Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Kim Hi Eo Ra's next co-stars will possibly be Kim Tae Ri and Shin Ye Eun.
Media insiders revealed on April 11 that Kim Hi Eo Ra has been picked as one of the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Jeong Nyeon. Previously, actresses Kim Tae Ri and Shin Ye Eun also received the offer to star in the upcoming series.
Kim Hi Eo Ra's side addressed the reports. According to the actress' representative, "Kim Hi Eo Ra did receive the offer and she is currently positively reviewing it."
If the actress confirmed her casting, this will be her third K-drama for the year. Kim Hi Eo Ra is also set to be the new character in the upcoming K-drama The Uncanny Counter Season 2 led by Cho Byeong Kyu, Kim Se Jeong, Yoo Joon Sang, Yeom Hye Ran, Ahn Suk Hwan, and Yoo In Soo.
Early this year, Kim Hi Eo Ra starred in the hit Netflix original series The Glory Part 2 wherein she got praised for her brilliant acting. This drama also gave Kim Hi Eo Ra her newfound fame. Many are already anticipating the next projects that the actress will do and how she will show another side of her as an actress.
The upcoming K-drama Jeong Nyeon will base its story on the webtoon of the same name written by Seo Irae and illustrated by Namon.
It will revolve around Jeong Nyeon and her journey of reaching her dreams of becoming a star as she enters a women's traditional theater company in the 1950s setting.
Jeong Nyeon will be the collaboration project of director Jung Ji In (The Red Sleeve) and writer Choi Hyo Bi (A Time Called You and Babysitter).
Kim Hi Eo Ra got the offer to play the character that is also a member of the women's traditional theater company.
