BLACKPINK Summer Diary in Hawaii is the first in the BLACKPINK Summer Diaries. The Hawaii Diary was released in 2019 and was filmed in Hawaii, like the name suggests.

BLACKPINK Summer Diary in Seoul is the prequel to BLACKPINK Summer Diary in Everland. However, the Seoul version released in 2020 and the Blackpink members filmed this diary in Seoul, Korea.

Both the females leads enrolls to a college making them the only female students there. They both also cross-dress as a male to enter the school.
