Such a beautiful show
This is a much watch show. The episodes are short but honestly, it is so well done and every minute is used well. The interaction and romance between the two main characters feels very authentic and something you wish you had. The characters are really intriguing and have depth to them and have a back story. As the character get to know each other, we as the learn more about them and their background and why they behave the way they do. I recommend watching this. I'm already re-watching it. Oh, wow. Korea is sure on fire with their BL dramas. Sure, they’re very short but it’s quality entertainment, well written and well acted stories. And with each one they raise the bar. Incredible.With this one, I wasn’t sure what to think of the characters at first. Kang Seo Joon seemed like your typical spoiled rich airhead whereas Han Ji Woo was his typical cold and stand-offish counterpart. But then... Then it turned out that Seo Joon was sweet and kind, immensely capable at handling his affairs and all around just a really good egg. And Ji Woo wasn’t so much cold as so very, very afraid of getting hurt that he would rather prefer not to let anyone in. Until Seo Joon happened, that is, someone willing to go the extra mile and climb over all the walls that Ji Woo erected around himself to protect his heart. Wonderful.
My favorite moments happened towards the end of the drama. When Kang Seo Joon stood up for himself and let the reporter have the CCTV vid. When Han Ji Woo realized that his boss planned to blackmail Seo Joon, that it was someone from his life who threatened Seo Joon this time. When Seo Joon came to deal with Ji Woo’s boss - Ji Woo’s face! When Seo Joon wouldn’t let Ji Woo push him away, saying (basically), “If you can’t come to me, I’ll come to you.” The whole of episode 9, of course, their soft intimacy...
But also the whole plot with Kang Seo Joon’s panic attacks, the way Ji Woo did his best to protect Seo Joon from the triggers once he realized what was going on. Seo Joon’s manager’s and his boss’ reactions when they realized that Seo Joon was still suffering from them and he just kept it to himself. That was wonderful and it gave the drama depth.
I think this is a drama that demands a re-watch once you reach the end and understand all the characters better. Because then you go all, “Oh!” in certain places and it makes the story seem all the richer.

Best out of all BLs I've seen
This is the cutest Korean BL I've watched and I saw 4 before this one. The actors are older, much better and have way better chemistry. I want to see them in lead roles from now on. Shout out to Kim Kang Min he was a cute maknae in Tale of the Nine Tailed but here he was such a tsundere I couldn't recognise him. It had so much fluff which I love and the best kiss scene (and implied bed scene) out of all BLs. The story needed more work because there were so many things going on with side characters which were not fully explained and I was confused half the time. I really hope for the day Korea will do BL on the mainstream with a bigger budget and better writing but other than that, the actors did the best with what they were given.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
A cute little adventure
It's nice to see the Korean industry taking another step towards LGBT content. This past year they've been dipping their toes more and more in BL territory and I love it. While the story is very simple and barebones, To My Star offers a short but sweet look into the lives of two very opposite people as they enter each other's worlds. A quiet, stoic chef suddenly finds his space invaded by a flirty, outgoing actor who's trying to lie low after a scandal threatens his career and sparks fly. The story doesn't go too deep into who these characters are, where they came from or how they got here, it does give us just enough to tell what kind of people they are. In web dramas, there is never enough time to really get the full story. The crew needs to pick and choose the level of detail they can handle and what parts should be sacrificed, and more often than not that's nuance. Fortunately, To My Star makes up for its losses with a nice, slow romance that isn't half as unhealthy as most of the titles in the genre.Definitely worth a watch. It's short and sweet and won't take up much of your time, and it's the perfect way to enjoy the genre if you're not a fan of high school romances. There are better titles out there, but that doesn't make this one any less cute.

'To My Star' had everything I loved, from characters with depth to one of my favorite tropes, which is opposites-attract, one of the male leads was funny, and the other was serious. This, hands down is one of my favorite Korean BL shows. If this show was longer, it could have been even more spectacular, we could have learned more about the characters and their pasts, we could have seen the main couple's relationship grow even more and their perfect chemistry. Honestly, I would have loved to see more simply because the story was so intriguing to me. The actors did a pretty amazing job, far better than some other BL shows I've watched, and I completely agree with a review I had read before that said the actors really had chemistry and went for it, no weird stiff kissing like some other shows, the ending actually left me giddy. I also enjoyed the music/song they used for the show. Overall, I would definitely rewatch this show, and this girl can even hope they make another season because I already miss the characters so much.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
Worth. It.
I did not expect to love this as much as I did and I really think this deserves more attention and recognition. The characters were well-portrayed and the actors did a really great job. I watched some of the behind the scenes and the main actors seemed to have some fun and playful energy with each other even off screen. I could tell they both enjoyed their characters and the process of filming this. I also watched season 2 (I finished both season 1 and season 2 in a 2 day span, that can really show you how much I loved this) and yes there is some hardship faced in that season but their story is told just as beautifully it is in season 1. 100% worth the watch, even if the first few episodes may give off an awkward atmosphere, give it a chance!!¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
Really Cute
The story beautifully portrays a growing relationship between two young men with completely different careers. Their opposite personalities added depth to their characters, and I love how they helped each other develop. I would also mention how I really liked that they added a character that depicts a “confident gay” as I may say without hesitations or whatsoever when it comes to what he truly likes (no more “I do not like men, I only like him” lines which irritate me, I guess haha). It felt like they were existing in a world where homophobia does not exist, and they just took everything casually.I went into it not expecting much, but thankfully it was good, the characters were well matched and suited each other, the plot there is not much to it, the kiss scenes were not so good, basically just putting each other lips together, the story also shows a glimpse of the entertainment/showbiz industry. The struggles of living a normal life as an actor and the realities of the controversies they get involved in. Also shows how media can be deceiving, and how it affects the lives of celebrities. although i feel that they could have explored this more as this is always a norm amongst showbiz and the actors/actress.
It was really short and sort of got to the point or the point came across really quickly, you could have figures out basically from the fist episode what is going on.
Overall, this drama is very good in my opinion and probably my favorite among the recent ones that Korea has produced (Color Rush, WYEL, Mr Heart, Wish You). I fell in love with the cuteness of the plot and I really wish it was longer. Nonetheless, this is good and it made it into my favorite's.

A Touching Love Story With Incredible Depth
As with every Korean BL drama, the summary seems lighthearted, but the production of the story makes it deep and different from anything you're ever seen before.I cannot emphasize enough how much this drama made me feel. The best part was definitely the main lead who played the famous actor. His character was so well done and profound and traumatized and funny and quirky in a good way. I love this character the most.
Next, we have the love interest whose characterization is spot on. Truly, wonderful scriptwriting right there.
Then again, the script is always on point with these mini Korean BL dramas. Truly incredible. Even the supporting actors were all people of their own, so they were alive and realistic. I am awed to the bone.
Will definitely rewatch this show.

Amazing
It was amazing, everything was so sweet, kind of sad that the episodes were so short. I have watched my shares of BL dramas but this one really make me enjoy myself as I was watching it. I didn't had the urge to skip parts that were boring because I couldn't found any. And that last kiss was the cherry on top of the cake. the actors are so good and gorgeous! The whole show was really well made, the cinematography was beautiful. This is one of those realistic stories that's really hard to see these days. Sadly the romance feels a bit rushed. In the start I was a bit weirded out by the story or like I thought I knew what was about to happen, but boy I was wrong.There's no internalized homophobia, just love between two people who happen to be the same gender. There's conflict, yes, but not over their sexuality or that it's "weird" being with a dude. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I loved it, and sgqidgs gosh, I'm in looove.
It's such a fresh wave of air from this series, and I'm kinda sad that we only got two episodes of them actually being happy together.

life changing most worth watching thing ever
i dont usually write reviews but i just rewatched this show for the 8th time and have to talk about it. this show is SO good the casting is perfect the ost is perfect the story is adorable the camera work is pretty and its just so cute. the actors are amazing and their chemistry is actually INSANE like. as i said im watching it for the 8th time and yet it still took me 20 minutes to get through the last scene !! got me having butterflies giggling like a school girl and smiling like an idiot the whole show. their development is so sweet to watch, all the characters played a part and everything about it is just so precious. scenes from this show run through my mind every day and i doubt ill ever get bored of it. im also so fuckinhgexcited for s2 im loosing my minddd the actors are both sweethearts and incredible at their job genuniely two of my favourite people they also have the most precious bond :( this is is in my top 5 kdramas and things i've watched in general. i cannot express my love for this show.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
i’m so in love
Please, i don’t even know where to start. Ahhhhhhhh i loved it so much. The actors are so good and gorgeous! The whole show was really well made, the cinematography was beautiful. For me what makes a show really stand out as one of the best i’ve watched is if it’s cringy or not. I can’t bear shows that make me keep pausing to regain my sanity yk. BUT THIS SHOW! It was so natural and the chemistry was amazing. I love that it had a proper kissing scene and didn’t leave me thinking are they actually together or just friends like some other bls do :D I got the feeling that they were perfect together and i absolutely love when shows do that! I have literally no attention span so the lengths of the episodes were perfect! and they still managed to get everything into them, i didn’t feel like it was missing anything out of the storyline.
