TCC 100 Most Handsome and Beautiful Asia 2018: Japan Edition Sato Tomoko leads an ordinary life with her husband and young child. One day, she defies the rules at the company where she works part-time to supplement the household income, and is fired. Tomoko is in her 40s, a high school dropout and has no qualifications. How is she to get a job? She happens to find out about the huge pay and high winning rate of members of the city, town and village councils through a TV programme. Equating huge pay with family happiness, the foolhardy Tomoko quickly decides to run for the city council. Her rival in the election race is Todo Makoto, who comes from a long line of politicians. Hirata Kazumi, a former star political journalist at a newspaper and a friend whose child attends the same nursery school, is inspired by Tomoko’s energy and ability to unify people, and becomes her supporter. Política, corrupción, valores familiares e ideales humanos se cruzan en esta obra maestra
Minshu no Teki (enemigo público) fue espectacular la verdad, superó mucho mis expectativas, yo me imaginaba que sería muy buen dorama, pero es maravilloso en muchos niveles, le doy 10/10. Trata de una ama de casa que solo se graduó hasta secundaria que pierde su trabajo y decide entrar a la política lanzándose para un puesto de consejal del municipio donde vive, a partir de allí se desarrolla la trama. La serie toca temas fuertes sobre como funciona la política en Japón, siento que aprendí mucho al respecto, también muestra temas sobre el choque entre los ideales vs la realidad, la manera de hacer las cosas vs el resultado que deseas obtener, nuevas formas de estructuras familiares que son a veces rechazadas por la sociedad, la importancia del trabajo en equipo y la camaraderia con personas que comparten tus objetivos, etc. personajes con muchísimo desarrollo durante la serie, con elenco de lujo, tanto Issei Takahashi como Shinohara Ryoko brillaron en esta serie como siempre pero me impresionó mucho Ishida Yuriko tanto que quiero ver sus otros trabajos porque se lució mucho en esta serie. La historia me sacó lágrimas y risas, y tiene un mensaje muy profundo. Muy recomendada!¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
Feel good drama - love the mother - women angle.
Hooked from the first episode. Politics as I would like to see it.Too often politics at any level is about what the political machine wants rather than the people.
This show reminds us of that fact and what would happen if our needs were considered.
Love the mother - women angle, how the mothers of future leaders were not always considered even though their roles were so important. If they were happy and fulfilled, the family would have a better chance of being stable.
Enjoyed the acting very much.
Looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes to see how the story unfolds as politics always corrupts, so it will be interesting to see how that is overcome.

Update: The episodes continue to be very good, dealing with social issues and surprising solutions. Really happy that I found this show. Right through to the end it continues to entertain while providing ethical, positive outcomes.
Appreciate the support acting by various cast members - Takahashi Issei, Yuriko Ishida, Tanaka Kei. And of course the opposition lead role well played out by Furuta Arata.
