He dispatches Zhong Yu to take A'Chu back to Blue City but A'Chu refuses, aghast that Yan Xun is using the people of Northern Yan as bait so that he can conquer Wei capital. She relays a message to Yan Xun stating that it is not too late to turn back and save his people and that she will be waiting for him in Hong Chuan.
