Shoujo Commando Izumi (1987)

precious friendships and a badass female lead!

It took me a while to finish Izumi because I enjoyed watching it so much that I didn't want to finish it. Shoujo Commando Izumi is about a unusual girl who tries to resocialize and find a way to live her life as ordinary as possible. Unfortunately, she has to fight evil and prove herself. What is so special about Izumi, are the wonderful friends Izumi makes in this drama. We get to see Izumi loving and protecting them from evil because they are so important to her. You get to witness wonderful friendship and understanding that made me adore the girls in this drama. Izumi would risk their life for them and so would they. If you watch this, you will not only get to experience a badass female lead but wholesome friendships and great music! Izumi needs to decide what is important to her and sometimes that means risking everything... But is she able to live a life as a normal teen girl despite her unusual power?
