Synopsis by WikiDrama Edit Translation

I do not understand why Hae Mi was that much afraid of mina even after the doll made clear that she didn't want Hae Mi to get even hurt. I mean, ok it's shocking if your doll suddenly gets alive and starts killing everyone around you, but if she had tried to understand Mina a tiny little bit, then she might have stopped to kill.
and then the way Mina killed was a bit exaggerated, or at least the girl who got killed at the toilet. I mean, why bother breaking her leg?
Well I personally never really liked dolls. I prefer fluffy stuffed animals, which I can hug all the time. Actually I've been a huge fan of them ever since I was a tiny little girl. But I really never never liked dolls because they were hard and uncomfortable to hug. I would prefer to hug a human, than a doll.
But still I think that, that doll called Mina was really pitiful. She loved her Master 'till the very very end but her stupid Master was scared of her.
And then, if she was really a sculptor, then how come she didn't care at all about her dolls?
Anyways this movie is nothing for people who dislike horror movies or who have weak nerves, because if you have problems to keep being aware that this is only a movie while watching it, you might end up dreaming of this at night.

Last but not least I want to say that this movie should be restricted for people older than 16 years.

To be quite honest, even though this movie is marketed as one in the horror genre, you will not find too much horror here. Granted, while there were a few jumpscares and borderline gruesome moments, this movie lacked the right mix of elements to make it truly scary.

For example, the music is usually a key part in horror films, it keeps the suspense up and to keep to nerves on edge. Silence can also be a powerful tool, but they opted for more silence than any music which I personally find sad.

The best thing about this film was its storyline. It had so much potential, the story was very much like a fairytale and had a similar feel to the stories that have been written by the Brother's Grimm or Hans Christian Anderson. (In my personal opinion.)
I felt so much for the character Minna, she was truly a likable character, but the story lacked proper execution, which caused a lack of feelings and a sense of detachment from most of the characters. Which can either be seen as good because of certain deaths or bad as it didn't leave enough of an emotional impact for it to be scary or to cause the viewer to be worried about which character is in danger next.

When you mix several lacking elements with mediocre acting and scenes that are trying way too hard to be scary, you end up with a film that has an interesting storyline but leaves you unimpressed and detached. Usually you feel a sense of relief as a horror movie ends; knowing the character has successfully conquered the horrible experienses or it ends leaving questions and suspense causing you to question what would happen next; imprinting the movie into your memory.

Sadly, this movie is one I will most likely soon forget.
I wouldn't necessarily say it was a waste of time, it was lighter for those who can't handle full blown horror, but I will never recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of the genre of horror.
