I watched this show in one night and was very impressed with character development, acting, script, etc. I didn't really even notice much about the music or lack of so I can't comment on that. The ML did a great job as a villian and the FL was spot on with her character. Although I really like chinese light novels I usually find the TV shows get boring about midway through for the most part but not this one. Excellent pace and surprisingly well done for a web series. Kudos to everyone involved in it.
