Produce 101 Season 2 reúne a 101 aprendices de diferentes compañías de entretenimiento en Corea del Sur, y 11 aprendices son seleccionados a través de la votación de la audiencia para formar una banda de chicos. El grupo actuará durante 2 años bajo YMC Entertainment (también el sello de I.O.I de Produce 101). Los primeros 35 también se presentaron con el equipo ganador en un concierto final. Kudos to the producers and writers for improving on the shortcomings of the first season. I felt that there was less drama and the atmosphere was less competitive this time around, which was refreshing to see. The boys were a lot more enjoyable to watch, and the show's games and special events showed a fun side to the trainees and balanced the moments of despair and frustration in the show, it was a balance which I didn't get to see much in the first season.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable show, it kept me entertained and I loved the final lineup! Now, brb, gonna binge-watch Wanna One's variety shows...
