A Love So Beautiful (2020)
The show's a little unrefined, rough around the edges, and at times iffy at best but its got the spirit and that's what counts.I always felt that the coming-of-age genre is a cheat code in writing since many can easily relate to its thematic values. So essentially the show was playing with house money but doesn't quite act like it. The story progression and pacing is a bit of a mess and uncoordinated. It makes safe but bland choices which, when paired with the fact that secondary characters shined a bit brighter than their primary counterparts, resulted in a safe but bland experience.
Still, the show is easy on the eyes, easy on the mind, and easy for viewers to digest as we watch a love blossom into something so beautiful.

Disappointing ending
This was a very cute and comforting drama. I liked the cast and the characters. The supporting characters were great.Everything was good but the ending vas extremely disappointing. The relationship between Cha Heon and Shin Soli as adults felt rushed. I wish they wrapped up their story instead of spending 17 minutes (out of 25) retelling their love story but from his perspective. It didn't add anything new and just wasted time. Even the second couple got a better wrap up that the main couple.

A Love So Incredibly Frustrating
For a teen rom-com, the romance was dead. Not to mention, incredibly unhealthy and bordering on toxic for every single pairing. Both Heon and Dae-sung were way too possessive over Sol-i. ESPECIALLY Heon. I do not understand how his love for Sol-i was supposed to be perceived as pure. He toys with Sol-i for YEARS to see how far she'll go for him. Dae-sung is better in some aspects, thinking more about Sol-i's happiness than his own. However, his love borders on obsession, and I seriously dislike how many years he waits for Sol-i just to be rejected all over again. It is just insane for him to have waited fifteen years and not move on. Ha-young and Jin-hwan's relationship is also a mess. Ha-young was practically in love with someone else, and then she switches feelings within a day?Also, the kisses in this show were to faint over, in the wrong way. None of the couples had any real chemistry. Heon and Sol-i's dead-fish kisses made me squirm uncomfortably and all the horrible "we had sex teehee" jokes made me cringe my eyes out. This show would probably be better if ANY of the leads had any chemistry together.
It may also have been better if the female lead, Shin Sol-i, was not SO incredibly bubbly. It's a shame because I like the actress who plays her, but her voice as Sol-i hurts my ears. Her aegyo and constant jumping were just purely annoying, especially when they contrasted too hard with Kim Yohan's total emotionless acting (let's just say he got MUCH better in School 2021). Also, all of them acted the same at 30 as at 17. This was insane. No way a 30-year-old woman whines and pouts the way a child does to act cute.
Speaking of, 15 years was an unrealistic time gap. I get that the original Chinese story took place over that long, but it's just unbelievable that these characters went from teenagers to their 30s with barely any stylistic change. Especially with the runtime being so short, a decade passes by too quickly. It would've been much better if it had taken place over six or seven years. Not to mention more realistic. Is Cha Heon supposed to be perceived as a senior doctor when he looks like a 20-year-old? Come on...
And get this! Somehow, I still enjoyed it!?!?! This show took me YEARS to finish. I tried watching it when it first came out on Netflix, and I dropped it after 8 episodes; I used to agonize over pressing play. Three years later, I decided to pick it up again, and something just hit differently this time; perhaps it was the fact that I realized how foolish a lot of these problems were and could laugh at them. The show was cute and something to entertain me when I was bored. I would not necessarily recommend it as a story. But if it has been on your radar for a while and you happen to love horrible love triangles, this will be a hoot!

Este dorama me surpreendeu mais do que eu esperava.
Sendo sincera, eu esperava que eu não gostaria dessa adaptação... porém, como eu aprendi a lição de não julgar o drama pela primeira impressão, eu continuei assistindo e não me arrependi, porque ele foi maravilhoso.Por ser uma adaptação meio que acelerada, com episódios de 20 minutos, eu estranhei inicialmente, mas depois foi só sucesso. Eu realmente gostei da escolha do elenco, mesmo sendo a minha primeira vez com todos. As OSTs são maravilhosas e encantadoras e o final foi sensacional.
Agora, eles mandaram pesado com o triângulo amoroso! Mas... eu ainda continuei firme no grupo do Yohan (o nível de fofura desse homem só perde pro do Cha Eun-Woo... aaaa muito lindo!). E aqueles bloopers no final?? Foram tudo!!
Sério, eu gosto muito da versão chinesa, mas esta daqui também tocou meu coração <3!

Mto clichê!!
Esse foi o meu segundo k-drama da vida, eu amo ele d+. Eu já vi ele 3 vezes pq amo, acho ele mto bom sinceramente.. e por ser clichê mtas coisas foram previstas então eu não me surpiendia mto, mas mesmo assim eu chorei e ainda vou chorar vendo!!Indo para os personagens: a prota eu amo ela por ser fofa e madura, mas algumas vezes confesso q me dava vontade de socar ela kaka.. porém eu sempre chorava junto. Os 2 melhores amigos (o segundo casal) eu simplesmente amo eles de paixão não poderia ter personagens melhores na série acho a amiga super simpática e linda e o outro acho ele mto fofo.. na primeira vez eu não o recusava skksks. De verdade já quis esmurrar várias vezes aquela cara de porcelana dele pq ela magoava mto a prota, mas sempre passava pano pra ele. E por último o "brother" eu amo amo amo ele, fiquei sim triste por ele e por ele fazer parte do triângulo mas ainda sim torcia pro casal principal, eu acho ele mto fofo tbm e adorava quando ele ia lá e consolava ela

Oh a Dream Puppy Love
Shin Soli really said that her imagination keeps her afloat. Anyone must have their moments to smile in between these high school life stories. I have mine too. How every episode brings the plot into the light watch is the charm of this drama, but also what it lacks because I tend to lose my will to anticipate what happened. Cha Heon is a tsundere, but the formula of him showing Soli his back and smiles to himself has turned repetitive. His figure is too sweet to be 'mean' enough. Also, can we talk about how the ost repeat itself inside the story too much as if the drama doesn't have enough songs to be featured. All songs are great! Please use all of them consecutively. I think Woo Daesung deserves a slight subplot too, right? He is the second lead but Jinhwan and Hayoung a complete history until the drama ends but we only have subtle view about how Daesung's future look like. I enjoy this drama between my lunch. It's quite heartwarming to remember about how love grows (though this drama still fall into half realistic in a way).¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

? minha opinião: gente, a love so beautiful foi meu primeiro drama coreano, e nossa, eu literalmente *surtei* quando vi a profundidade com que os personagens são tratados, e nossa, cada toque na mão, cada abraço, suspiro... gente, é MUITO MAIS INTENSO que nas séries ocidentais! pros orientais, todas essas demonstrações de carinho normais pra gente, é algo intenso pra eles, e é aí que fica perfeito!!!? o Dae-seong é simplesmente o homem dos meus sonhos gente, sem condições ?? ele é super fofo com a Sol-i, protege ela, e tem uma vida cheia de pressões do pai, com uma avó doente, enfim... e ainda sim, ele sempre dá prioridade pra Sol-i, e pras amizades da escola. isso também é um ponto muito fod# pra se tocar: A love so beautiful é muitoooo mais sobre amizade e desenvolvimento pessoal do que propriamente o romance.
? "ah cass, mas não tem romance?" tem, e bastante! é comédia romântica, super teen mesmo, e bem fofinho, mas eu acho que a Sol-i correu muito atrás de quem não merecia, e é por isso que tiro meia estrela do k-drama. eu vi MUITO rápido, e ele é MUITO envolvente e gostoso de ver, e emocionante também, mas a parte romântica mesmo poderia ser mais desenvolvida pelos criadores e diretores. mas, de qualquer maneira, me fez suspirar demais!

boring and cliche saturated
This is the most boring kdrama I've watched in my entire life, I really liked the couple because they are so cute, but at the same time sooo boring, if you want to watch something and you have nothing to watch I recommend this kdrama, but if you want a kdrama that changes your outlook on life or idk i really don't recommend itThe way the boy treats her is so disgusting and she still likes him, how girl??? you don't have self love??and out of nowhere he started liking her??!! the only thing that saves this kdrama is the intro music

Loved it
Although I’ve never seen the Cdrama version (and probably never will) I have to disagree with most of the reviewers here. Could be my personal preference but I loved how the drama unfolded and the chemistry between the actors was there. It’s definitely a lighter drama and fluffy feelings abound but the fact that they hit troubled waters and manage to navigate through them - in the end. I appreciated it. A love so beautiful, uma história de clichê fofa
Remakes são sempre um risco quando são propostos ao público, dessa forma, na maioria dos casos pode não agradar à uma parcela dos telespectadores. Nessa perspectiva, quando me deparei com a história de a love so beautiful sabia que estava assistindo a um drama que estava a sombra de sua versão original. No entanto, busquei olhar pra história sob minha própria visão e digo que tive contato com uma obra que apresenta todas as tolices que fazemos ou pensamos em nossa adolescência.Em minhas primeiras impressões sobre o drama me incomodou o uso da mesma fórmula que todos conhecemos onde o amor quebra a distância entre protagonistas e que ambos se atraem, porém, um lado é mais intenso que o outro. Muitas histórias podem ser citadas como exemplo disso creio que o mais célebre seja Playful Kiss, remake de 2010, no entanto, com a medida que passava os episódios eu sentia uma certa nostalgia afinal, a maioria de nós já amou de maneira intensa alguém em nossa vida.
A questão de A love so beautiful é justamente a previsibilidade da história pois você sabe como ela vai se desenrolar e repito novamente o clichê é algo que pode incomodar ou agradar, essa decisão fica a sua escolha. Nesse sentido, acho que o drama atende as expectativas daqueles que procuram o amor adolescente, Em muitas resenhas li que essa série poderia muito bem ser retransmitida em canais como a Disney e sendo sincero acho muito difícil a indústria americana saber usar um clichê de forma boa.
O elenco tem uma atuação boa e as cenas desenvolvidas podem causar um certo incômodo, dada todas as discussões atuais sobre o amor próprio e sua relevância na vida, mas acredito que esse drama serve como um frescor pra aqueles que gostam dessas histórias que dispensam a complexidade e utilizam-se de formas já muito exploradas nos dramas sul-coreanos. Portanto, A Love so Beautiful vai lhe entregar uma história de uma protagonista que fez de tudo pra ter o seu amor e que a insistência acaba por descongelar o coração de seu amado.

Mais um idol que escolheu um roteiro ruim.
Esse dorama é bem clichezinho e muito bobinho, no geral é feito para um público bem infantil. O relacionamento dos protagonistas é a base da humilhação e da ignorância, eu gosto do tipo de protagonista masculino mais introvertido e reservado, mas o Cha Heon é apesar ignorante e não da a mínima para a protagonista, e as poucas cenas onde ele mostra sentir algo por ela não significam nada já que ele não mudou e não fez o mínimo para tentar ser gentil. A Sol-i é uma coitada apaixonada que constantemente se humilha pelo mínimo de atenção por alguém que não faz questão dela e acaba deixando de lado um garoto que realmente se esforça para deixá-la feliz. Nada me vem a memória sobre detalhes da história ou dos personagens secundários, acho que assisti esse dorama a muito tempo e tenho lembranças bem vagas, além de que a história também não é muito marcante. Light-hearted youth romance
There's nothing outstanding on the plot itself, it's a typical high school story of friendship, crushes, romance, love triangle and such but still it sends butterflies on my stomach as I'm watching it. I love the journey of them getting older. I felt like I was growing with them. I saw a lot of negative comments regarding the 'remake' however I wasn't able to watch the original version yet so I can't really compare it to that.If there's one thing that left a mark on my mind, it was how pure is the second lead's feelings towards the main lead to the point that he even set his feelings aside just to make SolYi happy. That was so touching for me. The casts chemistry is superb and I just feel energized watching them.
I love that they used Kim JongKook's song 'Lovable' as the OST. I am definitely singing it on my mind most of the time.
If you just want a chill series to watch that will bring you back to your high school days, this is definitely a must watch. It's just a nice stress reliever after a long day.
