Both tells the story of a talented chef and their work life in a restaurant. The differences are in 'Dinner', the main character is a chef who once works in a prominent restaurant in Italy while in 'Bambino', the main character just about to learn the harsh world of being a chef.

Both are about Italian restaurants, and there are lots of cooking scenes that make you hungry. The main plots are different (Dinner is about saving the restaurant, while Bambino! is more like a coming-of-age drama about character growth), but they have the same simple, heartwarming atmosphere that makes you smile.
