After her husband died, Hye Shil takes care of her needy family. Il Hyeong, her brother-in-law, thanks to her and finally he feels love toward her. So he decides to live with her after he graduates college and finds a job. Hye Shil tells Il Hyeong that her late husband wanted his brother to continue to study abroad. Thus Il Hyeong comes back with doctor's degree and asks Hye Shil to marry him. But conservative Korean Ethics doesn't allow them to marry in true love. Edit Translation
