals and theme were that important to her) than acting ability and that most of the actors were considered relatively inexperienced at the time; although, we know most of them very well now (Woo Bin and Sung Joon, for example). I found this revelation startling in light of the brilliance of their acting in White Christmas.

3. Music. Much like the visuals, the music was also all perfectly thought out at every moment to achieve maximum emotional effect. And for we English speakers, there is deft use of some popular tunes like AC/DC's Back in Black, Arcade Fire's Wake Up and Massive Attack's Teardrop (aka the theme song from House), just to name a few. This actually is my favorite soundtrack of any Kdrama I've seen because much of the music was recognizable and that just added to the overall impact of how well it was used to increase the emotional impact of the scenes and theme, rather than just as background music like so many soundtracks. The soundtrack in this drama practically takes on a life of its own and White Christmas would not be the same without it.

4. Theme & Writing. No bones about it, this is a DARK drama and not for the faint of heart. But once again, what makes it great is that it is not dark in the usual twisted crazy parent, birth secret, killing for money, insane makjang way of most dark Kdramas. This is dark because of the theme and the theme is a very simple and universal one relatable to anyone anywhere (that I am not going to go into here because I don't want to give anything away). Much like with the visuals and the music, the writing was also very focused in this drama, without any of the meandering, unfocused, repetitiveness that plagues the live shoot portion of so many Kdramas. Sure it was only 8 episodes, but every scene, every word, of those 8 episodes was perfectly thought out to elucidate the main theme with nothing extraneous and nothing left out either. EXCEPT....

There was one flaw in this otherwise perfect drama and it's a pretty major plot hole that occurs in the last episode that sent my bulls*** radar pinging. And despite my great love of this drama I refuse to let the writer off. If you've seen it, you probably know what I mean. However, I understand why the writer had to do what she did for the overall structure and theme of the drama, and, therefore, I forgive her. Because, in the wake of this glorious tour de force, I am willing to let a little final-hour-what-the-f**ckery slide.

In summation, watch this drama! You will NOT be disappointed. And if by same crazy miracle you are, there is a scene in episode 6 where all the guys take their shirts off, so hold on until there at least!

I'm on a Jo In Sung kick right now so even though Shoot for the Stars is very outdated, I thought the premise sounded fun and it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try…

Story: Predictable but it had a lot of heart. It never got draggy and the pacing was well done. Since the OTP had a straightforward romance with no misunderstandings, it made for a really enjoyable watch. The ending was =)

Acting/Cast: Well of course I knew Jo In Sung going in and how well he could act, but I was kind of unsure about the lead actress. I found her portrayal of Sora spot on but her character is kind of loud and annoying in the beginning. When you get used to her, you will come to accept her for who she is. I was also completely surprised by the amazing chemistry between the leads. It was soo good and worth watching just for their romance. I really liked the side characters that were apart of their posse. I didn’t however, like the second female and male leads. Their characters were so not redeemable and it made ALL of their scenes a waste of screentime in my opinion.

Music: What you would expect from an oldie.

Rewatch: Definitely would watch again in the near future cause the pacing was good and I loved the leads together.

Overall you should watch this is you’re a fan of JIS or if you like heartwarming dramas with lots of romance.

My main motivation for watching this drama was Narimiya Hiroki. I wanted to see his acting as a father in this drama. He portrayed the character and the feelings of the character very well in my opinion. The character Takumi is an awkward character who has many insecurities and isn't able to express himself well. I think Narimiya Hiroki was right on the dot in portrayal of the Takumi. I also liked the younger version of Takumi. He did a great job too. I like the fact that this story was told from Mio's point of view. I was also impressed by the little boy who plays Yuji. His acting was really good.

Although at first the story moves slowly but I ended up liking the pace since the story was good the way it was told.

I really liked the deep bond the the Aio family have. Despite the flaws each character have, they each accept each other for who they are. There are misunderstandings but they always manage to be truthful to each other in the end. I really liked that part of the story. That's what a real family should be like in my opinion.

This drama showed the struggles each character had to face and how they overcame all of them by being there for each other.

This is simply such a sad yet very touching and beautiful story of a family.

The theme song for this drama Kizuna by Orange Range is really nice as well. While I was watching this drama, it kept playing in my head.

You don't necessary have to be a Narimiya Hiroki fan to enjoy this drama. This drama has a lot of good points. It is really worth watching.

If it will motivate you, Miura Haruma also has a cameo/small part in this show.

Overall, this drama is really worth watching.

Rooftop Prince is an extremely well thought out (and thought provoking), laugh out loud comedy, and above all, a love story. Crown Prince Lee Gak awakes one morning to discover the tragic death of the Crown Princess, and vows to do whatever it takes to discover the truth behind her murder. He puts together a team of the three most intelligent and skilled citizens of Joseon, and starts looking for clues; but the mysterious and magical properties of fate transport them three hundred years into the future. Here reincarnations of a still living princess and the other main characters struggle to escape a similar demise. Now it's up to the Prince and his new entourage to not only adapt to the modern world, but figure out what fate wants them to get right and prevent history from repeating itself. But first, they must survive living off the rooftop of the blunt and energetic city girl who's searching for a past of her own. Strangely, she seems to have ties to all those from former Joseon, despite being the only one with a face and name no one can remember.

Acting: The acting was brilliant on all sides. I do want to point out though, because this is a COMEDY, a few of the characters or more serious scences can seem a little over exaggerated at times. If you're able to look past this though, you should find this very enjoyable.

Music: Music was a 10/10. Very moving and matches well with the emotional scenes. I've had the songs stuck in my head long after I've finished watching. And I'm not tired of them yet!

Rewatch Value for me is really high. Despite my uncertainty at times, this show undeniably had me laughing and crying more than any other I've ever watched. I very much look forward to rewatching this drama that stole my heart.

Overall, I am floored by how spectacular this drama was. From the high caliber of the comedy, to the plot, the music, and the ROMANCE!!! (normally, I'd touch on this more, but I don't want to give anything away; it speaks volumes on its own). I enjoyed this SO much in fact, that it only took me three days to complete, and I wasn't bored once! Anyone whose watched a lot of dramas will tell you, that's crazy! I sincerely regret not picking this one up sooner. I hope that you find it just as enjoyable

First and most i watched this Drama from the reviews it got and i thought why not try it. Here it goes.

The Story: A story about a boy who wanted to make his dreams come true of owning a store. This individual goes through a lot of problems (involving rich chebole family) throughout the drama what happens well i will leave that for you to see :)

Actors, apart from the supporting actors the main once seem to be a bit awkward between each other. Han Tey Hang gave it all his when it comes to the emotional scenes and you could feel his pain and suffering, but for Jin Shim it felt like dry wood to be honest i didn't connect with her at ALL.

Overall: After episode 20 this drama just took forever to get to the point and when it did, it left me scratching my head. I fely like i missed a whole episode. I think the writer was trying to hard in my opinion to reach that melo-dramatic-over-the-top story line. It was funny at times but i kind of wished i didn't waste my time on it :( enjoy and let me know if i made the wrong judgement of this drama.
