Meaningful story

As I am still watching this drama, every day seems long as to wait for the next episode. Watching the first episode already sucked me into this drama. I love how each character has their own flaws and they are not perfect. The emperor may have made despicable choices to gain the throne but after a few episode we realize that he has good intentions for his country and its people. Watching more of this drama i realize this drama is really have deep meaning of the choices that people make and how it effects their relationship with others and I realize that some choices are regretful but some are not. The strength of this drama is the story and how the story develop.
An added bonus for me is hearing zhou shen singing the ost for this drama. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Will keep watching and hoping for the next episode to come faster. hahahahaha...

love the ost for this drama

ok first of, this drama in my humble opinion has a soundtrack that really can pull at my heart string , even though i had to find a translated version of the lyric to fully understand the lyric.
The drama may have some problem in plot and editing but i think it affected at a minimal level, because majority towards the end many of the questions has been answered. I think the only thing they forgot or the editing department was in a rush or for some reason the Yunlao's master aka the spirit sword just vanishes with no explanations.

I know with some holes here and there in this drama but this is what happens when a story that has many chapters and plots is being cramped into less than 30 episodes. Overall, it was enjoyable to watch.

Feel good sweet story

Seeing LIU XUE YI as the male leading role caught my eye and I did not hesitate. He may often get casted in a supporting role but he never gets overshadowed by the lead actors or actresses. In this drama as the lead role he shines but over power the other actors. The story was funny and sweet. I love how the two female characters acts so strong and sweet and all the sudden can be a shrew . hahahahaaha!!!! The antagonist in this drama is quite the mastermind. (don't want to spoil too much) Overall, i love watching this drama and for me its the type that i can rewatch again and again.

Comical laughter all the way.

I know this drama came out in 2019 and only now i am able to watch it as i put it on a back burner waiting for all episodes to air so i can bindge watch it. I also saw snippets of it on YT and laughed at the hilarious ideas Wang Lu tend to think of doing and his teacher and also friends.
Now that i finally am in the rythm of being able to watch this drama I have been laughing all the way to the next episode. Yes, the comic relief at times can be pretty slap stick but for me it fits to the genre of the drama. This drama is not meant to be overly serious tragic love story but totally the opposite. So if you are looking for something funny and light hearted after a long day, this is the drama to watch. Just forget about how an exhausting day we had and have a good laugh.
The relationship between Wang Lu and his teacher may be thorny at times but both remain loyal to one another. Wang Lu's group of friends that joins in on his scam and adventures is totally funny too. Do give this drama a try.

Family feel good comedy.??????

After a long typing session and took some time off by drama surfing (meaning looking for interesting dramas). I Opened my iqiyi account and started surfing and this title caught my eye. The female lead was the female lead in 'I am A Cat In Dali Temple', she has always caught my attention when she acts because of her facial expression and sincere way of acting. At the first episode the story has already caught my interest. I love the girlfriend power in this story because it feels refreshing not that i am sick of bromance an all but the scene where the 2 girls talking about their journey living in the city and how they rented rooms together til they have moved to a bigger apartment was really touching. ??????

Overall, if you are looking for sweetness and fun; this is a drama that you can not miss.
