This review may contain spoilers
This is seriously my favorite drama. No matter how many I watch, I can't think of any of them as better then Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. I absolutely love it.

The whole story is beautiful. It's innocent, refreshing, a little bit exaggerated at times, but still wonderful. There's a rather unexplainable Titanic sort of feel to the entire drama, except, it doesn't end sad (in my opinion that feel comes from the music, which is amazing, by the way. I even put it on my iPod I love it so much.)

This may be a little spoiler-ish, not a lot, but just a little (talking about the personality of one of the main characters):

To some Nao may seem like a very selfish girl, who only thinks about herself, and I can understand that, but really when you think about it and really consider her life and imagine yourself in her position, can you blame her? Can you really say she should know better? And besides, doesn't she seem to grow up at the end?

-END-

Point is, I LOVE Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, and I highly recommended it. I've watched it too many times to count, and I plan to watch it again.

To be completely honest, I did not like this drama at all. The whole storyline of Koizora is poor and rather confusing. It's as if the author only wanted to torture the characters, thereby, making any soft-hearted viewer want to just breakdown and cry for the characters sake.

As I watched, I became so annoyed with the story that I didn't even watch the last episode. So, maybe I shouldn't be talking, but from what I read, it doesn't really get much better in the last episode.

Unlike many people are saying, in my opinion, Koizora wasn't even really all that sad, it was just ridiculous (very similar to the second season of the anime Clannad). I didn't like it at all.

My advice to anyone who wants to watch Koizora is: if you start watching it and even begin to think that it's going to be a drama that you don't want to watch, just turn it off. 'Cause it doesn't get better.

I know a lot of people really like this drama, and I don't mean to offend you, but I really don't understand why anyone would like it. It's a poor story, and quite honestly I don't find many redeeming qualities in it.

The only even remotely good thing about Koizora is that the actors can act and the music doesn't suck. Quite obviously I don't give any "re-watch value" to this drama since I couldn't even finish it, and the story was seriously a major fail.

Full disclosure: I\'\'m writing this right after having seen the last episode, and I\'\'m in still in tears, so please bear with me. If I had to choose two words to describe the feel of this drama, they would be: somber and contemplative. Not that there aren\'\'t any cute moments, because trust me there are plenty. However, the overall muted color palette and the restrained acting from the cast really invites the viewer to really think about life, love, and death along with the characters, to realize that death is needed to bring new life, and that old love must be released to allow new love to flourish.

What I found most compelling was the friendship between Shin Ji Hyun and Song Yi Kyung, which placed the romances on the back burner for me. Granted, I\'\'m new to the K-Drama scene, so there might be plenty of dramas that depict such a beautiful relationship between women. However, 49 Days was my first encounter of such a thing, and I became emotionally involved in how Ji Hyun comes to care for her unsuspecting host, and how Yi Kyung in turn grows to care for her unexpected friend. The way these two help to bring closure to each other was a joy for me to watch.

The soundtrack also both perfectly captures and amplifies the mood of the series, especially Jung Il Woo\'\'s contribution entitled \"Scarecrow\". The story, based on a somewhat esoteric bit of Buddhist after-life theory, is original, extremely well written, and perfectly paced so that the story is constantly progressing and never stagnating over some little plot point. There has been much griping about the ending, and although there are clues clumsily given in the later episodes, I understand how some find the ending unexpected. However, this drama never billed itself as a light drama or as a romantic comedy, so I think it\'\'s a bit disingenuous to claim that the ending hoodwinks the audience. I was unsatisfied with one unnecessary storyline that was introduced, and instantly wrapped up, in the last episode, hence the 9 for story. Overall, despite centering around death, this is one of the most life-affirming dramas I have seen. It might be a bit premature, but this drama has my vote for one of the best in 2011.

Ok! So I gave this all 10's and that is b/c it was an amazing story. Even though we all love a sweet ending where everything works out; I appreciate the fact that this did not end that way exactly. The last two episodes were so touching and things happened that were so unexpected. I will watch this one over and over b/c I love the concept of "what happens after death?" It also shows that no1 escapes death. Every1 should watch this for the profound lessons that are learned about life and love.

Mars is my favourite manga ever! The story is fantastic and the characters are so lovable. When I found that there was a drama, I started watching it without even giving the second thought (I don\'\'t usually watch Taiwanese dramas)...
I liked it, but it doesn\'\'t come even close to what the mange is for me, I think Koreans would make the drama better (my personal, subjective opinion). Though I likes the guy playing Ray, I didn\'\'t like Barbie\'\'s performance, she wasn\'\'t quite Kira...
Maybe if you like the mange very-very much, you expect the drama to be everything you expected, and if smthg is not...you get disappointed easily.

If you have watched the anime or read the manga this will disappoint. Without Lion-san... it just isn't a story to me. Asumi was way too tall and old, but the others were cast well. Because Lion-san was missing, a lot of story points that were, to me, crucial were glossed over or missed. Overall I had too hard of a time divorcing myself from one of my favorite anime to watch this because the anime left such a strong impression. Story? Watch the anime, way better and longer too!

The lead characters do have a strong chemistry which I appreciate. Im not sure if the male lead can act or not cause most of the time his face is blank, maybe thats apart of his character? The female lead was annoying. She just cries too much and acts ridiculous all the time. Her hair also bothered me for some reason. The storyline is interesting and different. The supporting cast all did a great acting job. The last episode is weird in that the first half goes by too fast that its hard to keep up with everything thats going on. Then the later half is like slow. The last scene was confusing...This is not the best drama but it beats a lot of others.

This is the first drama that I watched. I fell in love w/ kdrama b/c of this story. I work w/ kids that have the same background or worse than the main character and I have to say she displayed a range of emotion that was believable. I will watch this drama over and over b/c it was amazing. She showed how hard it is for someone to express their emotions when they don't know how to.

This was an enjoyable series! The acting was great, I was really reeled in. The actors didn\'\'t leave me a choice but for me to love them and their characters, and yes even the antagonists. :D For me one of the most important things in a drama, if not the most important, is the acting. Also, all of the characters were believable, and none of them were pure evil just because there was someone who needed to stand against the protagonists. Many of the antagonists just went against the Jalgeum Quartet because they were motivated by their love for a woman or a family member, and I find that very believable and very human.

However, the ending kind of felt hurried and some characters who I\'\'d like to know more about (like Chosun and Ha In Soo) have been left in the dark. There should have been another episode so the last episode could be expanded to cover more characters :(

Anyway, good job Sungkyunkwan Scandal!! :D

Even it is a really ordinary drama I think it's a touching drama that can make you cry.
I'm just the girl who likes lovestories - and if you like that too it really is worth to watch.
If you like good-looking taiwanese actors, too.
The serious scenes often are too long, but there are also very funny scenes.
Sometimes the characters aren't that authentic but they are lively. The Opening Music is from 'Fahrenheit'

It's(not only)a lovestory, that is foreseeable from the beginning, but you know: The journey is the reward.
That shy love between Wu Chun and Angela Zhang is heart- thrilling to watch! It's this 'One-and-only-forever-love'.

I stumbled across My Princess by complete accident, and I'm very glad I did.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much of this drama, at all. The casting however was SUPERB. I love Kim Tae-hee and hope to see her in many more movies like this. Song Seung-heon was brilliant, played his part magnificently.

The whole plot was done well, and the characters were all played to perfection. I did find it very comedic and light hearted, the scripting did a very good job in keeping the majority of it light and fun.

The two major flaws in this drama were the pacing and the music, I feel. The pacing was great at the beginning and brilliant at the end, but the middle got a little jumbled, and if I'm honest, boring. Others have commented on it so I know I'm not alone when thinking this. The scripting just seemed to run away with itself and so it really got so boring to the point I was tempted to skip episodes.

The music was all off, for some strange reason sometimes the music would overpower the dialogue, or the music seemed to be playing in the wrong part, sad parts accompanied by happy music. Being a music lover, this just sounded very wrong.

On the whole, definitely a drama I'd recommend watching if you can stick through the boring parts to get a brilliant ending. You won't be disappointed!

I really enjoyed this version of the F4. I have to say the Korean version is my favorite. This version is really good and I would watch it again for the story b/c it is so different from the others. I had some trouble getting through the Japanese version b/c of the really bad acting and the throw back to the 80's. The only problem I had with watching Meteor Garden was the music. Man who thought of using those REALLY old songs that no1 listened to in the 1st place. It was like being forced to listening to the Bee Gee's w/ my mom when I was a kid. Other than that it was pretty good. Even though there were times it really pissed me off the story would fill out and make me happy again. They should remake this version w/ better music. Please ppl when you watch don't equate it to the other versions b/c each version focuses on a different aspect of the story and that is what makes them so enjoyable to watch. You never get the same story twice. Enjoy it for it's originality and different perspective.

Yup, it's that good that it was given a 10 by 5 from me. I bloody loved this show. It has flow, the lead characters are entertaining and the performances by the actors was fantastic. I started out a fanatic of Shibasaki Kou (Utsumi Kaoru) which is very different from many of the posters here to actually being a fan of Fukuyama Masaharu (Yukawa Manabu) (who is as hot as everyone says!!!) Smilie: Tongue Smilie: LOL.

What was really the key element for me was the very unusual relationship of the mains to each other, more so than the mysteries themselves. The character of Utsumi Kaoru is extremely dedicated and very tough detective. Everything she does is highly idealistic with little to zero cynicism. What's also interesting is how she slowly ingrains herself into Yukawa Manabu's life.

Yukawa Manabu is definitely a man who has very little to no real relationship. I would be sincerely surprised if he ever had a love interest in the past. <---Which is an idea that would be great for a second season. While you can see that Utsumi Kaoru is an innocent in many ways (romantic relationship definitely an innocent), I'll associate slightly due to her life poverty and ambitions. They seem to mesh well with Yukawa being far more reluctant to get attached while Utsumi seemed to have no problems of developing an attachment to him.

The untapped sexual tension between the two is definitely something very noticeable. What makes it entertaining is that it's far more reminscint of young love or puppy love than adult mind games. Again this goes back to both their innocents in regards to deep romantic and emotional relationships. Although I see a lot of X-Files in this story with a realistic end, I find that the tension one was used to between Mulder and Scully is far different than the one between these two that was filled with shy glances and awkward touching or moments.

Overall the effect on that level is endearing and sweet to watch and I would love to get at least two more seasons before a culmination of their relationship. I had heard there is a chance of a Galileo movie and that is bound to be great and hopefully give us more in the future.

The actors really brought out the characters and scenes. The science aspect was truly a great twist. Now, I'll diverge a bit and note many of the comments about Trick which I find completely and utterly different. The character of Utsumi is practical although she is willing to believe in the impossible but after being around Yukawa she realizes later that much of these have logical and scientific answers. So she grows and transitions.

In Trick, we have two non-believers even though one of them is a college physicists. The characters and the stories, as well as the real essences of the shows are extremely different. There are just three similarities there is a male physicist Assistant Professor who are qualified in their field. There is a female partnered with the Professor solving mysteries. But that's where it ends. While Yamada Naoko is a magician, Ustumi Kaoru is a police officer. Secondly not as many people died in Galileo as they did in Trick.

This is really and truly a different show with a different vibe. While it was hard to take Abe Hiroshi (Ueda Jiro) seriously as a Physicist Professor it is not hard at all to see Fukuyama Masaharu (Yukawa Manabu) as an extremely dedicated and serious scientist. He was quintessential and was not an anime character...although there were moments where you had to pause like when Yukawa Manabu would figure out a problem and he'd do this weird hand gesture in front of his face. Besides that he was very detached but approachable and extremely intelligent professor that demands studiousness and seriousness from those around him. This was not the case in Trick for Ueda Jiro.

The two women are slightly similar but more so different. Nakama Yukie (Yamada Naoko) has her mum and she's slightly silly and doesn't pay her bills and gets roped into the adventures by Ueda Jiro. Shibasaki Kou (Utsumi Kaoru) is not like that, she's sweet and kind, innocent with an almost lap dog appeal in her zeal for adventure and solving a crime. Plus she is emotionally moved by her cases which is great to see. Mainly because Yakawa doesn't know how to react to her emotions a great deal of the time. Their both nice ladies but very different.

There's no way one can compare Trick to Galileo as similar shows. Their inherently separate and to tell you the truth I love Galileo more. It's just fun and exciting and something I can watch over and over again. Not only for the mains but also the guest stars. It was a slew of guest stars for each episode.

In episode 3, you have Hirosue Ryoko who was in Dekichatta Kekkon (on aznv it's Shotgun Marriage).

In episode 4, you have my fave actor, Katori Shingo who is amazing and if you love him as much as me, then you'll love the shower scene. JEEZUS!! He was something else in that episode, it's definitely my fave ep.

In episode 6, you have Horikita Maki (Hanazakari no Kimitachi). Not much by her, but she was in it.

So you're in for a few special guests.

The show is entertaining. It's sad in some parts, truly psycho in others, and totally funny and emotional at times. It's really just hearty fun and I can't really recommend it more than I have. You will enjoy it, I guarantee that.

Everything that was good about this drama ended with the OST. The plot was dry, the acting was alright at best. The idea was good, but it was dragged out for way too long. The story could have developed much more quickly than it did, so you could fast forward through half of it, and not miss a single thing. If you're into indie music, just listen to the soundtrack, the drama isn't worth it.

49 Days is a drama based on a Buddhism theory, although the director changed the theory in some ways to make it a bit more logical for the plot. According to the plot, a girl was about to get married, but got into a car accident. When a handsome "angel of death" (Scheduler) arrived and told her that it actually isn't time for her to die yet, she got the chance to attend the "49-Days-Programme". Meaning that her body is in a coma, but her soul is able to "wander around". In 49 days, she has to gather 3 pure tears from her loved ones by using the body of the person who caused her death.

Although this drama has some illogical flaws here and there which might be confusing sometimes, it still is one of the best dramas I've watched so far (this is coming from a drama fanatic!). Not only the relationships between the different characters, but also the moral of the drama makes it even more interesting to watch. A drama filled with romance, suspense and many associations to the reality is not something one should miss out. :).

I still have 2 episodes to go and already am sad since it's going to end soon.

Well, I highly recommend this drama to all of you who are still considering watching this. Don't hesitate and trust me, you're NOT going to be dissappointed! ^_^
