Feng se graduó en la Academia de Teatro de Shanghai (Shanghai Theater Academy) en 2001 y comenzó su carrera de actor ese mismo año. Ha aparecido en varios dramas televisivos.
En 2007, Feng ganó más atención después de protagonizar un drama de gran producción de la TVB de Hong Kong y la CCTV de China continental, "The Drive of Life".
