Kim Do Hoon joins Kim You Jung and Kim Young Dae in talks for new K-drama by "Sweet Home" director

Actor Kim Do Hoon will reportedly be added to the cast of the upcoming thriller psychological romance K-drama Dear X.

According to media outlets on June 25, Kim Do Hoon also received the offer to star in the upcoming K-drama Dear X. He will possibly work alongside Kim You Jung and Kim Young Dae who also received the casting offer. 

Kim Do Hoon's agency hasn't responded to the casting reports. 

If the rising actor decides to join Dear X, this will be his third upcoming K-drama. Kim Do Hoon is also set to star in the new series Your Honor and Acquaintances. 

Early this year, he made a special cameo appearance in The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection. 

Kim Do Hoon also recently starred in the Netflix original entertainment program Agents of Mystery wherein he worked alongside Girls Day's Lee Hye Ri, Lee Yong Jin, John Park, Lee Eun Ji, and aespa's Karina. 

He will also star in the movie Handsome Guys led by Lee Sung Min which will premiere in Korean theaters starting tomorrow.

Dear X is about Baek Ah Jin, an actress who became famous by any means necessary. She's not very social, but she's talented.  Something bad happens and she loses her fame, but one person stays with her. The K-drama will be based on the webtoon of the same name by artist Ban Ki Woon.

The upcoming K-drama will be helmed by director Lee Eung Bok who is known for creating the K-dramas Sweet Home, Mr. Sunshine, Goblin, Descendants of the Sun, and more. 

Kim You Jung will portray the main lead role Baek Ah Jin. Meanwhile, there are no reports yet on the role that was offered to Kim Do Hoon.

Dear X will reportedly have a total of 12 episodes. The broadcast date and channel are still undecided.
