Started great, ended.....

Let me start this by saying that I was one of those fans that after watching Until We Meet Again, I (im)patiently waited for this story. Even while watching UWMA I felt more interested in Team and Win's story more than Pharm and Dean. But sadly, Team and Win as a main couple does not do it for me. There are many amazing things about this show, but considering the main plot and story being told, it is really hard to connect with. The cinematography was gorgeous and definitely something that caught my attention. The OST was nice, and well-chosen. Though that is probably where I'd end that list. I am a big fan of most of the actors in this drama, including but not limited to, Boun, Prem, Santa, Sammy, and etc. I really want to give props where it is due, Sammy and Santa embraced their characters fully and that kept some interest for the show for me.

Now back to the storyline. There was a good amount of depth portrayed in Team's character. Though the way it was portrayed was something that made me feel a bit off. There isn't too much I can further speak on about Team's character, so I will leave it at that. I love Prem as an actor and I'm in no way speaking bad on his acting. He did really well. I just have some confliction about Team's character that I don't think I should get into on here.
Now that I'm thinking about it, there isn't much else to say besides by episode 8/9 I was almost tired of this show. I waited every week for the new episode, sitting on the edge of my seat. But at some point and I can't necessarily pinpoint when, it got repetitive and slow. Not that I would prefer the story to be rushed, but it seemed like I was just watching the same thing happening every week. Then at the point of episode 8, all the screen time the main couple had was the same thing happening. I don't know. There isn't much else I feel I should say. This started as an exciting show and was ultimately disappointing.

Worth. It.

I did not expect to love this as much as I did and I really think this deserves more attention and recognition. The characters were well-portrayed and the actors did a really great job. I watched some of the behind the scenes and the main actors seemed to have some fun and playful energy with each other even off screen. I could tell they both enjoyed their characters and the process of filming this. I also watched season 2 (I finished both season 1 and season 2 in a 2 day span, that can really show you how much I loved this) and yes there is some hardship faced in that season but their story is told just as beautifully it is in season 1. 100% worth the watch, even if the first few episodes may give off an awkward atmosphere, give it a chance!!

WARNING: SOFT AND FLUFFY FEELINGS MAY ARISE!

I should start off with I didn't have high expectations for this. Korean bls have been lacking for me recently, well bls in general, but this one truly shocked me. The acting was great, the OST is well put-together, the cinematography was GORGEOUS.
The story progressed mostly smoothly, even the flashbacks were pretty well timed.

It takes a really good show to provide me with the urge to give it such high praise. This show is worth all the high praise! I will definitely be rewatching. Definitely my new comfort bl! Gave me all the warm feelings and tingles and my heart still feels warm after I finished the show earlier today. I absolutely loved this.

I highly recommend this if you have watched "The Eighth Sense". The story is different but it gave me the same feelings as The Eighth Sense but better. Happy watching!
