It's worth watching

Overall it was a really cute romance. Unfortunately like most dramas they start out really strong and rope you in, then it lags on for no reason and the ending Falls a little flat. The ML and FL are both really cute together and he is a sweet protective husband. I really enjoyed the love story of Gui Bai and Miss shui. That was a cute little added love story that helped me enjoy this drama. I feel like it's worth watching once but it is definitely not something I would rewatch. I am however glad that it was not a super sad ending. I hate how love stories tend to end sadly and it makes you regret watching the drama.

Definitely headed in a top spot in my book

This is my first time reviewing on here. I had to give my two cents on this one for sure! So far I absolutely love it! There are so many mushy wuxia dramas all about love. This one is about friendship and short bits of love here and there. I love the fight scenes. One flaw is there are sooooo many characters and storylines it's hard to keep up at times. There is no way to remember each character in this show. They also talk a bit fast so it's hard to read subtitles at times. The music could be better as well imo.

This is still an excellent drama. The acting is great. I don't want to see this drama end ? I still feel it's in the top 10 in my book as of now. We will see if the ending ruins it. So many dramas come out strong then bam! Bad ending.

Do not listen to these NEGATIVE reviews

This drama is suspenseful, love, danger and entertaining. It feels like people need special effects and fake kung fu/fighting in order to enjoy a show. Or they need to drool over Dylan wang or Yang Yang in order to give a decent rating. For me PHS is amazing this role. He plays a prince interested in his people and he is comical at times. On the other hand Lee tae-sun is hilarious!! His laugh is so funny and he always refers to himself in third person. The FL I feel they could have found someone better. She is bland and hard to like. The second FL is better IMO. So far their detective search for the connection between everything is the best part. There really is not much romance as of yet. It feels like there will be but we are all waiting for it to finally happen!!

Best Drama of 2023 so far!

I have truly enjoyed watching this drama. Its funny and cute all at the same time. While I love the ML, Di lanjue is the best! Of course he's easy on the eyes, but he is so sweet and loyal. I did not expect the ML to die right out the gate. I definitely was not ready for that. Thankfully he has so many story lines in this drama that you can't get enough of each character he plays. His acting range is amazing!? I wasnt a fan of fiery but it was still a sweet storyline. The drama is going so well with lots of love and happiness, yet I can feel a sad ending coming. I hate sad or rushed endings, so I hope the ending does not ruin my opinion of this drama. ML and Di lanjue need more main roles in dramas for sure!!!

Finally a good xianxia this year!

I was excited when I heard who was going to be the ML in this drama. Luo Yunxi is amazing when it comes to playing bad guy turned good. The chemistry between ML and FL is great as well. What a great twist to show their back story as a Immortal in love with a demon and the ML was the good guy in their backstory. Deng Wei is a wonderful actor too. Sadly his wife is pretty annoying. Chen Duling is an actress I just cannot get behind. I gag almost every time I see her pop up in a drama I am watching. Of course now she is after Tantai jin! He better end up putting her in her place for the FL soon or I will be disappointed. Besides that I am absolutely in love with this xianxia. This is definitely heading towards an unforgettable love story. The only thing I hate is I can feel there is a sad ending headed our way.

Ive been waiting so long!

My very first korean drama was tale of the nine taled. I was so sad that Rang died in the first one. It's wonderful to have him back. Yeon is funny but rang definitely makes me smile. I truly hope he ends up with the mermaid. He deserves a true love story. Half foxes need love too ? I want Mi ho to stick around too. Im excited to see where this season takes us. I was hoping this would go back to Yeons first love but beggars cant be choosers. I'm on the fence about Hong joo shes a bit of a nut job and I cant tell whose side shes on even though yeon and rang save her girl orchid.

It's great so far!

Many people rate everything Dylan Wang does as a 10. While I'm loving the story line the FL should have been someone else. Her acting is sub par for me. Dylan actually keeps the show interesting. I'm no Dylan groupie but I actually think his acting in this drama is excellent. The king...Man what a change from how he was in the beginning. Power really did go to his head. That stupid eunuch is the one that made him that way imo. It was clear the FL never loved the king but that bloody eunuch had to make it seem like she was infatuated with the king. I'm nervous how he will react when he finds out his love is with chief Xiao ?. He's so hot headed lately it is going to be a disaster!

It's ok

Honestly I do like it even though it's a bit silly and something's are REALLY silly. However I don't feel any of the males or females are attractive in this show. It could be how they are dressed or how their hair is done. Idk what exactly it is but it doesn't make me swoon for anyone. If anything the assassin is the only one that is semi attractive and the princess he's with. Honestly I wish they had bigger parts because their love would have been interesting to watch. I can't say if I will watch the whole thing yet. I'll wait until I'm halfway through it and decide.
