The premises of both the dramas are very different.
Both ML can see spirits and the plot is around that.
From Now On, Showtime has much more to it like: investigation, Murder, and so on...

However if you like From Now on Showtime, just try couple of episodes of XXXholic, you might like it.

Both have PHJ and he's a bit the same awkward dude that thinks he's cool but he's sloppy in a cute way
And both fls also feel the same. Cute and quirky but not annoying
And both are comedies

Both MLs can see and interact with ghosts, both good and evil, and live with two or more friendly ghosts who assist them in their work. The FLs are in some sort of law profession (lawyer vs. police officer).

Both dramas are a mix of comedy, fantasy, horror, mystery, and romance. The MLs are prickly, initially obnoxious, and arrogant, hiding past pain over how they've been treated by society and/or loss. The MLs can see ghosts and have a ghost/several ghosts who they live and work with. The FLs are tough and outspoken. Both dramas involve reincarnation, evil spirits, and historical elements (flashbacks of FNOS vs. all of AATM).

If you liked the first few episodes of Heartbeat, and the overall vibe initially, then you will like From Now On, Showtime. Heartbeat's strength was likeable characters, good acting and a great concept. But the writing was unable to fully flesh out the drama in the way that it deserved. From Now On Showtime has the character development, the acting, the concept and the writing is so well done. It delivers in ways that Heartbeat wishes it could have.

-Main plot in both is about the ability of ML in FNOS and of FL in TMS to see ghosts and how they are using it to help them
-Both are romcom

30 But 17 has almost the same free-spirited, adorkable vibes. Antisocial ML and FL who is a 17 year old stuck in a 30 year old's body. It has the same light feeling throughout.

Similar setting, with the ML's house acting as a sort of "base" for the rest of the cast to be one big happy family. Because of all these crazy characters, ML thaws out and it's all so cute. The cast is made up of brilliant actors, just like this one - lots of them are seriously popular now - Shin Hye Sun as the FL... Lee Do Hyun(supporting character) and Ahn Hyo Seop(SML) are still young babies in this ??. And the housekeeper, Jennifer, is one of THE most iconic characters in Kdramaland. one of the best drama endings ever.

The only similarity is that they are reincarnated lovers and both think that the other one destroyed their family.
Both dramas are very very different from each other except the reasons above. While bulgasal is a revenge, suspense, thriller drama with a little bit of Melo and romance, "from now on showtime" is a rom-com, lighthearted drama with some ghost and revenge plot.
But both are very interesting drama. Even when Showtime is still on air i recommend it cuz its not looking like it will disappoint it's viewers, and am loving it do much.

The comedy scenes in these dramas are of the same type. If that's what you like about "The Law Cafe" then you'll definitely like "From Now On, Showtime!" and the other way around.
FLs are similar to each other. Both are brave, strong and loud when needed and engage MLs to help them.

A "supernatural" ML with the cute overzealous FL mix up
Tho Lee Dam was a total gen Z, I don't think seul hae is a gen Z but she's being cute millennial

I always thought Jin Ki Joo was a total Kyoko. Her cute slightly clueless behavior mixed with her talking back and not taking people's bs
Opening scene in p3 of FNOS was really like a scene in SB where kyoko is just oblivious while "helping"
