1. W: Dos Mundos
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Most fast paced and exciting drama I've ever seen. It's super bingeworthy and great if you need something that doesn't take long to pick up. I've rewatched this show 7x.

2. Descendientes Del Sol
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Amazing show about a soldier and a doctor, whose views on what it means to save a life affect their relationship. The main couple is also super cute.

3. Age of Youth
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
This show. This show is what jumpstarted me to my addiction to Asian dramas. In the past, I had only seen about 6 dramas and completed one. If it weren't for this show, I wouldn't have become the person I am today.
Highly recommend! It's a college drama about 5 girls living together and their stories. I suggest waiting till the end of the 1st episode before deciding whether or not to continue this show.

4. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Probably one of the most funniest shows I've seen. This drama has everything you could probably ask for in a show: romance, comedy, mystery, action, etc.

5. El Hada De Las Pesas Kim Bok Joo
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
SO CUTEEEEEE. Honestly I don't have much to say about this show other than how happy and cute it is.

6. Boys Over Flowers
Korean Drama - 2009, 25 episodes
HAHAHAHA. I like to call this a guilty pleasure. It's a lot of people's first dramas and one I saw YEARS ago. I had the opportunity to rewatch it recently and have forgotten how much I love it. It's entertaining and the OST is pretty great.

7. Mientras Dormías
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
I remember when this show first aired, I couldn't get over it. I literally rewatched the first 2 episodes a few times just because I couldn't wait for the next episode. It was so gripping and engaging in the first two episodes that I fell in love with it immediately.
Fantastic show. Great plotline. I also really love the OST for this show.

8. Dream High
Korean Drama - 2011, 16 episodes
An oldie, but a goodie.
This is a lot of the celebrity's first few dramas they were in, before they became as famous as they are today. I'm talking about Suzy, IU, Kim Soo Hyun, and OK Taecyeon. They're SO YOUNG in this!!
It's so good and cute. Music is also pretty up there.

9. Circle
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
First ever non-romance drama I watched. I found it super engaging and fresh.
-
10. Kill Me, Heal Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Most interesting drama I've seen to this day. I learned SO MUCH through this drama. It's about someone going through DID, also known as Multiple Personality Disorder.
Recommend going past the first episode before making your judgement

OMGGG my only regret with this show is having watched it too early. Please be warned, THERE IS A SECOND SEASON (which hasn't come out yet in the time I write this).
The story follows the lives of 5 doctors (all in different medical fields) and their friendship with each other. It's very heartwarming and fun to see how these doctors spend their free time jamming out with each other in their own private band.
I am usually not a fan of doctor-related shows mainly because I just don't watching things having to do with medical stuff, but I actually really liked this show. The writer of the Reply series wrote this show so you'll find the vibes quite similar. Each doctor has their own lives as well and it's just entertaining to watch. Their friendship is the biggest selling point for this show... that AND the adorable Woo Ju (one of the doctor's son) ^-^

58. Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru
Japanese Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
So the main reason why I wanted to watch this show was because Hamebe Minami was in it...
HOWEVER the reason I stayed and finished the show was because of the Japanese confectionary. Although the story is about love and revenge, the Japanese confectionary was what stood out to me. I have gained a new understanding of it and the intricacies that go with it. Each confectionary is carefully made, with a story behind it. The amount of work that goes into is is just mesmerizing.
Now let's get to the story. The male lead, Tsubaki accused the female lead's, Nao's, mother for murdering Tsubaki's father and now Nao wants to get back at him. Tsubaki doesn't recognizeNao and asks her hand in marriage in addition to working at the very place her mother was accused of murder, the famous Japanese confectionary shop, Kogetsuan.
If you're into love and revenge or just... BEAUTIFUL DESSERTS, then I recommend this show! I seldom watch Japanese dramas because some tend to drag despite a smaller number of episodes compared to other countries, but this one didn't :)

59. Qing Qing Zi Jin
Chinese Drama - 2020, 40 episodes
Super underrated wuxia. It's super easy to follow yet doesn't make the audience lose interest.
Our female lead, Wen Ren Juan, played by Rain Lu, is absolutely adorable. She's strong willed and willing to do anything to protect those she cares about. The male lead, Luo Qui Chi, is a misunderstood fellow who runs into Wen Ren Juan. They both end up to be entangled into each others lives and grow feelings for each other.
What I loved about this show is just how pure the love between our leads are. They're just so young and adorable and seeing them together makes me want to squeal hehehe. I will say though, the second leads do become a bit of a nuance, however, the leads' love for each other don't really waver. Despite the struggles that come their way, they're always able to overcome them.
I love Kris Fan's (who plays the male lead) song, 遇见你. I've replayed it so many times heheh. I believe I saw someone describe the show as "Poetry in Motion" and I agree.

60. No Quiero Ser Tu Amiga
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
Honestly one of the most underrated shows I've seen.
Similar concept to "Back to the Future," where in which the female lead is thrown back to the past, back to her mother's earlier days, and wants to change it due to her current situation.
The friendship between her and her mother and her mother's friends is so cute! I think the story is really good in terms of flow, pacing, and ability to engage an audience.
But what I loved most about this show is Duan Xiao. He is the definition of literally the most perfect partner. He is my ideal boyfriend. You will see when you watch the show ;)
I recommend watching this in the winter time, with candles lit up, and a cozy blanket around you. It's honestly the best winter show as it takes place in the snow.

61. Love and Redemption
Chinese Drama - 2020, 59 episodes
HANDS DOWN *ONE* of the BEST XIANXIA's I've ever seen.
The beginnings of the story is *similar* to Ashes of Love but I personally like Love and Redemption better (which is saying a lot because I very much still love Ashes of Love). It's similar, but very different.
This drama is amazing. I love how the characters are introduced (especially Si Feng, the male lead) The fight sequences are so cool, the CGI top notch, the OST just gets you so excited and also makes you cry at the same time, and the story is phenomenal.
It's a painful journey (as all xianxias usually are), but it's total worth it. My only con for the show is that it wasn't enough. I seriously want more. My Post-Series Depression has never been worse since this show. That's how good it was. Highly recommend!
